Hi Carrie! I am a long time follower from the Netherlands. I find these videos extremely helpfull. I am 30 and a mother to 2 beautifull children and have a lovely husband and have also a parttime job in a daycare but hope to go back to my passion as a speech therapist. As you might can imagine i feel completely overwhelmed and stressed out sometimes. Watching these videos helps me make my health and mental health a priority again. I am loving this series! Last night I actually wrote down an evening routine, and stuck to it, and it felt great! I enjoyed my bath while listening to music as soon as I got home from work, then I did some yin yoga, wrote in my journal, read a book and fell asleep

Hi Carrie I did a lot of housework today and now I am going to take a warm bath and use My perfumed stems diffuser as I bathe. Then I am going to soak my feet in a foot spa with bubbles and heat for my plantar fasciitis. Need to unwind and relax . I really look forward to your videos. Thank you for taking the time to do them. It shows that you care about us. And that makes me feel special

My friend just recently introduced me to the "lay down shower." It is exactly how it sounds. Turn the shower on to a higher than normal temp, and lay down. Adjust the water and shower spout to your own comfort. I know it may sound a lil weird but I find it's pretty magical :)

Weeeell, I like to switch things up every night. Some nights I make craft, decorations for my home, other nights I'm practicing the guitar, or writing a new song, I may do yoga or run, depends on what my soul asks for.
Tonight I took big part of my closet and donated it. I need to get rid of a lot of clothes, I started feeling suffocated.

Thanks for sharing!! Sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves because we're so caught up in taking care of EVERYTHING else. I personally enjoy using a diffuser at night with lavender essential oil to help continue the relaxation after a nice hot shower. You can use any essential oil you like btw. It helps me get to sleep quickly❤

I'm trying to meditate two meditations of Reiki practice every evening before going to bed (I have a Master of Reiki level) .
I believe meditation is also a good way to finish your day and to relax.
I also trying to keep my phone off my hands for 1-1.5 hours before sleeping.
But should try harder 🤣

I highly recommend the cookbook "Dinner" by Melissa Clark. As you'd expect, it's just dinner recipes, and most are easily divisible down to a meal for 1, plus one day's leftovers. Plus, the pictures are divine.

Yaaaasss cooking and music is so bomb at the end of the day. I always have to clean my room because in the morning before work all I have to do is make the bed and go to work... Then when u get home its like, ahhhh..... Peace 😭
