@11:55 to @12:21 You earned the right to drive by acknowledging Volvo's motorsport pedigree. Volvo achieved significant success in the ETCC during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The Volvo 850 was particularly successful, winning the championship in 1994. And of course, in 1985, “The flying brick” - the Volvo 240 Turbo - won the European Touring Car Championship and the German equivalent, the Deutsche Touringwagen Meisterschaft (DTM).

I have this a couple year old XC60 T6 R-Design Polestar edition with the air suspension and can attest that it's night/day once you switch into performance mode. In comfort, right height 3" higher and softer, it tames NYC city streets no problem. Hit the highway, leave the city, performance is like a different car with minimum body roll, firm but compliant ride, quicker/stiffer steering, and faster braking. I'd say it's underrated but it's won a ton of awards. B&O sound upgrade was worth it as well. It's a real privilege to drive and farrrrrr better than anything else in the class from BMW/Audi/Merc.

By that logic, a 67' Porsche 911, 66' Lancia Fulvia HF, 65' Alfa Romeo Guilia, Aston Martin DB5, DB7, DB9 etc... are ugly? Why can't something that hasn't been redesigned be pretty/beautiful anymore. You can have different tastes, but just because YOU find it hideous, doesn't means it is. Volvo makes beautiful cars that have good quality interiors and ride very well for the demographic they target. I'm 29 and have had 2 Volvos, now a Polestar 2 BST if you want to count it. They have been leagues better in quality and maintenance that the BMW's (2018 M2, and 2017 M440i) and Audi (2009 S5 (never buying Audi again)) that I've owned. I simply find them beautiful in comparison to its competitors (minus Porsche, but I've only owned a 987.1 & now a 987.2, so i cannot compare equally). I mean, look at wtf BMW has done, they (literally) have pig snouts now. I still love the 3 series wagon in certain colors though, only problem, we can't get them in the states... and the M2 is just.... disproportionate to say the least, still look alright, but they fucked up with their redesigned. Only BMW worth taking a 2nd glance at would be a 5 series sedan for me personally. Only b/c it uses the last generation kidney grille.

      Because I'm not a lesbian.
(It'd be fine if I were, and if I were, I'd buy one, but I'm not so I wouldn't.)

Most buyers won't bother plugging this in to get EV benefits. PHEV's teach bad EV practices.

Consumer Reports on their podcast indicated this isn't true. They're finding phev owners are more diligent and mindful of range amd efficiency than standard hybrid owners, and are largely (annoyingly) enthusiastic about plugging in. Otherwise, they wouldn't have bought the phev in the first place and just bought a standard hybrid

That's interesting. Unfortunately, PHEV's teach bad charging practices. Owners charge to 100% and drain the battery to 0%.

It's a good thing that mainstream media is embracing Chinese made EV.

That car looks the same inside and out for at least 5 years now. Still has that old looking stodgy back light design. Dashboard is so old looking, it's ready for the Smithsonian.

Still a good looking vehicle inside and out. I also like the fact it doesn't have one wide screen dash like every car coming out these days. A BMW, kia, chevy all look alike inside. Change for the sake of change doesn't always make sense.

Dont you ever compare this 2 liter plastic crap to the Porsche Macan!!!

This looks 1000 times better than the equally plastic porsche. If you buy a porsche, buy a real one, like a 911, not some SUV crap
