Make sure you don’t have your screen rotation locked. If you have an iPhone you swipe down on the Home Screen. It shows a lock.
I noticed that both this video and the Come Follow Me manual skipped right over the covenant of America and the consequences for breaking it which would lead to our nation being overrun by people from other nations.
In light of the unprecedented invasion going on at our southern border it is incredible to me that you would have just forgotten to include it.
I'm curious as to your reason for skipping these scriptures in your presentation especially when it has so much relevance right now.
Given this is for young growing testimonies limited to about 6 mins, we can only cover so much. If you want to learn about the border issues go study 3 Nephi 21:12 or watch our video on that. Young Lions!🦁
I was taught the concepts of American liberty and freedom at the ripe age of 10 when I was a Cub Scout, I think your audience would understand it just fine. Don't underestimate them.
Agreed, that's why we covered it in our 3 Nephi 21 video. We also don't make our videos around current events, and we start them 6 months ago, so they may not even be relevant. They are to stand the test of time. So what do you think 3 Nephi 21:12 means?
I highly doubt you'd need that much time to cover the first few verses of 2 Nephi 1. I don't believe your excuse at all, to be perfectly honest.
If you are a western European you are a direct blood descendant of Jacob through Joseph and Ephraim. We learn that in 2 Nephi 3, which makes us the inheritors of this land (see 1 Nephi 13:15) as much as the seed of Lehi. Most importantly, you are not the seed of Israel, nor are you a child of God until you covenant to follow Jesus Christ. We learn that very explicitely in Galatians 3:26-29 and Mosiah 5. So those breaking our law are certainly not the seed of Israel until they make that covenant, and they won't be able to take that step until they return to their homelands and come here the right way, honestly.
You are very badly misinterpreting 3 Nephi 21.
The young lion refers to the seed of Jacob who are under the covenant to follow Christ. The Gentiles refers to those who have not made that covenant.
Human and drug traffickers, and criminal border crossers who come and in and rob and steal from hardworking Americans are not the young lions, they are gentiles.
It really bothers me that there are LDS who get this so wrong, and it saddens me that they do not know who they are. They willingly give up their birthright, they call evil good and good evil because they do not understand the scriptures.
