I listened to this for five minutes and ran to my son so he could hear it. He has colorectal cancer and is 24 years old. He had a rough night enduring his first chemo treatment. As soon as I turned it on he grinned a VERY large smile and gave me a thumbs up. Thanks Tommy for your beautiful music(and for you.)

Having spent a few minutes backstage with Tommy I can assure you he is as gracious and kind as he appears in his videos. He is a veritable ambassador for the guitar, spreading his knowledge and talent worldwide. I was convinced he had freakish long fingers to make the reaches he does, however, a photo taken of his hand pressed against mine for comparison proves his fingers were exactly the same length as my average size fingers. He freely offered advice to me that simply practicing the lengthy stretches will in a short amount of time you will make reaches I never thought possible. He was so right. In just two weeks of diligent practicing I really could make the stretches I thought were impossible. Bless you Tommy for changing my life with the guitar. My hero!!
You are 1000%. The guy is beyond humble and ALWAYS willing to share his knowledge, experience, time and graciousness with ANYONE. Amazing player and more of an amazing person.

Hi Tommy. Gaz here from the 'Yarra Valley' in AUS. I've been a big fan of your stuff since I first saw you play live. I first saw you play in a pub in Kew with Phil & Goldrush. That blew me away!. Especially beacuse you mainly played drums, while Phil took the guitar spot. (Still have & luv that LP). Saw you play also at a Fermtree Gully pub as the guitarist with John Farnham. The version of 'Hollywood Nights' was scary. It made Bob Seger's song launch into a different stratosphere! Saw you solo live later, with my wife, in a tiny local 40 seat theatre in Warburton, near where I live. We were only 10 feet away in the front row.... You amazed us by your humanity & jokes, your stories & intros. I'm so lucky. That's just a few of the stories. Thanks Tommy. Still luv ya & always will GAZ (Don Valley/Australia)

I am so grateful, I watched Tommy five years ago when I first started guitar,he gave a beginner good advice, if you are new at guitar this is what you want to play guitar like but don’t expect it be happy with what you achieve,if practice is not fun then make it fun,I have noticed Tommy seams like he is having a good time in every video I ever watched of him.
So grateful that you played my wife song the other night when you were in Boise! Best 30th anniversary present I could’ve given her! She loves Somewhere Over the Rainbow and nobody does it better! It was great to talk to you again, sir once again, lots of us show up thinking we’re guitar players, but when we leave, we all just have to practice! Thanks for the inspiration!
