Crazy 2JZ Flame Thrower Anti-lags to Explosion!

- During our visit to the UAE for the Custom Show Emirates we came across a crazy burnout/drift event, its safe to say these guys have a really good time beating the crap out of their cars and putting on a heck of a show! Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching!

+Ghost It is oil, possibly from the turbo feed. Fuel doesn't have thst consistency and would have ignited immediately when the fire started.

***** Oil is dark when its dirty, but relatively clear when clean. Also fuel would have made a much larger fireball and would have evaporated off the windshield by the time the car got back to the pits. Also when they show us the close up of the engine bay the only things I can see on the passenger side are the turbo and the oil catch can, the fuel system is on the driver side in a 2jz powered car as thats the side where the injectors are.

I’m shocked they weren’t dumping water on the turbo while it was red hot.
You guys are idiots.. if they splashed water on to the turbo it would’ve cracked all over and become unusable, they splashed water on the radiator to try to keep the car running and cool the turbo passively.When extremely hot metal is splashed with water it becomes extremely brittle and tries to shrink from its expanded form from heating up so much and it cracks all over. Y’all are just stupid this is basic shit

I'm not even an import guy and i will have to admit that a good 2jz is hard to beat. I've seen them built to handle 3,000 hp before.
props to whoever made that engine. I bet you that engine wasn't getting as much air as normally. after that run I would have got the hamburgers out and started cooking off the turbo :)

Woah Haters calm down. First of all yes we have Money, lots of it. Second of all blowing up your engine is considered as a part of the show. Third of all i agree with some of you it is engine abuse and i don't really like that. Ps: i'am from the UAE and i was there that day but left before the shows start. In addition 2j engine is surprisingly cheap here.

2. Its a motor all of us love and there aren't any in production anymore so its a waste of material.

the engine is very cheap in UAE ridiculously cheap by the way in egypt u can buy evo engine 2 liter turbo for about 2000 dollar with it's system full system suspension to breaks to every mechanical thing related to it even the exhaust system is from 80 to 100 dollars lots of people save money and buy it form UAE cheaper so u can imagine
hell u can buy spyder nitrous system form 300 to 500 dollars and i mean full system

The turbo looked like it was leaking oil that + a red hot turbo= firrreeeee

I'm being 100% honest when I ask this, no sarcasm or anything just curious....
Was this an exhibition event? seemed to be a decent sized crowd but I'm not sure if this is supposed to be the main event or if it was a separate performance by individuals. the main reason I ask is because I think he would've gotten the same results with less damage if he just set the vehicle up to be a "flame thrower vehicle" and did some burnouts instead and drove home and kept his vehicle intact..... just curiois, never seen this type of performance carried out for so long that's all....

I built a system made of a light steel box around the turbo and manifold with two fans extract and blowing the ac system,plus dry ice on intercooler when needed,downed the temp inside the air-box by 250 degrees.
