@A Flores Funfact. In Germany you just need your A-levels and can apply to med school after it. You’ll just have 6 years instead of the typical 3-4(?)yrs in the US/ Canada

There is all year to decide. I hope you have your surgery rotation first so you don't lose interest. I had Surgery first-Med-Peds-Obgyn-Psych. So many times a clerkship interest or field of interest depends on the staff and if they run a good rotation. I picked Family Practice because it involved everything including some surgical procedures. So if you don't like the Surgery staff, and not be like me, where I preferred other staff...FP can be a fallback, because you can do surgery in FP and it is acceptable for the specialty. Boo-I have USMLE 3 still so I am still reviewing all of the same topics from those clerkships. If you can-try to stay away from administrative staff, eg the residents, attending are usually the determinants of clerkship evaluations etc. Other people at lectures don't matter very much though. I missed too many lectures and they didn't like that either

Can you clarify what are CBL’s you stated that a couple of times. You currently don’t have a bachelors degree. How are you able to attend medical school without a valid degree. I am just trying to understand the requirements for Canadian schools. This is all new to me . I am a Neurosurgeon never heard of this before. As my niece came across your video on youtube. So I am trying to clarify some of your remarks for her. Thank you.
HS G in some countries you don‘t need that. There are other ways to get into medical school like tests, good grades in high school, work experience in other medical fields etc.
I thought you needed a bachelors degree to be in Medical school? You said that you don’t have a bachelors degree. Are you in a certain program that doesn’t require a bachelors degree?
Karen Washington I think for certain medical schools in Canada, they have a caveat where if you did really well in the MCAT and are in your 3rd year of your Bachelor’s, that you can get accepted to medical school!
I believe in Canada (where she’s from) there are certain medical schools that only require 90 credits which can be done in 3 years so you don’t need to complete the 4 yrs and get a bachelors

Most people do a bachelors but some schools will accept with 90 credits (3 years of an undergraduate degree)! That’s what I did
