You must watch the trilogy... Tale of Jenny & Screech for more of Ren's brilliance. Money Game 1, 2 & 3 too. So much more acoustic stuff, too. Keep going.

Great reaction! The parts of the video with Ren were filmed in Calgary, Canada, and the effects on that footage and the rest of the imagery was created by experienced artist/animator Louis Mardlin, using AI as just one of his varied tools. It is an "AI video" but it was created by a human artist who knows Ren well. 🙂 (Louis also did excellent visualizer/animated videos for many of Ren's older songs like "Diazepam", "Heretic", "Everybody Drops", "Hold On", and more.)
It's been run through AI, but it's a filter on top of the original video. I can recognize a bunch of the locations he's walking in from my city.

The to halves of this song are very different, the first half is produced to perfection, the second half recorded in one single sorrowful night and not reworked at all. There is a 13yo prequel if you will, the song called Freckled Angels from the only 7yo Freckled Angels album. There also is an old live performance of that, and a new live acoustic performance of both called "For Joe" with a Dominoes verse mixed in. They do not hit not as hard as this one does, but are worth a lot for the artistry and way of conveying the message. All are worth reacting to, if you are ever in the mood.
I bawled listening to For Joe, it may have hit me harder than this song did. Both such emotional songs.

Chalk Outlines was brilliant and a totally different style with great vocals. The visuals were done from drawings and painting from fans fed into AI it is brilliant!
Don't worry, Ren has many singing and guitar songs. Most of his recent stuff is hip-hop as he just put out a hip-hop album. Ren has many moods and flavours, so keep going.
As mentioned what you are after is money game 1, 2, and 3, as well as the tale of Jenny and Screech - you have got to do Jenny and Screech in order though. This is the link you need.

Ren has A LOT of acoustic, and a lot of live stuff. He has a couple with Chinchilla that are amazing. (beware though, there are also lyric videos of the same tracks so make sure you click on the live). I would suggest Chalk Outline or the Jenny and Screech tales (must do the full video so make sure it's the official 13 minute video which is basically 3 live videos but must be done together).
The "Money Game" series is really good. Money Game part 1 features the guitarist from the Band Ren is in, The Big Push. It took over 130 attempts to get the entire song in one take.

Okay, I shall be kind. Here are the rules when reacting to Ren:
1. When Ren sings or raps this is the time for you NOT TO TALK!
That is the only rule. You two keep breaking it. Please stop doing that. People will tell me that I don't have to watch you and that is true. I won't be. Ren went through hell to provide us with this amazing music. Don't be disrespectful. If it were not fgor you talking over Ren this would have been a great reaction.
