The reason for different speeds while casting is because the way the card resolves varies, for example, take Cauldron Familiar, it says basically "sacrifice a food: revive the cat", it means that any time you can do it, you pay the cost and it comes back, but it's because of an ability, when it comes to the Undead Sprinter, it lets you cast it, but becase the clause for casting is neither a trigger nor an ability, it doesn't use it's own timing, rather it uses the same casting speed as normal, because when the revive effect is done via a trigger or an ability, you HAVE to do it at the moment of using the ability or trigger, so you can miss the timing if you screw up, the Undead Sprinter can't really miss timing since you can only cast it during your main phase or second main phase.
Playing mono blue flash/ counter draw. I just lost to mono red by drawing 13 lands to 9 spells in a 24 land deck! I drew 2 cards per round and got out valued by freaking mono red as the value deck with 4 lands in hand! I have no idea what they did with the algorithm but I have been hitting non stop weird land pockets in my midrange decks for the last couple of days.
People nerd to realize the right in this game is rigged to make you win or lose according to the metrics they consider "best" for engagement and spending

Ypu sacced the critter in the first game instead of just the cursed role token when you used final vengeNce on the void wing ...you can just sac the enchantment

So glad it’s not just me. Hitting like 4/6 lands way too often recently and 5 in a row has happened more than is feasible
