When you fight guardians force pull when they do their laser attack and you can pull an orb out of its body.. makes it 10x easier to kill

Yeah it's a nice little trick with the unblockables
I figured that out myself, though I'm often too slow to pull it off. Though I did use it to defeat Ninth Sister.
Except the game tells you that exact thing,it's not a trick .

I love encountering these shield troopers with machine guns.
I always ignite my double blade and this is where the most satisfying part of the game begins
That force push to counter unblockable basically saved me from the darthomir boss battle and the final second sister boss battle
Yeah it's very handy against tougher enemies
It saves me from rocket launcher troopers
My use with the blade saved me..
hold forward when sliding so you don't go all over the place having to counter steer so much.

I always hug the walls when sliding if there was one but thanks for the tip something like that should be common sense to all of us just think weight shifting & momentum people but sometimes when you are really into the game & having fun you don't think of stuff like that so thanks
The force abilitys are useless at close range when you have multiple enemies around u and the force bar runs out waaaay to quick, and it sux how heavy strikes use force bar
Yeah because of that I tend to not use the heavy strike
Heavy attacks were useful against the Ninth Sister since we didn't have the special saber attacks that we unlock on Illum.
Force abilities like burst slow and the enhanced push are incredible against groups, though it is disappointing that the heavy strike moves consume force power.
True but I don't use force strike often on low enemies. So, use it wisely though. My fav force is the pull force. Probably the best force cuz it solves the problem fast.
Force in this game is created mostly to move blocks or pull lines etc, in combat if you use push or pull that’s kills your nice heavy combos or interrupts with push. To bad that Jedi feels so lame in this game
I think I’m the only person that doesn’t use the double blade saber
I never really used it at all just only for making the videos
It's great for shooting stormtroopers because once you hit a parry, some of the other blaster projectiles will be automaticly parried.
I use the two separate blades
I started a new save and I’m going to only use the single blade on this one

You basically just need to progress in the story and explore a little to get the double blade no matter the planet. Dathomir is the quickest way early on in the game, but the enemies in the path are really tough.
The best thing about the Double Bladed Lightsaber is if you use it to parry a mini gunners blaster bolts itll reflect all of them back at him
Very satisfying to do when a group of stormtroopers are shooting at you and/or you encounter one with a minigun

Very late to the party, but I really appreciate the tips. So many tips/tricks videos are just things like "kill enemies for XP" or other crap you are literally taught in the tutorial, so it is refreshing to see a video that is actual non-obvious tips that can help you in the early game.

after the first mission i went to dathomir right away because i didn’t know what i was doing and got my double bladed saber right off the bat
Yeah I did that same thing on my first playthrough
Grasping Pull is a must-have skill and should be gotten ASAP after you learn Force Pull.
Before I got this skill I would encounter a group of enemies and be afraid of them overwhelming me. But after I got this skill whenever I got this skill I would use GP to pull the closest one to me, insta-kill them, then repeat. If you have enough force (and the Enhanced Force Recovery skill) then you should be able to do this multiple times, turning a group of enemies into a single enemy before any of them can reach you. This skill literally changed how I played the rest of the game.
Chain parry with the double sided lightsaber. Works for lasers and melee attacks. Super helpful

If you have ever played AC Unity especially when it comes to parkour (well, obviously. Its a Assassin's Creed game). You can actually climb up the ledge with style, the way Arno does. Hang onto the ledge first and move the left analog slightly horizontal on the left/right as you are about to climb up. This might be a bit hard to pull off but i've done it multiple times, so its not a glitch. Cal will make a sorta "spinaround climb up ledge". This might be an unpopular trick to say or aware of. As a Assassin Creed fan, Its definitely worth trying out.

Just a little info on the parry info it’s not just parry three time in a row it just all depends on the stamina of said enemy. Bigger enemies, more stamina, more parries needed to drain it and use the special move. Same as if they drain your stamina while you block you can’t block until your stamina is replenished.

Thanks for the tips. I am of the camp of if you struggle at a game then you work and get good. I played dead space endlessly. But I am not used to using slow or push. I am dying so much. I am not used to healing. But I refuse to turn down the difficulty. I really think these tips will help me to get good.😅

I was suprised when I got my double lightsaber on Dathomir. Didn't expect it
Same after the 1st bogano we went straight to Dathomir got it under that one tunnel then work bench
So just subscribed and found you I like how you broke everything down I think what I love most about this game is they make the lightsaber mythical again something of importance threw Cal's crystal and his journey to get it, the quote on quote "villians" raised points I mean I knew their point of veiw but even as Cal you could see in his face that slight doubt of what if they said was true especially with Marcos but I couldn't help but be sucked into it emotionally I havnt truly enjoyed a game for a while untill I played this. I'd have liked to cut troopers into peices but I understand the reason why Disney said no, and thanks to the eu well there are materials that resist lightsabers. What I want to know is the lore of Cal's crystal color's I understand blue green purple and yellow and and I know cyan but indigo and magenta where lost on me though I get personally this pull from cyan to indigo it may just be me here but magenta and purple look the same to me magenta being slightly brighter it's pinkish in some areas, also I guess it was the wording but after beating the story it said its save is before the last level but we can't replay the last level so is it really post holocrons destruction or befor holocron retrieval?

@@GamingWithAbyss that's probobly right on a commercial stand point but I hope they add lore to it I just got the game last Friday so I'm a little sad I don't have orange dispite I wasn't going to use it lol well maybe. Just feels like content I won't have for the game and feels I'll be missing content and collectibles to use at least this is well a full game before dlc and selling half games lol
They might not do a DLC for this game because they're going straight to the sequel or at least that's what I was hearing

You get double bladed from Dathormir too ( that scary place if i remember name right ) and only thing you need is to use your ship to fly there and get it after few mobs and jumps. No special skills needed

Lol yeh I'm just getn into this game as it's feature on ps+. I'm gonna assume when you say frame rate drops you referring to the game freezing momentarily... Toggling the performance mode button greatly helped with the freezing. Thought it sucked a game could even have button dedicated reducing performance but I guess the dev knew they had an issue on their hands

I played the game for the first time on Jedi master and went to dathomir as soon as it unlocked. I soon realized that is was pointless I as I would die left and right
I died a couple of times but I enjoyed the challenge
explore every nook and cranny you can access, and the second you get a new ability explore every nook and cranny that that gives you access to. always go the wrong way first.

I was exactly in that room and didn't mess with that because I was fine with my saber, them I went to Kashyyyk because I only went for the stim canisters on Bogano.
Can you get Slice ability, somewhere else, or is it just in Weathered Monument on Zeffo?
I NEVER KNEW YOU WERE INVINCIBLE WHEN SWITCHING BETWEEN SINGLE AND DOUBLE... I have no idea how useful that is tbh in a playthough though...
Okay finishers are great... but I suck and can barely parry once XD I parry and think i am good..and then get slapped.. and forget every time
Oh those scans.. actually give info on the enemies attack patterns.. thought would just be like "oh this guy is a carnivore, he eats people"
Okay healing.. for people that don't know or get mad at why you don't heal sometimes.. the animation means something XD you have to actually have time to inject yourself with a stim... learned this hard way many times like "I PRESSED HEAL WHY AM I DEAD?!"
That specific tomb guardian... I brute forced my way to a skill point and a half BEFORE i had push... i just realized he was slow and clunky... so killed him few times until i was like "this is not worth is"
Oh..I thought.. resting WAS saving... oof... that would of saved me some time...
You can also get the double bladed saber on kashyk. Just after you are flown up the tree by the shyo bird

I never even realised that you weren’t supposed to get the double bladed saber from Dathomir. I went there first and on every playthrough I always go there first. I never found the enemies to be difficult there, just a little annoying. But I never realised that you were meant to get it much later in the game

i guess getting double bladed lightsaber on bogano is more better for story wise as its a piece of a character's story.
Yes it definitely adds to the story plus it is an easier location to get it from. Dathomir is more challenging but you will be able to get it faster
IMO It's easier to get the double saber from Dathomir, since all you need is Wall Running to get it. By the time you get Force Push and Slice you'll already be more than strong enough to get it at Dathomir.

You can actually break a rage attack by a quick hit too. However a heavy attack won’t stop it

The one on Dathomier isn’t that hard to get. Just run past all the enemies
I disagree as Dathomir, especially on a first play through, is difficult. Dodging some enemies is possible but a safer, yet longer, way is to bait one or two singles and then reflect shots back at some of the 'archers'.
Running past them is asking for trouble when you get to a certain part, having to jump and balance yourself.

Just continue on with the main story you will eventually run into it
You can use force push on a wall in the section right before the that leads to the hanger area
on zeffo, there's a wall you can force push on ur way to the first tomb where there is 2 scouttroopers and 2 stormtroopers, where the turbine guarding a force echo is

It's not that bad but you can't rush through it you need to take your time and you shouldn't have any problems
2:15 how does the lightsaber blade have a shadow? it's a "light" saber right
That's a good point. Even if it is a physical blade it's generating light and shouldn't cast a shadow
try lighting a candle you will notice that its flame has shadow too.

You need either push or pull and since it's red you most likely are missing one of the two
I think this is the more "natural" way to get it rather than Datomir
it is where you're supposed to get it because of the extra dialogue you get

When you get the force push just go back to the weather Monument region. There is a wall that you can force push open and when you go in there you'll get the scope link. Afterwards you can go to bogano and get the double bladed saber

Game sucks once you get your powers the game ends shortly after. No replay with powers at a harder level. Game was kind of fun but no replay value
Yeah it doesn't really have replay value. Hopefully they do add a new game plus but at the moment that's not on the table

The game is fun but even with getting lost on the way back to your ship it's not a long game😞 bout 9-10 hours if you play a ton (with exploring)

Just go to Dathomir first, speed through the map, passing all the baddies, grab the double bladed saber and book it back to the mantis

Exactly what I did. In the starting cutscenes of the game I was searching how to get the double bladed lightsaber. Literally all I cared for at the start of the game. That and it being challenging.

Don't know if it was mentioned, but get the "Powered Zipline/Robot" whatever upgrade BEFORE you go to the Wookie World. Cause if you go the areas where you have to go to find the head Wookie dude, you will apparently get stuck, cause there is only one way out, UP a Zipline, and without the powered zipline upgrade, you're stuck like me, and there apparently is no other way out. I can't even use a cheat to "jump" out, as well a file recovery program didn't find any previous saves. I don't know what to do. I might have to entirely start the game over again, and holy **** I don't want to! HELP!!!

Did you know you don't have to fight Gorgara on Dathomir to get climbing claws? You can just skip out on the boss fight, and you don't have to do anything after that. Return to the mantis, then make your way to the temple where you won't be assaulted by a rock this time. Go inside, meditate, play through Order 66, then break your saber. Go to Ilum and you will notice that the game has already given you climbing claws without fighting Gorgara, as it is necessary to progress. This is an easy way to skip a bossfight. I just found this out the other day and I hope it helps. 😁
Or, you just go to dathomir at the begining and get it there. Without any abilities.
