I eagerly anticipate each of your videos. Always on point. With humor and resp life farming. Your a real credit to your Dads teaching. He is most proud of you. It shows in his smile.
Def wanna see more of your dad! His brief cameo has me hooked I get the feeling he’s probably secretly a hilarious dude. Most farmers are! Great video as always!
Boumatic mats are just children's play mats, same as dairy master aswell. They are very comfy but cannot be power washed and don't take impacts well. Teemore engineering makes a rubber alternative that is just as comfy, is power washable and lasts much longer. We've had the same Teemore mats in for the last 6 years and they are still as good as new.
THIS KID IS A PARENTS DELIGHT ,, I WISH WE SAW MORE OF YOUR MOM AND DAD , ALSO YOUR SISTERS . YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL FAMILY AND IF YOU EVER GET TIRED OF RUNNING THE FARM ,,, I WOULD PAY A GUY LIKE YOU THAT WORKS AS HARD AS YOU DO WELL .. YOUR A SELF STARTER ANDREALLY LOVE WHAT YOU DO .. I JUSTHOPE MOM AND DAD KNOW WHAT A GREAT KID YOU ARE .... SETHDOUG TRUMBULL CT
Started watching your videos last week and wow! Your videos are amazing, and it’s a little distraction from all the chaos in the world. Thank you for being a great human and keep up the great work! Hello from Yuma, Arizona 🌞
Hahaha that little devilish grin when your dad got stuck that was funny....the mats look awesome, nice to see you working right next to your father......those moments of time should last a lifetime..your always working good stock my friend,, never give up.
Watched the first vid cuz it popped up, so decided to give it a try. I’m getting a little attached . Absolutely love the blue mats...so pretty. And I hope that people realize standing/walking on concrete for any length of time or consistently, will eventually affect your feet all the way up to your neck. As a neuro/ortho nurse, I’ve seen this so much.
I have a desk job and could not be farther from farming. But love these videos, this guy and this lifestyle. What happens to the cows when they die or get old? Please do a video on that. Thanks.
Jan, another great video. Just to let you know, you never outgrow the “good” feeling of it not being your fault when things go wrong🙄. The mudding comment brought a cute smile to your Dad’s face...good job Jan! Good Luck getting your sister to do the boring rolling job. Thanks for another great video. Hope the weather gets better.
The new mats look really sharp and it seems they will be nice and comfy on the feet. You were really enjoying seeing Dad stuck in the mud lol. Learning about rolling the land to keep the rocks from damaging the machinery was interesting. I am always happy when I see your notification of a new video. Thanks again as always.
Thanks for your videos, you explain what your doing & why & I really appreciate that. I had no idea how complicated milking cows could be. Your knowledge about so many different aspects of your farm is amazing.
Aww that's so sweet daddy's boy had to help him😉 the new mats looks good nice color sometime in the future can we see more of the family helping out so what's next for DK keep up the good work and see you in the next video 🤔😊😉
Wow, both your dad and your sister all in one video. It's nice to see some of that teamwork that we all know must be happening to make that farm run. Hope you have a wonderful day and say hi to your dad and sister for me.
Jan! So cool to see your Dad. I know we met your Mom with your episode on the calves. And we've seen your sister several times now. You're the best, of course. But it is nice to know who else is in the family operation. Having watched all of the videos from oldest to newest, it almost became sort of spooky that there were no other people in your vids. Finally, I think it was late December, your Mom appeared. :D Thank them all, and be blessed!!
SaskDutch Kid - Another great video. Great looking new mats on the floor in the milking barn. Nice job trouble shooting the problem in the barn. Blessings to you, your family, and the crew.
Hi Jan great videos, its nice to be able to see how things are done overseas. Especially how you manage with the cold as I'm from South Africa and it barely freezes in winter. Happy milking
Years ago I attached metal plate pieces to each tractor roof with that double sided foam tape. The GPS is up there as well as a satellite radio antenna. It’s lasted for years and years. I also like my old International that actually has a metal roof - no plate needed on that one.
Jan, Eric and you must have been on the same route of the mat salesman🤔, your feet will sure all appreciate the softer walking and warmer surface. Judging from the difference in you and your dads tan, he does more outdoor work than you. Nice seeing him and hopefully he’ll get less camera shy. If it was you who’d got the pickup stuck would he not have asked you why you drove through the wet spot😜 Great video as usual. Thank you.
Finally seen your dad. You should do a family history some time when not so busy mom too. Minnesota Millennial Farmer did, that was nice. Really like your vids.
Hey. always on top ! beautiful carpet. you have no hydraulic plank for the milking parlor? a question: how much slope is there for the waiting area of the cows, for a good flow of water?thanks for sharing. Greetings from switzerland. François.
Another good video Jan. Good to see you Dad in the video. Those Matt’s will sure make a difference on you legs and back when milking. Have a safe day/ week.
Good morning Jan, I know it’s going to Be a great day when I get a notification from one of my favorite Dairymen! I’m trying to send you some warm sunny weather from south of the border 🇺🇸❤️’s 🇨🇦 🥛 🐄
Be careful as those break in they will expand and will start to bubble and buckle at the joints because of the nice tight job you did. I have them in my wood shop and have to replace them every couple years but I use harbor freight specials so can't expect to much. But worth every penny.
Wonder how long the two different colors of blue tiles are going to be random until someone arranges them in a pattern? And getting stuck in the field - or on the way to and from - is a rite of passage on the prairies. Good times!
Jan, when did your dad moved to Canada? Was it in the 90's? When a lot Dairy Farmers moved or rather got chased out of Holland? And, is speaking the old language still at home or is it all changed since you as kids never learned the old language that your parents transitioned also completely? Or am I totally off, if so.. I really apologize 😓😶😊 But yeah, I totally understand that you feel better knowing not everybody is without failure and that brings a short moment of satisfaction, lol! 😁 Only watch out, next time something is your turn again, they may have seen this and they will make sure you feel it a little bit longer then normally 😁😜
Guys. I am a retired interior designer. About your mats - they are fabulous, I'm sure, but roughly 2/5 are put top down or downside up. If it doesn't matter in terms of which side is better (prolongs the life of the mat) to be up, forget it. If it does matter, it's an easy fix. It shows on my monitor, don't know if you can even tell in real life. Cameras and monitors see things a little differently than our eyes - look at the area first, if you can't see it, look at the video. Start at about 4:46.
It's a great feeling when it's not you that's stuck, isn't it? Lol 😄 Hate when I'm at the receiving end of help. Around here ya never hear the end of it. And your lil grin tells me, your the joker of the farm. But.... I must say your parents installed good manners in you kids. You and your sister show respect and appreciation toward others. That's awesome. I like the new Lego mats. So much easier to lay down and take up sections to clean under. Glad you didn't do the white. It just doesn't stay clean looking.
It’s nice to see your Dad. You guys look like you make a good team. 🚜
THANKYOU for great video,,, beautifull parlor for the beautifull cows,, you are a great guy,, from a AUSTRALIA GUY,,
Nice to meet your Dad, I loved that grin on your face when it was Dad was stuck instead of you
Awesome! Yeah was pretty stoked about that!
@@saskdutchkid Shhh, don't let dad hear or read that
I can tell you as a father he must be so proud of you and being able to call on a son for help is always a great feeling.
I think that's the 1st time seeing your dad. He must be very proud of how you turned out. Great work ethics and a gentleman. Stay safe guys.
I eagerly anticipate each of your videos. Always on point. With humor and resp life farming. Your a real credit to your Dads teaching. He is most proud of you. It shows in his smile.
The look of contentment on that cows face with the power brush is priceless👍🏻
I think that’s the first time I saw his dad. Love the vids
Nice to meet SaskDutch Dad finally ✌️
Def wanna see more of your dad! His brief cameo has me hooked I get the feeling he’s probably secretly a hilarious dude. Most farmers are! Great video as always!
I'm amazed by all the areas of expertise you have, mechanics, animal husbandry,.... Is there anything you can't/don't do on the farm?
Boumatic mats are just children's play mats, same as dairy master aswell. They are very comfy but cannot be power washed and don't take impacts well. Yup! - Good to see and hear dad. Now we know where Jan gets his good looks. 😜
Great video! A lot of stuff happening. Nice to see your Dad make an appearance!
Started watching your videos last week and wow! Your videos are amazing, and it’s a little distraction from all the chaos in the world. Thank you for being a great human and keep up the great work! Hello from Yuma, Arizona 🌞
Always enjoyable & interesting listing to and watching your vlogs. Glad to see Dad on camera and even briefly speaking . Well done
Hahaha that little devilish grin when your dad got stuck that was funny....the mats look awesome, nice to see you working right next to your father......those moments of time should last a lifetime..your always working good stock my friend,, never give up.
Beautiful!!! And great job Dad. I see where the kid got his great work ethic. Are all Dutchmen like us? Bet they are!!
Great video as always! Kind of miss the shots of you getting your morning coffee everytime. 😂👍
*SaskDutch Dad* !. Cool mats, we have the same but rubberized , use them in the machine shed. Saves the old feet.

Always great to get one of your video's.
Thanks
Nice to finally see your Dad! Family is the important part of a family farm.....give them all some more camera time!

Its crazy how much
You & your Sister look like your Dad
I love these videos. Every morning I have my coffee while I watch another episode.
It is nice to know that you are standing on our product (Boumatic) while milking with De Laval. Lol!
The new mats look really sharp and it seems they will be nice and comfy on the feet. You were really enjoying seeing Dad stuck in the mud lol. loved the giggle when you asked dad if he as doing some mudding, buried a few trucks and tractors myself always fun, as always great vid
Not just us young lads that make mistakes 😂 that grin when you said he got stuck really made me laugh
Nice to finally get to see your Dad. You look like him, both good looking men 😉
"Doing some mudding? "Maybe I can get my little sister to do it 'cause it's boring.." LOL Great video Jan
You not only installed the new mats, you "saved" your dad and the pasteurizer - Dutchy saves the day.
Wow, both your dad and your sister all in one video. It's nice to see some of that teamwork that we all know must be happening to make that farm run. Hope you have a wonderful day and say hi to your dad and sister for me.
Well there's the dad and sis with a smile ! Fun video ! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
New mats look great !
Liked that side smile when you said your Dad got stuck. LOL

Green and white checkerboard pattern would look nice

great looking farm nice and clean it's nice to have a dad you can work with floor looks great.

Its been a lot of years since I did any dairy farming. I am thoroughly enjoying your channel see up the good work!
Anti fatigue mats makes a world of difference. I have them at work and when they wear out you know quick.
I like that u are showing others working on the farm. :)
Nice to see your subscribers climbing , your most deserving.😀👍🏾🚜🇨🇦
Hey. always on top ! beautiful carpet. you have no hydraulic plank for the milking parlor? a question: how much slope is there for the waiting area of the cows, for a good flow of water?thanks for sharing. Greetings from switzerland. François.

Good morning Jan, I know it’s going to
Be a great day when I get a notification from one of my favorite Dairymen! I’m trying to send you some warm sunny weather from south of the border 🇺🇸❤️’s 🇨🇦 🥛 🐄
Morning Micheal! It seems to be working, supposed to be getting warmer up here over the next week!
SaskDutch Kid same here, it’s looking like sunny and highs in the upper eighties (88f) this week, eat your heart out 😂
like the new addition to your milking parlor looks great and i bet it's good to the feet to, great video enjoyed it very much
Wondering why you won’t have mold under those mats. Are you pulling them up evertime you power wash the parlor so it dries underneath?
You would think that it would be nice to have a few more colours of mat. Perhaps a series of red and white with the blue.😅
Showing the boss it's not always your fault? 😂😂 Awesome video, as usual.. milk parlor looking good! 💪😉
Great video! Thanks for sharing❗❗❗ 🙂🙂🙂 👍👍👍

Thanks for the tip!
That's what I kind of thought but they are twice as thick as the HF ones I have and look like a more dense foam to last a little longer.
Nice mats looks good
You guys should put a bulit in radio in the milking parlour.
Ed N. where I milk we have tunes going while milking ..it’s really nice
Solved many puzzles in this video Jan 👍🏻
Oh, great!!!!! Your Dad looks younger than me, LOL!!!!
The floor mats are a big feet saver ! I work in boots on concrete floors 8 hours a day ... have to keep walking to save the feet ....
I'm going through a really rough day. And I'm not sure why but you've made it a little easier. Thanks.
look like a pool beautiful
A beautiful area
How will you clean out the crud that will accumulate under those interlocking mats? If you think it won't; good luck.
Those are some pretty nice boumatic mats
Awww i saw my babies...well your babies😅.i missed them 😘👋
I think you only needed 1 new hole in the steel bar but 2 works. Blessings!
Great awesome video, nice to see your dad , Heinz 57 parlour now lol 😂
Nice floor mats. Take care of your knees. After milking most of our life. Getting knees replaced now. Thank you for the video update eh.
Hope you like your new building :)
We sure do!
What a Beauty of a Parlour and must be a joy to milk in. Keep up the great job you do.
Fiinally you got to help bail out your Dad (for a change); a good day indeed.
Beautiful mats, and a great job installing them. But, not made in Canada ???
Wonder how long the two different colors of blue tiles are going to be random until someone arranges them in a pattern? And getting stuck in the field - or on the way to and from - is a rite of passage on the prairies. Good times!
incautious1 they’re making me crazy. It’s so distracting. Lol

I was wondering to when they moved.

Cool mats. Just question, how many people work in the farm?
Would be nice to meet the whole family!
Nice Farm
Thanks 👍
Lego for milk parlor!
A great investment u will not regret
