Film description: Ten years after the 'Phantom Menace' threatened the planet Naboo, Padme Amidala is now a Senator representing her homeworld. A faction of political separatists, led by Count Dooku, attempts to assassinate her. There are not enough Jedi to defend the Republic against the threat, so Chancellor Palpatine enlists the aid of Jango Fett, who promises that his army of clones will handle the situation. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi continues to train the young Jedi Anakin Skywalker, who fears that the Jedi code will forbid his growing romance with Amidala.

0:27 That dude's lightsaber, whose blade is green, looks similar to Anakin's new lightsaber that was given to him by that guy who gave him his spare one right before the battle started.
2:32 Dooku's like can I help you? lol
Now I’ll never be able to unsee that when I watch this movie 😂
Christopher Lee is so classy in anything he in
he doesn't even bother to draw his lightsaber lol
For people saying Mace killed an “unarmed” Jango - if you think Jango was unarmed at ANY part of this battle, you don’t know the character at all. He was one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy (The Clone Wars show confirms that as the other bounty hunters change their tune about a young Boba when they find out who’s son he is), he had a flamethrower on his gauntlet (duh), not to mention the whole ass utility belt he has literally lined with pouches…. He wasn’t unarmed, Mace just didn’t give him the chance to pull his next weapon of choice being that idk he was surrounded by like 1000 battle droids with only a handful of Jedi, not to mention one of the best swordsmen to ever be in the order turned Sith “casually” watching and could jump in at any time… Point being yeah I would’ve thrown that fade too.
Plus…Mace really doesn’t give af 60% of the time lol
How do they argue unarmed when he is literally shooting Mace?
Mace cut the monster that was chasing him, losing his lighsaber, but also aggroing the monster to Fett, running him over, breaking his jetpack. He tries to fly away from mace but can't and sadly gets wrecked in front of baby Fett.
let’s not forget the part where he once killed 5 Jedi while “unarmed” only using his fists and rocks. Dude was a monster.
jango tries to activate the jetpack right before mace goes for the killing blow but it was damaged from him getting trampled (you can see it sparking before he stands up)
Bruh mace force pulling his lightsaber back into his hand while jango tried to grab it was so clean.
"I'm gonna take your lightsaber from ya!"
"You'd think that. ( Mace Windu uses the Force to
retrieve his lightsaber. Too late, slowpoke."
That part proves that bounty hunters are no match for the Jedi.
It's also hilarious
@@calebsawyer0719 ok but what about when Jango killed council member Coleman Trebor like less than a minute before that
I always figured that Windu force pulled Jango along with his lightsaber, so Jango wouldn't shoot him while he was retrieving his lightsaber.
Fun fact: Samuel L Jackson requested a purple lightsaber just for him so he could identify himself in this scene.
He also has the letters “BMF” engraved in it. Of course I don’t need to tell you what that stands for.
@@SuperSaiyan9989 I'm dying AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-
I see Mister Glass with the color purple on his lightsaber!
The only fun part of that fact is you just totally made that up. It’s purple because it’s favourite colour and Lucas didn’t want to say No to Samuel L Jackson.
The only times you see his lightsaber is when the camera is already focused on him.

Why do I find this moment so magical? Just as the music builds up, B1 droids start PEW-PEW with their blasters. I LUV IT
Why? Probably because you were a child when you first saw this.
The moment is _Great_

yeah the beast damaged it. good eye .he try to fly away but it only sputtered.
He didn't lose his hand. It was his gun that got cut
@@jacobvelasquez84942:36 That one Jedi who was

Star Wars, I have never seen suffer in the hands of
death by getting shot in the face like that. I've seen stabbing, explosions, decapitation, getting barbecued to death by Force Lightning, and Jedi getting shot by Clone Troopers during Order 66. But never have I seen anyone who dies just by getting shot in the face. Name one time that has never happened. None! Not a single time!
He didn't lose his hand. His blaster only got cut.
He also got the dent in his helmet after being trampled
The battle of Geonosis is one of the best battles in the series! Absolutely love it!

I still remember seeing this in theaters. And I've always loved how Mace Windu enters and lost my shit when I saw a purple lightsaber and seeing all the Jedi fighting together.
I was 5, so it's a blur for me. I have loved this moment, seeing all those Jedi for the first time.
I always loved the part when Mace and Obi Wan both fight side by side and having each other’s backs 🔥🔥
I'm going to assume that they have some sort of bond between the two of them.

In Legends he and Luminara actually paved the way for reinforcements.

it’s crazy how Obiwan had so much trouble with Jango Fett but to Mace Windu he was just one of the battle droids
1:03 So much for “we’re keeper of the peace, not soldiers” huh…
Search up the definition of peacekeeper. Mace saved a senator, and 2 Jedi from execution. This does not make him a soldier.
@@AltSW Very true, but the Jedi charging the droid army like they do is what I meant; that seems a bit more like soldier's work.
@stevenkramer6217 In fairness, the droids are disturbing the peace, they don't exactly have a choice, but to rush into war, if not only to achieve peace by ending the war as fast as possible
At 3:27-3:28 you can see the shadow of Jango fetts severed head fly out of the helmet. To think Jango Fett was a Mandalorian bounty hunter! Waaay before the Mandalorian ever came out!
1:38 Just one swing from a lightsaber to a battle droid was all it took to destroy it while watching it being dismembered into pieces. Talk about awesomeness.
Imagine recreating this battle nowadays. Especially given better direction and editing. Thousands of battle droids, hundreds of Jedi, having Dooku and Jango take down a few. I think the clones against the droids was perfect, but we never saw the full force of what an army of Jedi side by side can do.
Mace Windu: we’re keepers of the peace, not soldiers

Proceeds to disarm and then kill his unarmed opponent
Yeah, the Jedi can be hypocrites sometimes, they think they can justify they're action by saying it's for the "greater good".
Jango wasn’t disarmed.
@@alexdeghost2729 Mace destroyed Jangos Blaster and proceeded to cut his head off. He was unarmed

So awesome 😎😎
Windu was cleverly strategic as he knew Jengo Fett would handle the monster and be weakened from it and then he had the easy opening.
This scene with the droids and Jedi charging at each other reminds me of avengers endgame final battle
Imagine a Boba series with him at Jango’s age here, it would’ve been perfect
Dooku's face when Jango dies, the face of concern for Boba, shows he still has a heart. Deep deep down.
2:55 had that man Jango looking goofy😭😭😭
Looking back on this a lot of years later it just seems unreasonably ridiculous that the Jedi went toe to toe in a blaster battle with droids in an open air arena.

This just shows how powerful and terrifying the droid army actually is with the cis pumping a endless amount of droids into the arena and killing almost all the Jedi in a matter of minutes
The clones coming in is the best scene in all of star wars
when the lego clones are not laughing its bad
At 3:22, Master Windu deflects Jango's first blaster bolt into the battle droid behind him.
We could've had multiple Jedi fight first order stormtroopers back in 2015😢.
If Ben Solo hadn't become Kylo Ren, there probably would be no First Order to begin with. And Luke Skywalker would've had the new Jedi Order built by then.
But NOOOO they had to rehash the original trilogy with Rebels vs Empire 2.0 and one Jedi. BOOOOOOOO!
Tbh Ben solo and Ben Skywalker could've existed in the sequels along with Finn, Rey Solana, Anakin solo Jaina solo, kyp durron, corran horn, Kyle katarn, gungi and other Jedi. Disney would've made so much money from that alone.
Did windu cut off jangos blaster or he ACTUALLY severed his hand? Can anybody tell?
He cut the blaster if u look closely when Jango falls to the ground u can see his hand still there
He just sliced his gun.
He just sliced his blaster. You see his full hand intact when you pause the video as his body falls down. Had Jango's jetpack not been damaged he would have flown away and done more damage during the battle. Only change I wish is we see Jango kill multiple jedi before being taken down by Windu.
2:55 best bounty hunter in the galaxy doesn't just shoot windu right there
So Mace's rather impulsive plan only got a lot of Jedi killed. Good thing he doesn't repeat that mistake in the next movie... oh wait.
Well, they weren’t entirely trusting of the clones at that point.
@@mikenadj.j4355 that's not the point, the point is Mace is an impulsive idiot whose actions cause more problems than they solve.

I know Windu is supposedly really strong, but man Samuel L Jackson does not know how to swing a light saber properly
Bariss Offee in the prequel trilogy, a very minor bit character with two seconds of screentime, where she's out of focus and not even name-dropped
Bariss Offee in expanded material, one of the most important characters in the plot as she drives Ahsoka away which leaves Anakin alone and more open to Palp's manipulation
Jango is so much cooler than Boba.
0:04 for some reason Samuel l Jackson is CGI in this shot

say what you want about this movie. This was a pretty badass entrance performed by the baddest motherfucker on the planet. (pardon my language but this is Sameul L. Jackson we're talking about) I was about 7 when this movie came out, and I remember sitting in the theatre and just thinking "holy shit. These guys are in for it now". This was right before social media so we didn't have to worry about spoilers or leaks. This early 2000s was a time to be a kid. You had the Prequels, you had Lord of the Rings trilogy, the first three Harry Potter movies, Pixar was at its peak. You had the Tobey Mcguire Spiderman and Bryan Singer X-Men trilogies. Wookiepedia literally spoiled The Force Awakens for me. With a big sign in the middle of the screen saying "KYLO REN KILLS HAN SOLO". Still never forgave them for that.

So is Jango’s death technically a war crime since at that point he was defenceless?
i mean he still had his flamethrower, and mace might not have known he couldn't escape with his jetpack
He could've also survived and gotten a robotic hand and come back to start more chaos.
Wasn’t his jetpack broken
@@TallSmart1 Yes but Jango didn't know that. You can see at 3:25, the split second that Mace disarms him, there are sparks coming from the jetpack like he's trying to use it to fly away. He probably didn't realize how badly it had been damaged, and it's unknown if Mace knew either.
