The 3DS version of the play video is not the actual device. Due to hardware limitations, the actual machine usually runs at 20fps to 15fps, but during cutscenes it is designed with a variable frame rate, and the fact that it runs at 60fps on the emulator should be taken into account. And is the 3DS version inferior to other versions? The graphics are rather improved with specular, bump map, and self-shadowing applied to character models, and elements that did not exist in the original version, such as mid-back movement and gyro controls, have been added, making it practically a remake of the original. However, I wanted something to be done about this too-low frame rate. The tech demo before the console's release was running at a stable 30 fps...
Bro, the Switch was such a genius move by Nintendo. And to think, this was them scrambling to recover from thr Wii U failure mid-generation. The Wii U's failure may have been the best thing to happen to Nintendo. It goes to show how failure can be one of the most important things to ever happen to you. Good video
I been recently playing the 3DS version. Outside of the unstable frame rate when you play the game on an actual 3DS it's looks pretty stunning on its 3 inch screen. The only downside being that the game was originally designed to be played on a big screen in mind so certain things like getting a head shot or using sights are a little harder to pull off on the 3DS smaller screen.
Hi! I am aware that literally no one else will ever ask for this game, but could you do a comparison for "Guardians of Ga'Hoole"? That game is my childhood! ^^
The way that you compare all versions is unfair to the ps2. I played this game back then and in my old tv the image quality was pretty much the same as Nintendo switch version
The 3DS version seemed so impressive for the time.
No
Yes
MGS 3 on the go , Ya is super cool
Yea, and it got improvements like crouch-walk and gyroscope aiming. Besides de unstable framework it’s still awesome
15fps slideshow framerate for the win
I do have this on PlayStation 2.
I remember hearing about it coming to Switch originally.
I never knew until now that it exists on 3DS.

I remember all these games
The 3ds cutscenes was running 10fps unless u use emulator
So cool to have Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater on Nintendo systems

Very true the switch is like the Wii U went super saiyan and saved the day.
Thx for this bro ❤ U r my man 💪

I like all the versions but the only thing i hate its the 3ds version being 15fps
Honestly, is that ran at 20 fps, the 3ds would be begging for mercy
@@dogevoadoriii yup
It doesnt run at 15 fps
@@oddfox6776 some ppls said it does
@@oddfox6776 it runs at 15-20 FPS
Compare PS3 version and you will see that Switch one is crap.
No duh. 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah "duh"
Regardless of its graphics Ps2 was and still is a legendary console ❤️
3DS textures worse than PS2 lmao. And people claimed the 3DS is more capable than Wii or original Xbox.
Ugh why did I delete my Snake eater demo on 3DS😤
I still have mine installed got 23 uses left it says
Nintendo Switch resolution is only 720p even in docked mode.
Still the best PS2 version, amazing! 👍

PSVita and PS3?
Can you add psvita version? Some Say it runs better then switch version
Sad that the switch can only keep up with yesterday’s graphics
For this game, it’s not that the switch isn’t capable enough, it is that the developers are too lazy to optimize these games for this hardware.
@@SupGuysItsFaulkFilms I’m sure! I’ll still take it though! 🤣🤣
Switch version looks amazing!! Don’t see why it’s taking so much unnecessary heat!!
Haters gonna hate
It’s because the switch version is a port of the PS3 HD edition, that’s why people are hating on it
U could have put the ps2 version on substance
Perfect💙❤👍👍
Graphics PS2 were ahead of the time. Switch in comparison is really dissappointing and it runs somehow worse despite being more powerful.
3ds es fenomenal ..👍👍👍👍
3ds aim wespon like peacewalker
PS vita
The Switch version is not 1080p but only 720P just as the PS5 and Xbox versions.
Like ❤
