Thanks for creating this video. Metal Gear Solid is my favorite game franchise of all time. Especially snake eater. It will always be my favorite game ever.
The video comparison seems fake in my opinion because it is shown in the same frame rate. We know that the HD collection on the PS3 run at 60fps and we also know that the Switch version runs at 30fps. Yet in this comparison both games have a matching frame rate.
I don't care what people say im grinding the money to get these games these games look fun and thats all that matters idc about how well it runs or how it looks
The switch version not only runs at 30fps instead of 60fps but also has worst anti-aliasing. It looks like a very rushed port. As always Konami put very little budget in the making of this compilation, MGS deserve better.
It seems like Konami gathering money for MGS3 Delta, using nostalgic players to buy half-baked сrap. Goddamn, with a gems like Quake 2 Remaster in 2023, this MGS3 for Switch looks like a spitting in the face.
@@MadDjentah I totally agree that's exactly it. Even MGS1 looks crap, it's just straight basic emulation without any improvements at all, you can get way better results using the Duckstation emulator on pc. God I wish all ports were as good (and cheap) as Quake 2

Your comment contains two inaccuracies and, as a consequence, does not make any sense. The first false claim that you make in your comment is that Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - Master Collection Version is a remaster. This is incorrect. The game is simply a port of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - HD Edition and will be released on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows (Steam) this October. It will also be released on the PlayStation 4 at a later date, which is yet to be announced by Konami. The second false claim that you make is that MGS3:HD is the original version of the game. This is also incorrect. The original version of the game, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, was initially released for the PlayStation 2 in 2004. MGS3:HD, on the other hand, is a remastered version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence on the PS2 and was initially released in late 2011 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. Although bear in mind that MGS3:HD does not include all the additional features that were included in MGS3:S, which was an expanded re-release of MGS3 (the original version of the game). In the video above, the visuals of MGS3:MC on the Switch are being compared to those of MGS3:HD on the PS3, and given that MGS3:MC is a port of MGS3:HD, they should look fairly similar, and they do. The only notable difference between the two games is that MGS3:MC on the Switch runs at 30 frames per second, whereas MGS3:HD on the PS3 runs at 60 FPS. The reason why MGS3:MC only runs at 30 FPS on the Switch instead of running at 60 FPS, like it does on all the other platforms that the game will be released on, seems to be because of hardware limitations related to the Switch's architecture, even though in terms of raw processing power the Switch is actually far more powerful than the PS3 is. I hope I have cleared everything up for you now.
