- My initial thoughts of the pocket. Wow, this console does not disappoint! The display makes these old games look new and brings a whole new excitement to collecting for the gameboy handhelds.

I’ve had my black one for a month now (waited 8 months for it to arrive). Absolutely amazing piece of kit. This is definitely the definitive way to play GB/GBC. Replaying Zelda: link’s awakening DX (one of favourite games of all time) and it’s just beautiful. Couldn’t be happier.
for the nostalgia I'd prefer using my SP but cool product if it was cheaper and they did not have shitty marketing tactics
D-pad and buttons on sp are a lot better. I sold my analouge pocket und use sp again.
Ive had mine for 2 years now. Still works great. Buttons are abit shinny though due to wear

Do they have a website for people who live in Canada to buy from and are they safe as this is not a quick money grab or something? Does it come with games installed or do you need to download them yourself? if so where? Also, how do the speakers compare to the GBA SP?
I don't believe they have a specific Canadian website, but in their support section is does say they can ship outside of the US(customs, taxes, and VAT apply and will be at your own expense)
Analogue is an extremely refutable seller and will get you your product, it just depends on how long of a wait you get. (the black and white pockets are almost always out and you need to sign up for the notification to know when you can get yours)
The pocket runs on the cartridges themselves with 0 emulation, I don't remember if it has a emulation function but the main selling point is that you can play on original cartridges.
Yes this thing is a rom beast you can put them on a sd pop the sd in and play your roms that way there are tutorials on how to get rims on it but yea it’s a great device

You should try a orignal game boy game. Like Metroid 2. Will it be black in white or will it have its color palette?
Original GB will be black/white, but you can change settings to add limited colour pallets to them (which are not the same as the GBC colour pallets, it’s new ones for the analogue pocket, 5 settings to choose from. Their is a custom option, but this still has been unlocked yet).
As mention above, it'll still be black and white. There is however, a metroid 2 "color" rom hack that added color to the game.
