I can honestly say this show saved my life. I remember the day it came out, I was in 7th grade. Earlier that year, I discovered I had severe depression and anxiety. I stopped playing sports, hanging out with friends and isolated myself. No specific reason, I just felt so down all the time. I couldn’t find joy in literally anything I used to. This show gave me something to look forward to every Thursday. It’s a show that I can always turn on and find joy in it, like an escape. I love all these guys so much for that
You need God and family Trevor. Probably the last thing you want to hear, and if you saw who the person typing this to you was, you would be quite surprised I think. Our culture is cultivating mental illness because the only things that exist is pleasure and its eternal pursuit. I hope the best for you, it's rough out there.
Not saying this is the case with you, but it's very rarely that such a sudden change will come out of nowhere. It could have been a build up of frustration etc. That you might not have recognized as a stressor that reached the tipping point. Although now has passed a long time, but I bet there is more to it that you may not realized it yet.
@@HeaRtllesSs that’s a good point. As a kid, I was always “shy” but throughout school I realized that was probably just me not knowing what my anxiety was back then

Most of the more severe illnesses happen to people by surprise, unexpectantly, impacting first in the brain, then in the corresponding organ which that part of the brain controls. The end of WWI had absolutely everything to do with the Flu and lung TB outbreak that occurred killing millions. In nature, the biological conflict linked with a territorial fear (just what it means-a fear in your territory, your home, your community, etc.) is a widening of the bronchia (tissue loss). Your body attempts to widen your bronchia in order to allow more air into your lungs to give you more strength and energy to fight to keep your territory safe. Stay with me.......The biological conflict linked with a death fright impacts the lungs. The lungs attempt to grow larger in order to allow more air in because breath equals life, as we all know. No breath equals death. While you are in the fear or death fright conflict, you notice no symptoms of “disease”, except you have cold hands, cold feet, you can’t sleep, you awaken at 3 AM every night, you have little appetite. During the war, millions of people were in fear of the bombing of their homes and cities where the war was most active. Fearing for their lives, their loved ones in the war, their ability to survive. The food in the stores was sparse due to shortages. This lasted for 4 long years! The longer the conflict, the worse the healing phase. Within 2 weeks of the German Chancellor announcing the end of WWI, these millions of people ALL went into the healing phase all at the same time. It is during the healing phase that you experience symptoms of illness! What is the healing phase of the bronchia widening? Severe bronchitis, pneumonia. The body attempts to refill this lost tissue and you experience inflammation, fever, coughing, body aches, fatigue, etc. What is the healing phase of the extra lung tissue that grew? Decomposing of the tissue by TB bacteria and fungi. The symptoms of this healing phase are: severe coughing up of blood and tissue, fever, inflammation, severe mucous, body aches, fatigue. During this decomposing of the extra tissue (tumor), the body expels a lot of protein, and without replenishment, severe protein loss can result in death. Antibiotics did not exist yet. If TB bacteria does not exist in a person or they have been vaccinated against TB (big mistake), then the tumor will simply encapsulate and become dormant and not harm you. Who died during the Spanish Flu? Mainly the poor who could not afford to buy meat and proper nourishment, and the people who were directly impacted by the bombings and destruction of their homes. Millions of people suffered fear and death frights during the fighting of WWI, and millions of people all went into healing at the end of it. Not everyone was affected because not everyone suffered the same way. It’s not a “flu”, it’s not something you “catch”. It’s biological, meaningful, and unavoidable. been playing too many video games? lol "quests" "role"
@@Tapndatass dungeons and dragons lol
Some real nice side quests
Nice spelling, bro
Just like Bill Burr! Sike. I used to love him, but stopped following him since his Theo Von debut.
Wow Sal that’s so decent of you to openly discuss mental health issues ❤☺️ I think it’s so important! Also very relatable
We need a podcast with Theo and Sal as the host them together are hilarious
That impractical joker money is probably really nice.
I guess it was your turn to say this, about literally any good podcast with Theo. They just did one! Stfu
I can relate so much to Sal when it comes to everything he mentioned about ADHD/Depression and racy thoughts. I was on Zoloft and that worked good for some time but they had to keep bumping my dose up until I maxed out and I decided to stop. I’ve learned to handle my issues without meds now and I’m thankful so far so good.
Love Sal Vulcano on ANY podcast.
I never would’ve expected Sal being in the show, but I’m glad he was!
Sal is actually pretty big in the comedy scene. He’s in Theos “group” of friends. He’s good friends with Chris d
@@thewind6047 chris distefano isnt in theo’s circle. Chris delia is
@Joe Kickass not really there Joe
@Joe Kickass what are you talking about? What does Brenda have to do with Sal?
@@TheArmchairPriest Both Chris's are in Theo's circle. Yea he sees Delia more but DeStefano has done many podcasts together with Theo and they go way back. Look up footage of Theo and Chrissy D roasting each other on I think Opie's XM radio show.
Love you guys for honestly talking about mental health and what you’ve tried. It’s so beneficial for all of us. Thank you!
Man I didn't realize how connected you were, you've got everybody on your podcast! Much love
Damn just realized Theo passed a million subs!!! I watch a lot of podcasts especially with comedians and its tough to get over a million but it's great to see the love Theo is getting. Gang
Gang baby love Theo. American hero I think
Easy to reach subs milestones when you buy the subs. Why you think he fucks with Braindead Schlob? All about buying up the bot subs like a kardashian, like people don't know.
Right!! He was JUST at like 600k it feels like
I don't know how y'all can parrot things like "gang" as if it has any meaning to you other than just a pathetic way to try to fit in with all the other fans as if they're someone you wanna be accepted by.
@@snavisTM really karen? Why do you care so much?
Im such a huge sal vulcano fan. He is one of the most underrated comedians in the game. He is also the best joker in my opinon. I think the dude could have his own show by himself and it would be highly successful.
I used to see the “Worldest Smallest Woman” at the Meadowlnads Fair every single year. She was a tiny black woman, and she was always sitting in her chair knitting. And you were right, I spoke to her when I was a teenager and it turns out she does in fact have children. Her name is Gloria Rhoden.
Praise god
this episode made me go see a doctor for my own stuff and i feel like i'm already on a better path in my life. re-enrolled in school and starting a new career comes with it's own new set of anxiety and stress but i wouldn't have done it in such a short period of time if i had not listened to this podcast. Thank you, Theo and Sal.
Did you get on an anti depressant? I've always wanted to and the way they explained it makes me want to even more because I can barely function right now
@@chad_usa Everyone is different and the best advice I can offer, instead of specific prescriptions, is to go see a doctor, maybe two and have them evaluate you to provide you with options just for you.
@@MG-ko6jf Thank you. I don't even know if I can build up the courage to see a doctor for this too. I don't know if they'll think I'm lying or if they ask why I haven't ever seen a doctor before
@@chad_usa eh, i was shamed and scared of seeing a doc too. but that's kind of, like, you know, what they're there for. and if you get a shitty one, just go to a different doc. Worst case scenario is you're right back where you've started. Literally won't hurt anything to seek help.
@@MG-ko6jf That's true I didn't think about it that way. Thank you for the help man I'm gonna go see one
Absolutely loved this conversation. If I tried to explain why it would sound boring, but sometimes just two solid pals shooting the shit is all ya need to brighten the week.
“I couldn’t imagine selling tickets to a show I didn’t even write a joke for”
Doesn’t realize Theo freestyled a whole set while tripping on shrooms
"But yeah anyways how about them gay guys"

“What else man”
The epic one after his appearance on the Church of Whats Happening with Joey Diaz and Lee Syatt. That episode is so funny too.

Never know what/who to expect with Theo's guests but damn it I trust, appreciate and respect his choices!
Riff raff ep and Erik Griffen we're my favorite. Hilarious content and conversation
I found Theo through his podcast episode featuring Joe, found Sal's podcasts through that, and it's been a worm hole of comedy podcasts since. Thanks Theo!
Wait until you find some old Will Sasso episodes, haha…. He’s been one of the funniest guests ever.

These two are just one of the boys! Real is real and I can’t appreciate them more.
thankyou so much Theo and Sal for featuring my question. that seriously made my day. also thanks for not just roasting me XD
Sal finally calling Theo out on everyone who "died" in each and every story of his lol
Whenever Theo says he's an urban planner I can't help but lose it 😂😂
Planning that urban
I’m dead when he said he refused the BJ in the Black Hawk in Iraq…
So random 😂😂😂
Lmao at the college I went too all the athletes(football players) took that major “Urban Planning and Development” and I always thought it was some BS major they had to take in order to play football at the school, because it pretty much was
What a natural and hilarious discussion, varying from crazy to serious. One of Theo's best for sure.
The way Theo said “OH!” After Sal said it’s a cotton ball with a string had me so deadddd 😂
Theo said he could feel Wellbutrin climbing up and down his cerebellum at night hahahaha I’m dying
That thing keeps a hatchet on its hip 😂 -- Homie's above and beyond with the right-brain metaphors.
I said The Gnostic Alien said "Theo said he could feel Wellbutrin climbing up and down his cerebellum at night hahahaha I'm dying" 🙃
Sal, you’ve always been my favorite Joker. I’m so happy to watch this podcast. Anytime Theo has a Joker on I have to watch.
Who couldn’t get along with Sal? A rare combo of super funny/nice
Murr
I would love to see these guys do a podcast together for good. So wholesome and hilarious
Theo living his teenage years in a cult and on a boat that traveled the world. This guy is pure class
it explains a lot honestly
"The sound's not as heavy. They took away the cymbals."
Got a fucking analogy for everything. Incredible human.
28:59 only time I ever seen theo get got by his own logic/sense of humor this is such great listen
It's the way Sal's eyes get wide and he does the hand motion of putting on a hat that kills me
Dude I started wellbutrin like 3 months ago to finally treat my depression and it's been an absolute game changer for me. More energy more focus better mood consistently. Haven't had a depressed day since I started and I've felt close to miserable for years. Different pills work different for everybody but it's been great for me
Sal is a treasure. Theo is that kinda treasure we find at the bottom of an overpass in a river with a magnet.
By an embankment
By an odd smelling suitcase
Two absolute story tellers! Guests like this suite Theo so well. He is so quick on his feet
Men rarely talk about mental health. Proud of y’all for getting it out there.
“So what’s it like having basically an explosive mountain as your father?”
- probably Theo Von to Sal Vulcano
im here for sal theo is only funny to white trash. and from his subscribers looks like theres alot of ya
Loved this one. I'm glad that Prince Herb finally cut his hair. Always loved the impractical jokers
As a mother, this podcast is cracking me up about rectal temps and suppositories. 😂

This podcast was so funny, the random talks with sal got me cracking up😂😂
It's weird Theo can be so sad sometimes because he creates so much happiness for others 😊
You said it there!
He really does.
Usually it’s the ones in the dump that bring out the gems.

It didn't take long for these two to catch their rhythm man. They flow perfectly together. Great duo!
This was a blast to watch. I love Sal from "The Impractical Jokers" he always cracks me up. It was funny to see him joke with Theo and yet also feel comfortable enough to let his guard down sharing his personal life and bonding with Theo, which shows the impact Theo has on his guests and fans to open up and trust him. 👊❤ Gang Gang
You two have helped my depression.

What a great combination and conversation! God bless both of y'all 🤣
Two of my absolute favorite comedians.. frekn love it. IJ has given me the most laughs of any show ever
Sal has been for a long time, a great comic, just saw his set this month it was amazing
Man this was my favorite episode ever, Sal was so cool. Great chemistry with you Theo.
Quality episode. The best ones are always when the guest shares the spotlight, asks Theo questions and buzzes of his jokes
Great free flowing conversation. Nothing forced. Great stories
I also have ADHD and depression, I really felt alone before listening to this podcast, thank you Sal&Theo

The mystery is we'll never know when Theo is lying. I honestly think it's like 85% of the time 😂
Dude's such a Mythomaniac 😆
Dude kept on waffling in the intro alone, "I almost went on the Joker Cruise, oh wait I just recalled I did go on the cruise." Alright Theo, that seemed very disingenuous of you to say that.
It's obvious when he's lying...his mouth is moving
Anyone else notice how Sals story about the metal lunch box changed from the other podcast where he mentioned it? The one with Chris Distefano. 45 mins into it if you'd like to see the one making shit up. Lol.
I honestly think it's the opposite. I think 85% of it is true, he just exaggerates the smallest thing into a huge story. His brain is gifted and he remembers things in detail. It's definitely a talent that makes him who he is
Didn't think I needed this as much as I do now, so excited
This episode was so organic the chemistry everything about it
I love you Sal. Thank you for making me laugh and curing my depression while you focus on making yourself better
This makes me feel better about myself being on medication. Good for you Sal your transparency helps people like me. He got Theo to open up about being on Zoloft too. It’s a hard world these days!!
