Where is the crossing at?
Signal maintainer's hate those types of crossbars that the gate attaches too. Thats why newer ones have a break away mechanism that bends back and forth but allows easier installation of a new gate.

I just don’t understand why a lot of people try to beat trains everytime. I also hate to see them brake the gate, that’s also a whole fine for ignoring warning lights and arms cause one day they can save your life, CROSSING LIVES MATTER!!!!

THE THING IS:: I didn't try yo beat the train I just got too close if I had of backed up I would have removed the antenna, it didn't cause any damage I waited till the train was past it was lucky me. I was just too close. there was no stop line I did stop and waited though.

When they install a Railroad Gate They have to turn on the bells to make sure the Gate works if they Don't they have to sent it back they usually want Gate lights that way if it's dark and u can't see the lights are on the gate so u can see them

To Be Honest with u i am a man who is not an Idiot on my Bike but when i Hear the Warning bells and the Lights are Flashing and the Arms comes down i just Get off my bike and wait for it to End and then When the arm comes up i wait for it to be complety up and then i cross or if the Train is stopping and i cant get out i would just turn the bike around and find some other Way

Why is all the cars slowing Down like a Train is on the way
The flashing red lights mean nothing to motorists. They are privately owned by the RR and running them is not a DOT offence. Perhaps one day the geniuses in Govt. will mandate a proper DOT stoplight ahead of all RR crossing. 3 points on license and a $150 ticket is the only thing Idiots understand.

But sometimes some people don’t want to hear someone talk every few seconds (trust I’m like Ellis from left 4 dead 2 I’ll chatter a lot and annoy some people.) the reason he was not talking and yes everyone said this. He wants to focus on fixing and I understand if he was very excited I mean your a railfan right? Well it’s like it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to do this some people just leave the repairman alone and don’t stop to help them and some ask through their car if they need any help.
