- In this video we are going to discuss different types of base paint. I just want to mention that while I personally prefer painting on a black surface, this is not required for mandala art. You can paint on any color background you'd like!

As a beginner, I am thankful for all the information you are sharing and correcting my mistakes before I make them.
Thanks for this, just ran out of my favorite discontinued Anitas black paint from hobby lobby, was looking for a new base coat. I will try the folk art, thank you again. ❤😊❤😊❤
So many great tips. Thank you, Thank you!
If I use gesso on my MDF board, do I also need to paint black acrylic base paint on top of gesso?
Thank you 💕🙏
Thanks for your vidéo ! Sometime i want make my dot on white surface ( roc or tealight)but it's not easy to erase the guide Line , witch pencil i can use? Sorry for m'y englich but i'm french .
That is the tricky part about painting on a white surface! I’ve used grey charcoal pencil in the past and that seemed to work okay! Maybe just a lighter color chalk or charcoal pencil other than black
