The fingerings...are they standard for this version? I tried their Bb version out and wow, you had to hold down the 4th valve in combination with others...not standard Bb fingerings. Nothing said about that in Schiller or Jim Laab advertising.
Ya this one had normal F/Eb fingerings. I wouldn't be surprised if a rotor got flipped on your model or something like that. Or possibly that it wasn't actually a Bb version. You never know with these things
4th valve drops pitch 5 half steps like 1st+3rd. So if it's an F horn, 4th valve pressed would put you in the right register to play like a Bb horn with the 3 main valves. Think of it like descending below the low Bb on a BBb horn... like if you want to hit a really low Eb (5th ledger line down), then it's 4th+1st instead of just 1st.
They actually make excellent full size tubas and euphonium. I am very happy with my Fedtivo euphonium.
Its so cute!! I would love to play that xD
It looks easy I play a full sized tuba but I also have one of those mini ones so yeah
Where did you buy this Tuba?
Nice!
Is there one in the key of Bb?

How much??
3:57 Johannes Rochut Melodious Etude No. 2.
I recognized that immediately too. I've played that more times than I care to count.
Ok
Very interessant!
Sounds very stuffy but i guess it's to be expected
i guess with a trombone mouthpiece it would better, specially the low tones.
These huge tuba pot is too much for the tiny little tube.
Good idea
Maybe a euphonium mouthpiece instead, just to keep a warmer tone.
vocalise, nice
It's about the size of my Indian euphonium.
Bro forgor about Wessex.
