Sorry for the delay in getting back to you! Based on the banking info, we spent £104.55 for the whole trip for two passengers. Hopefully, that helps! 👍 Thanks for watching!
Hi there guys, I’m from malaysia here, maybe planning to go to Rovaniemi for solo travelling since I haven’t been travel for 2 years. Few questions here: 1. May I ask that if I’m travelling to Finland with just cash without any debit or credit card , would it be ok? As I’m just a teenager, just travelling with cash , haven’t own a debit or credit card yet. 2. What type of buses u can get from Rovaniemi airport to Rovaniemi city ? Also I saw the Airport express buses has been temporarily halted their operations too . 3. If I on board the bus in Rovaniemi like example from Rovaniemi bus station to the Arctic glass igloo village bus station , can I pay with cash directly to the driver , without using any credit or debit card?
Hey fellow Traveller 👋 Sorry we haven't responded back sooner! First off we spent like 3 weeks in KL and loved every bit of it 😁👍 I may not have the best information you need but I'll do my best to answer. 1. Cash is not a problem buses, trains etc all have kiosks that accept cash. Not sure how the airlines might behave with your age "solo travelling teenager" my bet is the flights will be yours hardest obstacle to overcome. Just be aware that if you don't book your tickets at the kiosks within the normal working hours of the week then you'll be out of luck because unlike booking online with a card, people at kiosks actually switch off and go home 😄 2. I highly doubt that an airport will let it's express bus service be out of service for too long either check back with them closer to when you leave or take a local buses (like what we did in Zagreb, Croatia) or pay a taxi/uber (this is guaranteed to be the most costly of them all). 3. Although we don't have experience paying the drivers directly (other than sometimes luggage fees) Drivers do take payments but my presumption was that they'd only accept card due to possible theft issues, I know this is the case with some Flixbuses in Central Europe. Hopefully everything goes well for you 🤞 Just be sure to stay safe and trust your gut 💪 Let us know how you get on 👍
