    Yes...the 80% rule exists. The standard circuit breaker is 80% rated so you can not load it to full rating continuous. Nobody understands this but its such an easy concept.

    There is no 80% rule, there are continuous duty rules. The 80% shenanigans were removed from the nec and replaced with continuous duty in like the 2000s
