Why not? I believe this is LFM market check before AC2 releases. If they will have a solid AC community and servers setup, then future migration to AC2 will be easier.
Are the servers located in Europe? From memory this is what put me off LFM for ACC as my ping was terrible down in NZ and ACC doesn't have the same sort of approach as iRacing does so I'd get a lot more opponents warping and jumping around a bit (yes I know that the iRacing approach comes with its own potential issues but I generally find that approach works better with you have people with a large geographic spread).
i had races like this for 10 years you just raced on the expensive sim lol. and the mx5 is h patten with a clutch. most server s are smooth plus we get wsc60s at 60s spa and le mans,m with csp and pure lastest and the right pp phillter it looks amazzing
I've been racing ACC, RF2 and AC on LFM now and I must say the driving standards are far worse in AC than the other 2 ime. I believe that more non simracers (or at least less serious simracers) play AC, cruising around on the highway/country road and now they want to try out the new shiny. I'm sure this will get better as people starting to reach their true rating.
A lot of people rightfully talk about graphics customization with SOL, CSP and so on... BUT : to anyone new to AC reading this, you can also personalize your HUD almost infinitely with mods! They are called apps, and you can find some very useful ones on racedepartment and the likes, for free. Better dashboard, relative timetable, rankings table, Helicorsa (radar) HUD, a fuel calculator, a tyre app... You name it, it exists. And you can simply show / hide them and move them around with your mouse while ingame, to have a fully personalized layout. Also, if you fancy a little coding, it's all python so you can code them aswell.
Someone shared during the session a very good setup (yes that's possible in AC without leaving the server) and it was a huge difference to the generic one!
I've been waiting for an alternative to iRacing for so long, tried ACC and rf2 on LFM but just didn't appeal to me........ OG AC has been great so far, future looks good
i´ve been on iracing for a year now. i tryed AC and i was mind blown. The force feedback on this game is incredible!!! i find iracing Dull and boring now. i junt cant get back to it. AC has amazing phisics and Force Feedback. TRY IT!
For me I only really have the time (and effort) to spend and get good at one sim and I'm already there with iRacing so as much as I want iRacing to get some decent competition I can really only imagine jumping ship if some new state of the art sim came out and iRacing died overnight if that makes any sense!
The pass at 4:55 was pure chess grandmaster stuff. Sim looks amazing but I'm pretty sure iRacing would have ripped a wheel off the way everyone was hitting that chicane :) Awesome vid!
iRacing would have DQ'd him for all the cuts! I was wondering how people were so much faster than the iRacing times, its partly because they can just drive through that chicane I reckon.
Absolutely...ACC and AC's graphics are amazing with or without reshade. Its great to see AC get the LFM treatment. Weird/interesting combos incoming?@@mikecroshaw9233

i had races like this for 10 years you just raced on the expensive sim lol. and the mx5 is h patten with a clutch. most server s are smooth plus we get wsc60s at 60s spa and le mans,m with csp and pure lastest and the right pp phillter it looks amazzing
december 2014... I bought it in Early Access though, so it should be around 10 years in my library
Try World Sim Series for AC you wont be disappointed
Rennsport should consider linking up with LFM
Anyone have the links and how to install this?
I haven’t had AC on my PC in almost a year. I forgot how to find and install mods.
Lovin' the Charlie Brown christmas tree in the background lol
i found the ffb in the mazda pretty awesome, lets you know exactly how much and when to push... my 2 cents
Yup, as long as you get a good profile set up for your wheel it’s awesome
Someone shared during the session a very good setup (yes that's possible in AC without leaving the server) and it was a huge difference to the generic one!
Did you use the H shifter or auto clutch?
What do the cones on the curbs mean, apexs?
Week 13 is a good time to give it a chance.
good to know about have to join when i get my sim back
I think this is just LFM getting ready for AC2, making sure they are first out the gate with 3rd party ranked racing.
Would love to see a TA2 series on LFM.
Your shader looks incredibly good. Very natural! Which one is it?
It's the custom shader patch with sol 👍
Group C races would be great
0:52 Assetto Corsa is always labeled as an "old" simulator, but iRacing is from 2008.
Idk =/ I gave it a shot last night and yes LFM has more drivers but AC isn't the same after I've been grinding in AMS2.
=/
AC for me is all about togues and highway cruising
looked great Dave :)
Having said that, graphics are actually nicer than iRacing with CSP/Pure.
Absolutely...ACC and AC's graphics are amazing with or without reshade. Its great to see AC get the LFM treatment. Weird/interesting combos incoming?@@mikecroshaw9233
Just arrived home, time for another race video 😊
I hope you will check WSS and find even much more :)
I wish the MX5 sounded like this in iRacing. The iRacing MX5 sounds terrible in comparison.
I use g29 and raced on lime rock. Its was tough with skipped ffb😂
Just wondering, what steering angle are you using in assetto corsa? Like 900 oe lower?
Thanks in advance already and hope you have a nice day of you.
I use 900 😁
No clutch?
Good ole Assetto kerbsa
I bought the game and have never played it but it looks really good
Just got back into sims and playing against AI in ams2 atm, think I'm gonna install AC and give this a go
If you like ac on lfm, you will love it on Worldsimseries ❤️
This is a game changer!
FFB on Mazda maybe is rubbish for you because you don`t have proper settings for your wheel base .
Quite possibly. I'll tinker 😁
Week 13 in iracing is here. Rather try this out for a week to see if its worth my time.
Loving it!!!❤ Iracing is over! Just canceled my subscription 😊
ac1 dead i don't think so tho i not a user it has on average 12000 people active ... but like u i never got into it as there was acc online racing to be had so it'l be nice to try this on lfm as for looks n sounds it as good as iracer maybe better as i hated that polystyrene sound of the car engines in iracing to the point that it was sickly n then the cars doing giant bunny hops cos of the server lag....just glad i didn't pay for the subscription as it would of been a major blooper affair. anyhow thanks for bringing this to our attention n Kudos to LFM.
Did you never play SimRacing System.
I signed up but never actually raced.
