You have granted my wish to hear a good player demo this horn. Now I'm definitely going to get one. Wasn't sure before because all of the video demos had awful tuba players. Now I see what it can do and really want one. I want the bell front jazz version. Thanks.
@@Toobalicious1 that's helpful thank you. been looking for something to practice on while living with six people in a small house. It would be nice if it were also capable of occasional performances like Christmas caroling or duets or quartets with friends but i guess i can't have everything ... i love that's it's portable
@@amphidory7600 It would do well in a small ensemble. Just not ideal as the only tuba in a large band. Not sure if the practice mute is included but the brand is Wallace.
@@amphidory7600 I can see this working in chamber settings and small brass ensembles. Would definitely be suited for carrying around to go caroling. The original tournister instruments (backpack instruments) used in military bands about a hundred years ago were designed to be carried easily and played while on the move.

So nice! And, I want a horn like that.
Beautiful
That was Awesome!!
do you like your tornister?
I do really enjoy it. Not particularly a performance instrument but perfect for silent practice as well as travel.

@@OCON06 but also had 4-5 times as many in the band as they would otherwise have had with a more traditionally formatted horn.
Where did you find the music for this?
Malachi Patterson I didn’t, just found a good key for the tune on that horn.
a question, since u got xperience with tornister, with is your opinion onf the Schiller Poterman c tuba, a copy of the one u got?
I’ve never seen the Schiller in person (or another Wessex for that matter) but I’d imagine they’re extremely comparable.
They’re the same instrument made in the same factory. Wessex does more QA than Schiller.
