Same lol. I literally watched this vid when I was preparing for my interview in nursing back in 2019. Rewatching it now because I have an interview tomorrow for my medical school application haha
share ko lang, bago ako mainterview dun sa dream med school sobrang nagprepare talaga ako para sa interview. pero pagdating ko dun ang katangi tangi lang tinanong sa akin "What happened to your NMAT score?" un ung katangi tanging tanong na di ko napaghandaan at to be honest ung nmat score ko hindi mataas. Kaya sobrang caught off guard ako sa tanong na yun. Pero ang ginawa ko, naging totoo ako bakit ganun ung nangyare. Tapos sabi nung interviewer sa akin pagkatapos ng interview, I have good grades(saktohan lang naman, hindi ung bonggang taas) naman daw and I handled the situation maturely daw. Tapos un miraculously, tinanggap nila ako. Kaya guys, dun sa mga medyo nagiging hopeless dahil sa NMAT niyo, pakita niyo na kakayanin niyo and ang interview ang pwedeng pang redeem sa sarili mo. But siyempre ayun galingan na lang talaga sa NMAT para at least higher chances of winning. The best ka talaga mag advice Doc Aura!

Right then and there, I was thinking that I screwed up my interview but fortunately I was accepted. And now I'm a 3rd yr medical student. A struggling one hahaha Hoping to be a clerk this june 2019 🙂
@Olivia Khalifa well of course I answered honestly. ●I've tried cheating but not in a major exam. ●I won't tolerate my bff's cheating behavior cause it won't only affect her but also the whole batch if he/she is caught. Cheating is a no no in medschool. Once you've entered medschool you are already preparing yourself to treat a person, may it be a simple cough or a life-threatening MI. How will you learn how to properly and correctly treat your patients if you cheat your diploma and license? You can't cheat while treating your patients.
Even though I'm thinking of becoming a doctor in the future since im going to be a senior after my 10th grade is done, I'm getting ready unless I did become a doctor in the future xD

Nung ininterview ako sa PLM, akala ko sobrang prepared ko na. Alam ko yung common questions at may prepared answers ako, saka marami sa feedback ng past interviewees na nagsasabi na chill lang daw yung interview. Tapos nung pagpunta ko dun, yung bungad sakin ng interviewer kailangan daw na pure english yung sagot ko, pero yung prepared answers ko ay in tagalog kasi dun ako komportable. Tapos hindi basic questions ang tinanong sakin, ang natanong lang ata sakin na masasabing basic ques ay ano daw weakness ko. Yung tinanong sakin ano raw balak ko pag naging doktor na ko. Ang sabi ko ata nun gusto ko magpedia. Tapos sabi niya tapos? sabi ko interested din ako sa rad onco. Tapos sabi niya tapos? sabi ko magtatrabaho ko sa public hospital sana kasi gusto ko magserve at makatulong sa maraming tao. Tapos sabi niya, ano na raw next dun. Sabi ko patuloy ako kako magsserve. Tapos sabi niya ano raw b sa tingin ko ang ending ng pagiging doktor? sabi ko para sa akin walang ending, kasi ang pagiging doktor ay lifelong na trabaho at passion or something, tapos sabi niya meron daw. Hindi ko alam na meron huhuhu, tapos pinipilit ko na para sa akin hindi titigil ang trabaho mo bilang doktor kasi di naman mauubos ang may sakit HAHAHAHAHA. Tapos abi niya, ang goal daw ay maging public servant, mga leaders sa healthcare, mga health policy maker etc etc. Tapos sabi ko ata "ah...ok po..." Kasi daw ang mga PLM students ay ang goal daw nila a maging leaders ganyan. Marami pa siya sinabi, pero di ko na maalala. Ang naaalala ko lang umuwi ako na nanlulumo na isip ko 'ah wala na to' tapos pag naiiisip ko yung mga sinabi ko nung nasa bahay na ko, sobraaaanggg aaaarrghhh. HAHAHAHA pero ayun, nakapasa naman and incoming 1st year na ko ngayon. Good luck sa mga next batch ng applicants, wag kayo gagaya sakin, maghanda kayo sa mga unexpected na tanong at situations 😅😅😅

DoktAURA it’s called LEAPMed po, a new double-degree program na ii-implement palang next acad year. 6 years in total, 2 years of pre-med and 4 yrs of med school. Medyo rigorous po yung screening process pero we managed to survive!!
andrea umali may added exam po sa ustet, tapos from those results, ina-narrow down to 200, tapos may psych exam and interviews pa to screen hanggang maging 90 regarding po sa tuition, hindi ko pa po alam, di pa po kami na inform talaga about specific details nung program hahahaha
if you'll get interviewed is it required to speak english? i mean you have to speak English all the way?.. I'm worried because I'm not the fluent speaking in English specially in actual interview.

Tip: Familiarize your answers with honesty and vulnerability but of course, filter some of the negatives. Only some.

DoktAURA it’s called LEAPMed po, a new double-degree program na ii-implement palang next acad year. 6 years in total, 2 years of pre-med and 4 yrs of med school. Medyo rigorous po yung screening process pero we managed to survive!!
andrea umali may added exam po sa ustet, tapos from those results, ina-narrow down to 200, tapos may psych exam and interviews pa to screen hanggang maging 90
regarding po sa tuition, hindi ko pa po alam, di pa po kami na inform talaga about specific details nung program hahahaha
