I met Paul Senior in April. He was pleasant and offered to take pictures with us. We didn’t ask for pics or anything. We just saw him sitting at the bar. As we walked by we said hi. He stopped us and took the time to have a conversation. Seemed like a decent dude.
I will never get over finding out that they didn’t really build the Geico Chopper.

Choppers didn't start out as fancy art pieces that couldn't be rode. Choppers literally meant that everything unnecessary is CHOPPED off. True choppers are very minimal bare bones bikes. A throttle, a brake and a if you're lucky you get a Speedo 😂
Back in the day they did make TRUE raked out choppers but then they veered off track sometime in their show. Their early bikes were actually pretty nice
Honestly the video game was really fun when i was younger. You get to drive custom choppers around an open world, but i dont remeber to many of the story missions
I'm from Duchess County NY. Just across the Hudson River from Orange County NY. I was a contractor on the OCC building. I made a lot of money from that job and it was a cool building and a awesome restaurant Paul had. To bad non of it lasted long.
Like Donnie Diapers he has an abundance of emotional volatility and vision but lacks intelligence and a business acumen to foster those visions.
I didn't watch this show much but in hindsight I would love to have that time back.

I've been to the OCC Roadhouse in Florida and that was a good time. They have some cool bikes inside on display and the food was good. Real biker stuff. Sometimes you can sometimes catch Paul Sr. hanging around there.
Crazy story, loved that show. Not surprised the bikes are not the best, they are more sculptures than vehicles to be driven.
Those episodes were sad. Sr lowkey reminded me of my dad. He was a union excavation operator and had a pretty vicious temper and my brother was one of the only people that could tolerate working for him.
While the drama could be annoying, it's pretty important to document the toxic work/family relationships that can grow.

The thing about choppers, yes they are art, yes they are uncomfortable and awkward to ride. But that doesn't mean they're not meant to be ridden. How many hot rods out there are comfortable, or ride like an every day car? Some, but not many! And those that are i would call barely even hot rods.
Paul Sr. is actually really cool. A lot of the "drama" content was demanded by the Discovery. Check out the interview with Paul Sr. on the Oil & Whiskey Ironclad podcast. It's a good one.

I have 2 brothers and a sister. Was raised as an only child moving around California from one apartment to another/ family members house. So im a mix of only child and middle child syndrome.. im fine i am. Lol. We all have different dads or Mother's.The last time I saw one my older brothers. He kicked me in the face as we were running up stairs to go play mario 3. I fell down the stairs and broke my nose His dad said it was because the divorce was rough on him.(2nd divorce not my mom) His dad never let him visit us again.We didn't see him again until he was 19 going into the Marines in like 2001 .
