Had skipped that bit, got me creasing😂😂😂. Going to be interesting practicing this after seatbelt and kimora grips ingrained into me for a couple years!
I trained traditional bjj and I always preferred deep pinning pressure from side control or mount, not to 'allow' the back. Maybe my middle and high school wrestling background helped with that. Makes sense to me to try to keep them in the position I already have them in, and if I want to advance to a better position I will do it on my terms, not by giving them space to move.

@@lastmanstanding5423nah the sit and scoot. It’s only a handful of guys that get up and work for a takedown or advance from a seated position. The rest scoot around and have you play in their guard
The only problem with this tho is most people don't care about standing up in BJJ . Coming from a wrestling background and seeing people comfortable on their back is always cringe for me , I get it's the sport but cmon get up lol
Wrestling does something similar, but instead give their backs, especially by way of laying on their stomach. Very strange to watch. Obviously I would get absolutely smashed by any of the guys who do this, but my point is sports are sports and they all have weird rules. Everyone's going to have their own opinion. MMA is where all the kinks get worked out because if they don't they'll get knocked out or choked out
Couldn’t agree more. This is simply MMA/ BJJ discovering fundamental wrestling. Recently went to a Pritt seminar and learned his new turtle game. Turned out to be a poor bottom game from the referee position. Tilts and rides for days…
Don't tell me you guys flew Craig all the way to Thailand just to show Leg Turk - Wrist Ride to the students? Any high school wrestling coach could've taught the same thing for one tenth of the price.
in a Street Fight you stay without arm ? :::: you will receive a elbow on face? jiujitsu is self defense too , and this isn't. but for championship Bjj okay ....at the Street , or mma I think didn't work
Who should we bring to Bangtao for our next seminar?
the BMF Max Blessed Holloway 🤙
Lachlan Giles
Kade Ruotolo
Mighty Demetrious Johnson 💪😄
conor McGregor
1:05 "Everything he showed today you can find in Tuesday, Thursday wrestling class, for a day-pass"
Truest words ever spoken.
mastery. can watch Craig teach/practice/compete all day every day. he makes it look so effortless.
Right?! Such a chill dude
Craig is such a good coach. You can't even tell he's drunk on nose beers 😂
Alot of this is from Craigs Power Ride instructional, great info and makes white belts absolutely miserable when you roll with them
love that instructional...
and as a white belt I love bullying other white belts with it :)
Thank you, I am currently doing my Bachelor in Arts of Pinning an this helps a lot
Good stuff. This is one of the reasons I do catch wrestling.
1:36 incredible arm bar

One of best BJJ fighter and I can say the best
Best silver medalist

Wrestling top control is making its way into bjj ❤️🔥 great to see
Its even better than it is in wrestling because we don't care if were pinning shoulder to the mat facing us or facing away.
i really like how folk wrestling is getting the recognition it deserves
Absolute gold.
Love how Craig has become a Catch wrestler through and through.
man what I would pay to see Craig jones vs khabib.
That comedians got some good jiu jitsu. Great engaging teaching.
I feel like I should be paying for this lol
2nd best seminar most people have ever been to.
Craig should no longer be considered a BJJ guy. He's a Submission Wrestler.
same with the majority of modern NoGi game
He's only "bjj" in rhetoric. Dude has been Catch wrestler for the good part of the last decade already.

The Helio Gracie side bellied people down like this vs doing chair sit back takes. The ibjjf ruleset has really morphed BJJ into a weird sport.

the armbar at 2:50 had my jaw dropped
free daegestani seminar!!!.. oss
Full of gems
Great preview!
Craig is a better teaccher than Danaher for sure. He explains it so well!
Danaher is more focused on his athletes winning. Craig thinks more in terms of where grappling should go and MMA.
Craig has an amazing hairline for a 50 year old... I want to know his secret
Being gay obviously.
Is there a part 2? Eagerly awaiting.
Just dropped!
Great video!

Agree 💯. It should be at least 1 pt if bottom man can stand up. It would change the game to be way more exciting.

Turning your back and staying belly down makes sense for wrestling I get it its a sport lol. Same concept!
Then make it uncomfortable for them to be on the ground that’s the whole point of Craig jones pinning series
wow amazing
how to finish from here though?! i find strangling in just bjj (not mma) to be kinda hard belly down especially on a short chin big guy...
all gold
10:29 Ankle Ride vs Reinforced Ankle Ride
It's called Outside Ankle Ride
Get this guy a Zyn.
10:33 gold

Bro always picks the smallest person to demonstrate on
You can watch his victory against Meregali or Pena if you want to see bigger guys...
To label Craig jones as a world champion is criminal
😅
That's that lgbteam
Sounds more and more like judo … I wonder if there is a commonality 🤔

I think you don't know shit m8
The guy giggled when you flattened him out. 🍩 Very inappropriate. But necessary?....
