Your Video on how to change out a B&G VTwin 20-26 hp Starter IS 100% CORRECT! Take the aluminum shield off first and there is good access to the stupid 2nd bolt holding the starter on. No need for the Torx... just a simple 1/2" socket like you did. To take the shield off though you have to dismount the fuel pump (easy since it is held on by the same 2 bolts). Follow this video (funny cuss words and all) and you will save $200 letting the local Lawn Mower repair shop do it. (The new Starter costs only $34 on Ebay) Putting the cover back on is MUCH EASIER if you just remove the 4 screws completely... Cover slides in place easy. Then re-mount the 4 bolts... NO POUNDING required. LOL... That was funny. Well done video. Thanks

Disconnect the battery - BEFORE doing any of this. Rather than taping the live lead ...
