    Cool. I've done it a few times but I don't think it ever gives the same traction. Someone advised in using coconut oil, but It only made it slipperier.

    Do you live in South Africa because I recognise that cooking oil is from spar and there are spar’s in South Africa as well and plus I don’t think you’d surf in the UK since there is not good surf, so that’s why I was just wondering

      Maybe you could chuck a bit of lavender or eucalyptus oil in with it next time to make it smell nice n lush

    Thanks lady for that video. But for me I can’t see what the point in melting old wax. If you going to do that, you might aswell leave it on the board.

      Well actually surfers do that about every year and put a new coat of wax. There is a point

      beeswax (3/4) and coconut oil (1/4)
      Ecofrendly and cheaper too! I always make my own wax
