There is a movie about the story of Eli Cohen. The Israeli (Mossad) agent in Syria. He almost became the Deputy Defense Minister of Syria. He was also credited for suggesting the Syrians to plant trees near their bunkers to provide shade for the troops. Used later by the Israelis as target markers during the war. .

Yes the Raid on Entebbe is a classic and should be on the list.
Its the much better version for me. 7 Days in Entebbe (2018) attempted to humanized the terrorist.
the unit that did the real raid was an israeli army unit, the mossad did the planning but the execution of the raid was done by a most decorated army unit
I’ve seen all these except for one Debt …they all had me sitting on the edge of my seat I love Israel’s history learning what they have had to go thru in life. To me they have my respect and admiration for being such a strong people.

Maybe it was a mini series.

Mossad played a very small role in Entebbe. It was Sayeret Matkal that performed the Entebbe operation.
Hadn't been Mossad gathering Intel it could be difficult for Sayaret to accomplish, it's the game of engine with gearbox
I read the book DIN (acronym for Dahm Yisrael Nokeach- the blood of Israel avenges) , which tells the story of the vengeance of the Munich massacre.
The movie showed the 5 man team as being kind of bumbling. The book which was written by the commander of the team who was the youngest and had a commando background portrayed the team with each member having their own skill and being more competent than the movie portrayed.
The mission which if I remember correctly took 5 years and took place just about entirely in Europe. They were almost entirely on their own out of contact with Israel. The book really portrayed what a shadowy world they lived in. European contacts that helped them one year might betray them a year later. At the end of the 5 year mission they had eliminated either 8 or 9 of the ten terrorists, and 2 or 3 of the Mossad team were killed during the mission.
Very different kind of warrior.

"Walk on Water" (not on this list) is my favorite Mossad operative movie.
It's a rather quiet and linear film, which adds to its realism, and it is oh, so powerful!
I love Israel Prime Minister Golda Meir because she was same as our Indian Prime Minister LT.Indira Gandhi both were same. Both were not only prime minister but they were fighters...✍

Raid on Entebbe with Charles Bronson and Peter Finch was a much better Entebbe rescue movie. Yaphet Kotto was a great Idi Amin.

7 Days in Entebbe (2018) - I prefer the first movie. Also its technically not about Mossad itself. More about the IDF. The only casualty is Yonatan "Yoni" Netanyahu, the brother of the Former PM.

My birthdate soulmate Jessica Chastain deserves more credit. The Debt (2010, Mossad) and Zero Dark Thirty (2012, CIA) remain her best spy movies based on real events and intelligence agencies. This is to all those reviewers who rated her recent "The 355" movie so low, which even I admit was rather unrealistic. They haven't seen her good ones. So I personally recommend No.2 from this list.

8' the little drummer girl all fairly good representations of Israeli trade craft and most follow the books that they were based on and most were based on true life stories ( black sunday is fictional story with a few true life real incidents the beirut assault being 1' ) and none of them have any hoho7' shananagins

The Mossad do not play a part in the 1977 film Black Sunday
Great list but Steal The Sky is weak. The real Operation Diamond was a far better story without the Muriel Hemmingway character's nonsense.

Em 2019 fui numa palestra aonde se apresentava um dos espiões que atuo na operaçao verdadeira da Red Sea Resort.O irõnico que se no filme seu personagem era interpretado por um galã, na vida real não passava de um homem comum com cara de contador, baixinho, barrigudo e longe da beleza.

I'm fond of Eytan Fox's film Walk On Water, except it's about a Mossad agent who burns out, so perhaps it doesn't belong on this list. It's well worth watching, though, and the ending will surprise you.
I've not seen #4, but "The House on Garibaldi Street" is outstanding on the same topic.

The movie about Eli Cohan was called, " The impossible spy". Have seen it back in 1994 on our TV here in South Africa... Very good and I will recommend it to everyone who is interested in the world of spy's.............

also worth watching was "the soldier" 1982. The film was cheap, but it was a good plot about the arab israel conflict within the context of the greater struggle of the cold war.

This list had 7 Days in Entebbe but not Netflix’s The Spy or Red Sea Diving Resort? Really!? Well, at least I learned about a Mossad spy thriller I never knew about before, The Angel.
7 days in Entebbe was okayish. The final "main attack" scene is shockingly so short that you would begin to re-think the time spent on the entire movie.
