You are so fun to watch, or, listen to because you get excited about things. Those tempera paint sticks, well, if anyone could get me to purchase them, it's you. You find books I've never seen but now have on order. I just have to thank you.
You’re right on both counts regarding the Versa mark ink pad. It is also can be used to the leave water marks on pages/cards over your already laid down ink blended backgrounds ❤❤
Interested re testing versamark for anything other than embossing- it’s sticky and doesn’t dry quickly (if at all on its own). A fun thing to do is emboss with clear powder and go over with other media that the embossed image would resist. Have fun!!!
Hi Connie, lovely things you bought!! I have a tip for you about the Zest-it: put 2 or 3 demake up cottons in a little glass jar with a lid and pour some zest-it on the cottons. You then use less from the bottle and the cottons stay moist for a long period of time. Love your channel👍
Gamsol makes a citrus blender like this. I bought a bottle at least 3 years ago on Amazon. I looooove the illustrations in those Japanese coloring books. Amazing. Thanks so much. for sharing this with us. It was so much fun.
Hi Connie. The case for the tape is to keep the edges clean. If you have seen a roll of masking tape that has been laying around in a workshop you know how dirty those edges can get. I prefer the frog tape to the 3M blue painters tape when I watercolor. I think you will like it. Keep making content and I will keep watching to the end.
Ah - thanks for the info! Very true - the roll of regular masking tape rolling around in my "junk drawer" in my kitchen definitely isn't looking very pristine. :) So glad you're liking the videos!
Connie, I thoroughly enjoy your channel content and I always look forward to receiving notifications that a new video has been posted! You always make me chuckle! Keep up the amazing job! Have a fantastic fall and enjoy your coloring supplies! I’m looking forward to seeing future videos! 🎨💕
I am a chemistry teacher, too, so - instant follow! Love the Brambly Hedge Book, Never knew it existed, thank you for that. I have most of the story books and also the China tea set by Royal Doulton.
Hello to a fellow chem teacher! :) And thanks for subscribing! The Brambly Hedge book is adorable - and there is another one coming out in spring of 2025. :) Yay!
Hi Connie !!! Awesome haul !!! Ive had the dimensions book for over a year and i havent finished a single page in there yet !! You inspire me to pull it out !! Ive played with tempra sticks in the past in my experimental coloring book and they were fun but i mostly gave them to my kids, you inspire me to play with them again!! So many toys so little time !! Haha. I have the four seasons book too and i have a flip on my channel too, its adorable!! Hope you enjoy it and maybe we can buddy in it sometime in the future ! Ive had the complete Brambley Hedge book in my childrens library for a long time but i have the older ve3rsion , the coloring book looks adorable and as soon as i found out it was coming out i put it on my wishlist ! Enjoy all your new goodies my dear !!! Xoxoxoxoox
I'm currently almost finished my 1st page in the brambly hedge colouring book. It's absolutely stunning book. I have recently started adult colouring and I'm so hooked that I started an instagram to post my finished pages
I have 1 litre of zesty it and I bought Make-up Q-tips from Amazon they have a sharp point and you dip it and throw out when done....no mess compared to the paper stumps and it blends better than a pen , this is my most used product as a artist!
lol Connie! I had to stop and comment RIGHT AWAY! 😂 the dimensions book…not gonna lie…I’ve seen it before and my first thought was “this has GOT to be the hardest, most challenging book I have ever seen!” But I mean, I guess you’re right…you could use markers and not do any shading…but I like a challenge! lol pencils all the way 😂😂😂😂
Hey Connie i would absolutely love more experimental videos with the tempra paint sticks i bought some for background for my coloring pages. Mine is the kwik sticks though. Im so glued to the screen when you do videos with them love it
Hi Connie! It’s hard to slow down on things coming out!!! I just received my mystical lands of Klynnadra from your recommendation! I am so happy with them! I look forward to coloring them!! All of your purchases are fun! I liked the tempera paints too!! Thanks for sharing this was fun!!!
Connie, I told you about some gloves that helped me with my trigger fingers. Here is the information on the gloves. I hope they help you. They helped me. It can take a couple of months but is well worth the relief. I haven't had trigger fingers anymore after using these. Copper Fit (the name of the gloves) Copper Infused Compression Gloves Hand Relief All Day Relief For: Arthritis Pain & Joint Swelling I bought these here at Walmart in Pennsylvania, USA. Take care and have a good rest of the week. 😊
I’ve been able to get new colour Staedtler multi ink pens open stock in the U.K. from CraftyArts which is a subsidiary of Jackson’s. I know the shipping might be prohibitive, but for a mix of different colours rather than a box of one colour it might be an option. I got a couple of extra ivory and pastel green.
Thanks! I just looked and CraftyArts' shipping charge to Canada is £69.99 - that might be a bit steep for me. :) But thank you for the suggestion! And good to know about Rita's postcard books!
Hi Connie. Very nice haul. Love the Bramble books, they are on my want list. The versa mark is for mica powders, and yes heat embossing with the powders. I nave not used it with pan pastel. Versa mark also has a refill bottle and a versa mark pen. Is your Derwent refillable blender an alcohol ink blender that you use with coloured pencils? Thanks for sharing 🐞🇨🇦
Interesting - thanks for the info on the VersaMark! The Derwent blender pen has its own blender liquid in it - there isn't a refill for it, as far as I know, so I just buy new pens when the old ones run dry. It's meant for blending out coloured pencil so it definitely has some kind of solvent in it but they don't say on the packaging what it might be. :) K from Colouring with K refills hers with Zest It so I thought I'd try doing the same. Hope that helps! :)
Connie, I love your videos so much! You are such a joy to listen to :). Did you preorder the new Maria Trolle book, and if so, where did you order it from?
Awww... Thank you! :) I did preorder Maria's new book - I ordered it from iMusic in Denmark. Here's a link if you're interested. :) imusic.co/books/9789189889361/maria-trolle-2024-sagen-book
I think the Rita Berman book coming out next year is just an English cover of her Die Welt unter der Lupe - zu Wasser. I had preordered it too but cancelled it when I found out it was the same book!
I just recently discovered that myself - thanks for chiming in! I admit - I was disappointed. I was really hoping for a new book by Rita. :) I cancelled my pre-order as well. Ah well - we'll continue to keep an eye out for a NEW book! :)
I actually purchased gel pens at 5 Below on a whim, they’re actually decent fro $5i think it was a set of 60. The pens are cheaply made, very plain but the colors are good and they work well, no skipping
It's my wonderful friend, Beth!!!!! :) :) I've looked for a good Escher colouring book but haven't been able to find one that has good reviews. I'll keep looking. :) I hope you're having a lovely, lovely fall!! :)

Connie! You should try to patent your own formula of that pencil blend, extracting oils..lol
