Hey Rob, Great news, i managed to figure out what happened to the letter i sent, it got lost in a large basket of mail, the post sent it out today, in it is a coin that has the same back as the foreign you found
Hey do you know anything about Persian coins I thought it's a Roman coin but I'm not sure it might be from Persia if you have time could you watch it I posted it 3 days ago it says my old Persia coin thanks have a great day buddy
Great finds, Rob! Love the IHP and the Hungarian copper. When I saw "Magyar" I knew where it was from (my dad's mom was Hungarian). Being in Philly, I rarely see S-mint coins, but today I hunted a penny box and found two (both 1944-S, one with some lustre left on it). Always enjoy your videos. HH
Wife was at work the other day and found a crazy penny. She was handing out change and looked down to see a 1906 Indian head penny. Sweet score rite? What do you think?
Just opened my first two penny boxes today. My grandfather was a huge collector, he past last year leaving me a big collection I didn't know what to do with. Your videos inspired me to learn more about u.s currency and pick up his collection where he left off. Also can't wait for your key date Mats arrive ordered Penny's and Nickels.
I’m pretty sure they had key rings in 1885 because the type of key and lock we use today has been around since the 1860’s. I’m not knocking you btw, your extemporaneous patter is brilliant, I’m jealous of your ability to speak off the cuff while remaining brief and interesting. Most UA-camrs would really benefit from a script but not you...it’s a gift, brother! And speaking of brothers, I’m from the East Bay originally so you get points for having such a cool brother! 🤜🤛
You got some nice finds!! I've recently did a penny roll hunt with my Daughter, lots of fun!! My 1st penny roll hunt was 5 boxes about 3 years ago. Crazy what 3 years will do to the amount of wheaties found! It's almost half now, but I'm only able to compare that to 5 boxes in 2016 and 4 boxes in 2019! Not much to go on!! Have a GREAT Day!!!
Do you keep all of your copper pennies and if you do for what reason? And depending on your reason, would you recommend other collectors to keep them as well?
WOW 1885 Indian, I wouldn't care it was beat up either. Some cool finds 1881 from i forget now lol, still cool, Another great video Rob you where made for this Brother.
Forgive the dumb question, but why did the one that sent them to you have to pop the tops to verify circulated pennies if you could do that from simply checking the holes?
Wow rob, the old Indian head penny and the old Hungarian coin is a good sign that the Bay Area is the way to go. My best foreign was a 1952 nickel from Luxembourg
Is there a reason why you keep your copper? Just wondering because I am just starting coin roll hunting and I am wondering if I should keep the copper.
Kool Kyogre Normally it’s just a collectors choice to keep the copper. Technically a copper penny is worth around 1.8 cents in melt value, but some collectors just don’t bother
@Kool Kyogre - There is no real reason to save copper Cents. It is currently illegal to melt down U.S. copper Cents and Nickels. You would do far better to roll the coins you do not need, deposit them and buy the coins you do want.
Your Indian-Head find reminds me of the time my wife pulled an 1889 penny in decent shape from the random coins in the bottom of her purse. Totally unexpected.
Just a quick question if I join your Coin channel can I send you pictures of coins that I have questions on possibly answer those for me and see how much you think they’re worth and if this is the case can you tell me which one should I join
I live in San Francisco and I can tell you that there really isn’t a lot of S mint mark coins when I’ve had searched through Penny boxes. It’s mostly “D”. Good video as always.
That is an accurate account (as you'll see in the video), BUT I saw a lot more 68S-74S than I normally see (as in maybe a roll per box versus my 10-20 per box).
Oh that's hard to believe I live in Monterey Seaside and I get a lot of s minted coins and lately I've been getting a lot of 50 60s and 70s that are mixed in with the shields and you have to look at the back that's how clean these coins are and they had to have come straight from the mint unless someone took a bunch of BU rolls and threw them back in the circulation
With the heavy circulation of cents, I don't think there would be huge differences between a box bought on the East coast from a box on the West coast.
@RobFindsTreasure Curious what the significance of the 1974-s is? Low mint? Error / variety? Or just cool? Thanks for all the time you put into all these great videos for everyone!!
WOW!!! ROB! LOVE THAT INDIAN HEAD PENNY! GREAT FIND! I CAN TELL IN YOUR VOICE YOU DID HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!) (HAHA) KEEP UP THE GOOD FINDS !MY FRIEND:) OH AN CONGRADULATIONS ON THE WIN WITH SILVER NITRATES:) G A W
Rob that Foreign is a Hungarian penny. There is a really great app for your phone called coinoscope. Lets you scan coins to find out what they are, I found it through silver pickers channel. Thanks for the great video.
Another great hunt rob 👍 would think it would have more s mints then found.. I wish I could get a California box sent to me like that because in Orlando we seldom see s mints.
Great hunt as always. How long does it take you to get through a box of pennies? It always takes me days, but I rarely can just sit down and plow through one. Awesome that you got two 1800s coins!
Awesome hunt, this makes me want to go to my mother's house and hunt her collection of pennies that she has been saving for years. She is 73 now so yeah I'll let you know what I find
I hope you check for RPMs and double dies, they are prevalent in the Wheat Cent series. Not uncommon at all to come across higher grade later 30s to 58. I enjoyed your video, thanks!
@RobFindsTreasure, your videos are fun & great to watch & educational for collectors. Also, do you collect 1971 & 1972 P Lincoln pennies? If you do, then maybe you could do A "double die obverse" variety hunt for those 2 years, it's just an idea. Can't wait for your next video, good luck & Happy Hunting.
When you said roll number 14 the way you did on the first box, I said out loud, Indian head! You pointed the camera to the roll and I was like, “BOOM! Got it right!”. Anyways, nice finds rob. 👍🏻
Recent sub & new to coin vids. Found myself going through my coin jug 😂 found a dozen wheat P's, 9 silver nickel's, one silver qtr and one 05 MN proof qtr. I'm afraid that I will be buying some boxes this week.
Hey Rob! I checked out my first Red Book from the library. I want to own a coin shop when I’m older so I think it would be good to study it during summer vacation
I don't actively coin hunt or anything. But I do find it surprising how often I get 100 year old wheat pennies in my change. I get 4-5 a year just from routine trips to the store. Even got a 1909 a few years ago (not the good one).

There is only one dislike on this video. Shame to whoever it is
Btw hopefully you get your bejesus back soon!
You should visit the Northeast Tarrant Coin Club in Bedford, Texas next Thursday!
RobFindsTreasure why pull out 1959 pennies
There is something so satisfying about watching you coin roll hunt.
Lol yeah
Holy cow, a holey Indian Head Cent! Great boxes! The 1881 Hungary copper was sweet as well!!
Holey cow!

I havent heard "scared the bejesus out of me" in a long time . almost spit my coffee out. Lol great hunt
I literally heard Rob say that about a second after reading your comment! LOL
Great finds! You should remind the newer viewers that all Canadian cents 1996 and older are copper
Wife was at work the other day and found a crazy penny. She was handing out change and looked down to see a 1906 Indian head penny. Sweet score rite? What do you think?
You are right, that is a score! They are worth $3 in circulated condition.
I thought that was very fun. Gotta love those pennies. Here in South Carolina I practically jump out of my seat when I see an S mintmark. Thank you!!
If it's okay with Rob I'll have someone send my address to him and I'll send you some minted pennies we have to get in touch with each other though
I absolutely love coin roll hunting, no matter what the denomination.
You’re a good presenter Rob. It’s not easy making an exciting coin video. I enjoy the videos.
On that 1962 Canadian, look for what’s known as the “Hanging 2” variety. I have a couple of them myself. Great video!

Thanks Joey and I did ship them so they are in route brother!
Sorry I missed the great video! Fantastic Finds first time for me to see that 1881 & especially in a coin roll Hunt! 👍👍👍👍
I just started collecting pennies. I got my first wheat Penny😺
Awesome!
You got me hooked. Love watching you do coin hunts.
The IHC is amazing. I've never found one of those. My grandfather, who hunted in the 1950's and 60's, found about a dozen of them.
I love coin hunting. Don't know what I'm looking for half the time but I'm learning more about it
I’m pretty sure they had key rings in 1885 because the type of key and lock we use today has been around since the 1860’s. Awesome hunt brother very fun to watch. Indian Head Penny in the box you cant get mad at that!
This was so enjoyable to watch. You make pennies worth the while to look for. Oh yeah!
Do you keep all of your copper pennies and if you do for what reason? And depending on your reason, would you recommend other collectors to keep them as well?
Nice finds. With an IHP and 1918 and 1920 plus some S mints. You can't get mad at that.
That was so much fun Rob i didnt want it to end! The 2 in 1800s were so special. I dont have an Indian but i do enjoy looking for them.
That 1 1969S looks like someone used a lite punch on it
Loved watching this video!! Penny hunts are so entertaining!! Thanks
WOW 1885 Indian, I wouldn't care it was beat up either. Some cool finds 1881 from i forget now lol, still cool, Another great video Rob you where made for this Brother.

Wow more really amazing unboxing video!!! :D
Another awesome penny hunt. Keep them coming.
Hey Rob I was wondering what you do with all the coins that you dont want. Do you just send them back to the bank?
Wow san fransisico boxrs have such a variety of finds. Nice hunt!
Wow rob, the old Indian head penny and the old Hungarian coin is a good sign that the Bay Area is the way to go. My best foreign was a 1952 nickel from Luxembourg
Wow, what a fun hunt! Thanks for sharing!
Two from the 1800's is pretty cool.Especially that Hungarian. Very nice hunt. Thanks for the great video Rob.
Your channel is my favorite I binge watch your videos. You inspired me to hunt. Good luck :)

Always nice to find wheat pennies
So luck Rob, I have no more pennies. But i heard some banks might still have some they haven't sent off to melt yet. I'll be asking.
Fun hunt! Love the penny videos!
Your Indian-Head find reminds me of the time my wife pulled an 1889 penny in decent shape from the random coins in the bottom of her purse. Totally unexpected.
Love your modo , if you don’t look for it you won’t find it 😊
Nice, I love me some S's, found a 1952 S penny last week.
1940 s in some pocket change
Hey Rob great videos, but what do you do with all the copper ?
Very nice penny unboxing.
I live about 90 miles from the San Francisco mint I have found three 2017 p pennies good luck in the hunt
Just a quick question if I join your Coin channel can I send you pictures of coins that I have questions on possibly answer those for me and see how much you think they’re worth and if this is the case can you tell me which one should I join
Rob, I have a stupid question. How can you tell what is copper and what is zink just by looking at them?
Copper is some of 1982 and all earlier. Zinc is all of 1983 and later, some of 1982.
Excellent hunt!! Love these boxes! Thank you Rob!
Awesome hunt Rob💥💥💥 Not Bad at All 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Curious what the significance of the 1974-s is? Low mint? Error / variety? Or just cool? Thanks for all the time you put into all these great videos for everyone!!
You just don't see a lot of 68-74 s mint pennies. They aren't really worth anything, but that isn't the point of doing this.
How do you get so many boxes of circulated pennies? When I get them from my bank they are all brand new pennies.
This was fun. You found some cool things in these boxes. :)
Great video Rob! Can’t wait till you find that beloved 1969-S DDO
WOW!!! ROB! LOVE THAT INDIAN HEAD PENNY! GREAT FIND! I CAN TELL IN YOUR VOICE YOU DID HAVE A LOT OF FUN!!) (HAHA) KEEP UP THE GOOD FINDS !MY FRIEND:) OH AN CONGRADULATIONS ON THE WIN WITH SILVER NITRATES:) G A W

I have a question, so how much about in box usps inside of box of pennies?
Wow such amazing finds Rob you got to get you some more boxes!!!
Nice finds rob a few days ago I hunted a box and got a King George the 6th 1949 Canadian penny and a 1964 young head Canadian penny.
Wow insane find!
Great Vid! Now you got me singing “If you’re going to San Francisco” sung by Sean Connery in The Rock!
I recently hunted my first penny box and when my mom walked over, I found a 1920!
What do you do with the zincs? Don't the banks tell you they won't take them?
I loved the video nice Indian head and foreign hope you get more
Nice finds my friend!😀👏👏 i wish i would have found that nice forn coin 😔 it looks beautiful!
Recent sub & new to coin vids. Found myself going through my coin jug 😂 found a dozen wheat P's, 9 silver nickel's, one silver qtr and one 05 MN proof qtr. I'm afraid that I will be buying some boxes this week.
Where do you get the mouse pads with the coin informarion? I would love to get several of them.
I just found my first Indian head penny today, in a California box of pennies! It is a 1906 in really good condition! I also got a 1974 s!
Nice hunt! Do you save 2017 P pennies? Just curious 😀
What is special about them?
@@justinshoats6989 It is the only year the Philadelphia mint added the "P" MM onto the obverse of the coin.
Hey Rob! I checked out my first Red Book from the library. I want to own a coin shop when I’m older so I think it would be good to study it during summer vacation
Holy moly!! I think some of those coins escaped from Alcatraz. Watch out for the Feds!!
Awesome finds!!
Sweet finds!!!
Question: What do you do with the coppers you set aside?
I don't actively coin hunt or anything. But I do find it surprising how often I get 100 year old wheat pennies in my change. I get 4-5 a year just from routine trips to the store. Even got a 1909 a few years ago (not the good one).
Wow, you smaked the zink out of them before you even opened the boxes 😆
I just found a 1955 S wheaties in what must be MS or as near as anything could get it was weird, looked like a 2000's coin at first glance.
Will Conner That Penny is worth 20-100 $!
