This reminds me so much of when I started milking cows in the mid 80s when I was 14. It was an abreast gasgione parlour which milked 4 at a time and I milked about 35 cows. I milked every evening after shool and Am and PM at weekends. I later went on to milk 200 cows on a big farm at the time as assistant herdsman but diddent enjoy that as much. Its great to see a small family farm working well and I am really enjoying your videos, well done.
Thanks Toby
Don’t think anyone cares Toby
Enjoyed seeing your routine. You're a credit to the dairy industry. Long live the family farm and quality food produced with care.
I started with a 4 unit swing fed grain in the parlor. THE grain ran in from the outside into each stall on both sides.Enjoy ur videos look forward to them.I only follow small farms yours is top notch
This is where we all started and wish we still were
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Keep up the good work and look forward to the next one.
Another enjoyable video.
The parlour radio is actually great companionship whilst working
Much prefer these relaxing, more intimate parlours than the high tech ,mass milking parlours
Thanks John, the simpler it is the less to go wrong
Great video 👍 nice to see a farm similar to our own, small and simple. It's the best way to be! It's a nice setup you have and a lovely farm with happy and healthy cows, and that's what's important. Keep up the great farming 👍😊

I'd say that cow has a blind spot and she can't see the door. She did it in her on way though. Yeve fine clean cows.
Nice cows looks like very good breeding going on 👍 and that's what makes money not fancy equipment
Grate video well done lovely little parlor. Would you like to expand. Are your cows autumn or spring calfing. You have great passion for dairy 👍
In the future, I would like to upgrade it to a six-unit parlour and expand the number of cows. We calve all year round.
How long does it take you to milk all the cows and i hear some farmers have to pour milk away cause its not been lifted are yous pouring yours away
You must hunt the cows into the parlour ours nearly kill each other so they can get in. Great video
I love you cat. And cows
Nice video make more, how the sistem work?
And how to clean the hoses and suction cups.
Wonderful video as always. Please get closer to the microphone, sometime it is hard to hear you well.
A nice low cost parlor
Are you going to do weekly videos . great vid
I am going to try but it is hard to find the time between farming and online school
You have good looking cows
How many cows do you milk ? Have you ever think to move the vacuum pump outside the parlor? It will be really less noisy ! By the way excellent video!
Yeah we are thinking about making a shed outside for it
How do you clean this system
Would you ever upgrade to a bigger parlour
Have u a preference in placing the clusters between back legs or from the side
I usually put them between the legs but some cows prefer them from the side.
Do the cows come into the parlour in the same order every time ?
Hello, the milking parlor is very interesting, please send the map ?! Good luck
How much milk a day do your cows produce
Hello . what are the dimensions of the milking parlor?
Where are ye based?
Are you making anymore videos.
How many cows you got
Is it just me r was there quiet background music all through talking part
Some job lad
Great video! Could you do a video of you muck spreading
Quanti litri al giorno??
How many acres do ye have
50 acres
Do ye have any cow out on grass yet
All the cows are out. The only ones in are the calves and the young bulls
how old are you? nce wee video too
Thanks, I am 18
Bord Bia would close ye down if they saw those cats in the milking parlour lol. Think ye should dry wipe them with paper towel before milking to let down milk, used to wash them here for years all year round with rags, mistake I think. Is their some cows ye will not leave last? Panic with the chain.
We always try to get a big cow at the back
No gutter I c
