Everyone needs to try setting negative LOD Bias to CLAMP in Nvidia CP! It doesnt help performance, but it makes it much more sharp while in motion. It made a huge difference for me and everyone i told to try it.
Only use FSR if your CPU can handle the generated frames. Also my game crashes allways i turn on FSR. Now im sitting with DLSS at 50-60 frames but it feels okey with frames
Okay so this FSR technology by AMD is insane. Currently in the base and it nearly doubled my frames from ~60-70 to ~140 on 1440p. Gonna play with it on quality and see how much I can actually notice it while playing in a negative way.
I have a 2070 super and was sitting around 65 -70 fps. I was pretty happy with that but this got me up to 85. Prolly not much more I can ask for without an upgrade but still a huge improvement. The colorblind mode also improves the look by quite a bit
@@Robaldeenyo gave them a try and they seem laggy when you first pull them up but then is fine once you have been ADS for a second or so. Not sure if that’s the game or my rig tbh
@@scott7892 its crazy that frame gen is a recommended setting by the developers for anything under a 40 series gpu, just shows how much optimization they didn't do and are just depending on upscaling to do the work for them
@@cronus5257 If you turn off anti aliasing (via config, no options) you will see all the shadows and edges render with checkerboarding and temporally, the game is designed to only work with upscaling tech which will smooth out those checkerboards, even with that it can barely run and it will always look blurry by design due to this.

Originally on DLSS I can barely get 70 frames all on low settings, then I'm now able to get everything on high with FSR set the quality and I'm getting averaging about 100 to 125 frames. All this on a 3080 Ti and a 12,700K
The bushes flicker on "quality" and dont flicker on "native AA" dont want distractions in forest firefight but i lose 10 fps (to 50) on native AA ...idk if thats better than 60 with flickering foliage
Man, I want to love this game so bad. I played for like 8 hours yesterday (day 1) and loved it; I was holding a consistent 45-50 fps with everything on medium. I don’t know if anything changed overnight, but today I’ve been running everything on low and can’t get more than 15-20fps with EXTREME input lag, no matter what I do. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as verifying game files. Not sure what’s going on but I might have to leave it alone until a performance hotfix drops. For what it’s worth, I’m running a 10600k and a 3070ti, so while my system isn’t god-tier, it definitely shouldn’t be underperforming. Kind of frustrating that I can run Cyberpunk at 1440 45fps with ray tracing on but not this game. I know it’s an early access game, I’m honestly not upset at all, I just wish it was a bit more optimized. I might play less until a hotfix comes, but I am still very very excited for the future of this game

Something you don’t want to hear dude. You need to upgrade if you want more consistent performance. People keep saying a 30 series is solid. Truth is it’s not for newer games coming out and inflation if crazy for everyone one. Truth is you either upgrade or deal with what you got because I’m running on a 4090 and I have a consistent 130 FPS. Game is amazing for early access and unfortunately lower end spec users are review binning this great game

It's simple: RTX 40xx GPU - Use DLSS because of DLSS Frame Generation (RTX 30xx Cards don't have DLSS Frame Generation as far as i know :( ) RTX 30xx GPU - Use DLSS and play with low FPS or use FSR and get more FPS but huge Input Lag because of FSR Frame Generation What works quiet good for me: Upscaling: TSR Low Latency: Frame Generation: Off Super Resolution: Performance I get not the best FPS but it is very playable My PC: RTX 3070 and 5800x

We have the same build aside from the i9 (i have 13600k) no problem when switching from fsr to dlss vice versa. I heard there were issues of crashing on i9 13/14th gen users.
Frame gen always adds significant latency. If your performance is already subpar that's the last thing you want to do ... I personally wouldn't ever use it as I'll always take lower latency over extra fake frames. NTM he doesn't even show what DLSS setting is being used as it's set to auto. I'd just run a more aggressive DLSS setting with no frame gen if I were on a 30 series card. If I was on an AMD card I would run FSR (but again no frame gen). Your FPS counter might not look as good but the game will run better in reality.
I have a 4070 and an i9 12900f and the game is on a nvme SSD. My monitor is a 4k samsung oddessy and on this game in particular 1440p looks horrible on it. Games like rainbow six and tarkov look the same even on 1440p but this game is a blurry mess on that resolution
@potato4166 I have been and the fps counter is smooth around 80 fps but I think the servers are dogwater cant tell if im stuttering or rubber banding cuz of the servers
@MirzaBirza715 run a mix of medium and low settings based on this vid. And dlss balanced mode. Should be nice and smooth just server rubber banding is very annoying.
A steady 50 FPS on Native AA is what i settled for. The game looks great. Very detailed & colourful. Forest looks stable rather than a flickering, jittering mess. Found the perfect balance 👌🏼 Ty
It's a somewhat older way people were trained to hold firearms, where your elbow of your supporting arm should always be parallel to the ground. I mean, bio-mechanically, it is IRL, a very nice way to control more recoil, but that aggressive kind of C-clamp grip isn't often actually adhered to by many shooters these days, especially since M4/AR platforms have essentially no recoil to begin with, only muzzle flip. The guy who advised the devs on firearms was a former Czech SOF guy.

Tarkov runs a lot better compared to this games performance for my RX 570. I walked onto the heli from base which I only get 20-30 frames looking forward while looking down for 40 fps. Gonna have to let them put the game back into the oven for at least until my refund period ends

If I put FSR I have 60 fps but it feels like 15, but if I put DLSS I have 30 but it feels like 45.

Absolut Banger of a Video, great tip with the FSR. Boosted my fps from 50 to 80
FOV lower is so much better 50-55 is great, FSR is fuzzy and blurry but does give a big fps improvement

FSR frame gen should be a last resort, it causes HUGE input lag. Try with no upscaling or DLSS and compare the difference.
Use it without low latenzy Mode. Low latenzy Mode cause increased input lag for some reason

It's separate from the built in amd frame generation and this game is unplayable without it on for 95 percent or more of players

Having the minimum stuff they recommended to run this game really is rough.
Well the hot fix turned on fsr by default and i turned up sharpening a lot. thats it and im running fine and it looks great.

yeah because you also have frame generation enabled, which is increasing your input lag like hell.. DLSS gives far better image on quality than FSR

play it on 4k than, 4070 should be enough to run high/epic if you have DLSS and frame gen on

Fsr has a known issue with causing crashes with nvidia users. Try using dlss auto or performance
