I just failed my very first exam in college which was my first biology exam and I’m still freaking out about it so I am binge watching some of these videos right now. I’m so worried about the rest of the semester. 😭
Hey Kim! If it makes you feel better, that's a really common thing that students go through when transitioning to university! I remember barely passing my chemistry exams in first year! So important to pick up new study techniques to learn more efficiently! Hope the rest of the semester is better for you ❤️

The importance of skimming concepts for big picture ideas is so important for learning and has been proven with research so I'm glad you included that!

Do you have any recommendations on where to find college bio practice tests
I would first recommend to ask your professors. Many of them are willing to share past exams to help prepare (and these questions will most likely look like the one you're going to take). If they're not willing to, then I would say to look for practice questions in the textbook that you are assigned for that course. The textbook should closely follow the material you are learning in class so the questions are most relevant to you.
If you've tried both two options, I would say to try googling it to see if the faculty has posted any practice tests. There are also practice questions by learning platforms like Khan Academy or Osmosis that are helpful too!
Honestly, the best form of studying is to create questions from the material that you are taught and answering them yourself. This way, you rely on active recall and you are forced to figure out what material in the book with worth asking questions about (and what kinds of questions your profs can ask)!
