Is that y their loosing. And they would’ve already lost without the help of the Uk and Us

mohammed al-kaffaji so the airsrikes hundreds of soldiers on our side that died fighting alongside them isn’t help. And the fact there are still people there helping them by advising. And no they didn’t supply weapons to isis. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. Isis get there money and guns from people trafficking and drug trafficking not western countries.
@@collusionjazz5520 false. It is well documented that US supplied rebels arms during the Syrian uprising and the rebels turned out to be ISIS in the long run.
Indeed ISIS funded themselves with oil, drugs and trafficking. But who got them there in the first place.
As a westerner, it was so incredibly relieving to see a film about Iraq and the conflict for Iraqis, in Iraqi Arabic and without any of the usual tropes from other films about the Middle East. No American saviors, no white heroes. The characters are the sole protagonists of the story. They also don't demonise the US forces and there isn't much dialogue about them because ultimately the characters are not defined by a US military presence. They are in full control of their present. Really great film and excellent acting. I hope Netflix keeps doing stuff like this.

Ive always wanted to see a war movie that is from the point of view of the Iraqis struggle against terrorism this film was absolutely captivating, in both combat sequences and character development, one of the best films Netflix have produced and one of the most realistic war films I've seen in a long time.
As Iraqi , I still remember the day our prime minister declared that we defeated isis and we got Mosul back , we celebrated and cheered in streets of Baghdad all night long all sects , all ethnics waving the Iraqi flag we’ve lost so many of our soldiers and civilians in that war , it was a great historical moment for all Iraqis , I’m glad that world now get to see the bravery of our men .
After the war , we have an utter freedom of speech ,independent journalism and media and even political satire like the john Stewart style , we remained secular like we’ve always been even though our running parties had Islamists names but just like turkey it’s just names , you are not forced to wear hijab like Iran or Saudi , of course you’ve got southern cities like najaf (the Shia holy city) where most women wear hijab but that’s just their cultural norms , it’s not enforced by the state , the constitution treat all Iraqis as equals in rights and freedoms , Christians ( 5 millions ) , yazisdis , Kurds , Arabs . Our economy is good , our universities are recognized in Europe and America , we’ve moved passed sectarian divisions between Sunni and Shia that lead to civil unrest in 2006 now if a politician dared to say Sunni or Shia people would spit on him and call it a cheap election card , we have a parliament that represent all sectors ,and election every four years , Baghdad where I live the capital city (9 millions ) woman have employment rate higher than men , cause over 70 have have collage degrees , there are malls , cafe shops , amusement parks , gyms , night clubs ( alcohol allowed ) ، very modern and beautiful city Baghdad is like its always been .
Now here are the problems : the weak borders that we were left with after America abolished saddam army in 2003 , the sixth strongest army at the time , was a disastrous move , it created power vacuums which lead to terrorist attacks from 2003 till 2010 , every attack leaving at least 10 dead and that became our new Normal , having no stability , we don’t how we do it , We are lovers of life I guess , but that’s why some Iraqis would say saddam era was better they mean there was peace , we regained stability for four golden years then boooom , big evidence of that power vacuum showed & slapped us again when isis took over Mosul in 2014 , we defeated them in 2017 and took back Mosul but with over 5 thousand of our soldiers dead and civilians who volunteered , Our government allowed during that battle Iranian backed militias to support it , now after the victory , those Militias wouldn’t deconstruct themselves , they still have bases in four Iraqi cities ,which what we protested over last year in thousands all over iraq , and led to our prime minister resigning , now we have a temporary government till the next election , We want stability , strong army , no Iranian militias on our soil .
when america will leave, hezbollah will have no excuse, don't worry they will have to join the iraqi army or else they won't spend the night.
Iraqi underground branch of hizbollah named battat was arrested , for inciting violence many years ago , so we never heard from them ever since , the word hizbollah in Iraq Carries different weight than Lebanon , where they are part of the government and the parliament officially since the eighties , they played a big part in that fabric of Lebanon , that’s never EVER going to be the case here , we regard them as nothing more than outlaws , and their militias will never have any official part of the government, most American troops left since 2011 , they have four military bases in Iraq with a few thousands , America is never ever going to leave its billions worth bases, they have them all over the world , it won’t change in Iraq .
Until the US invents new terrorists and blames the Russians. How can your nation be so foolish?
What a story, it just highlights the fact normal people want to live their lives in peace and have the right to work and raise a family 🙌

Gotta be one of the most accurate movies I have ever seen. I found it great in how it portrayed how chaotic and deadly it all was. One minute you're talking to your buddy in the Humvee and the next he's been shot dead. Also the friendly fire.
I actually found it interesting (and positive) that they really made an effort to show the heroes as being more pious than ISIS.

Netflix's movies/series are very promising as of this late. The stories are portrayed by their own people using their own language. It starts with the Barbarian Series, and now this. I am looking forward to more local stories using local language and actors.
Hopefully it can be done without the Liberal-Progressive (i.e., gay) propaganda.
@@billywashere6965 even we're tired of it on the left. We just need go stories without the agendas. Also way too much of the feminist agenda as well.
@@LazyCrazyGuy It's too late now, for as far as mainstream blockbusters are concerned. When many of us tried warning people about the escalation of propaganda we were all called "conspiracy theorists" and a host of other names, receiving invective from so-called Progressives for not liking the idea of entertainment media being used as Cultivation Agitprop.
Nowadays it's so bad I have to browse discussion threads and forum boards to find out of if a movie, book, comic or video game is filled with disgusting Liberal degeneracy before purchasing it. It's such an aching hassle just to find a few moments of entertainment and enjoyment. All because people became complacent and accepting of Cultural Marxism in the West.
