All tiller steered outboards are designed to be controlled with the left hand and seated on the right. I am amazed at how many skippers sit on the left. Good wishes from Canada.
What a little beast looks awesome and you had a great session to boot what a great inspiration you guys are these are truly family days the kids will never forget great video as always 😁 HAPPY DAYS 👍
What a great session ! The Fishing Warriors have come so far in a short time. Great video , thanks for sharing with us. P.s. Love the boat , so many options 👍
I have been waiting to check out the boat after hearing about it - such a good setup. Can't wait to see the videos that come next :) That little battery operated pump will be a real time saver too
I’ll be on the Gold Coast early March if you guys are around I’d love to go fishing I have my own boat and it would be awesome to have some fishing buddies to go out with
Thanks for that 👍. Be bought it from facebook marketplace! Was still new the guy we bought it from had never used it, so we were very lucky! There is a Gold Coast based online place called Big Duck Inflatables, we were looking at them also 👍👍
Next time make sure you infallible is up to psi as it still has wrinkles in it amd woth alum floor it will not work realy good amd slow your motor down also put your baot together on flat groin that way the almium floor fits tight amd the backer that go on the inside so when you blot it up to the psi it will s push on the almium floor and make it more stable amd run better bit cool video also they have a infallible dolly so you can push it down or the beach amd put it in the water just a fyi tho but cool family video
If you end up with a reel in the sandy salt water. Don’t spin it until you have fresh water to wash it. That reel will need a good service after a dunk like that.
I've been thinking about getting a little inflatable like this. How do you find it a few months in? Worth getting still or has the novelty worn off? I love the idea of an inflatable, no trailer, rego, licence, insurance, battling the boat ramps, not having to have somewhere to park it on your property. My only concerns are does it become too big a hassle to take out and set up? I can see myself thinking 'can't be bothered' and just heading out for some simple land based fishing!
I love it still 👍. I think its the best thing we have spent our money on, yes it takes a little time to set up and pack away but you dont need to pay regos or insurances for it and you can put it in almost anywhere. I guess it would take about the same time with a tinny on a trailer, going to get your car bring it to the ramp and load boat on and then clean it down when get home 😁. I think ours is easier 😁. You can get an option with inflatable floor and that makes it lighter again 👍. I love our little RIB and totally recommend it to anyone 👌
@@fishingwarriorz Cool, looking around now! I got one of the Intex inflatable kayaks last year, it is pretty cool and much easier to pump up than I expected. And that is with the hand pump that comes with it! Might get a DC Pump for the car from Bunnings to make it faster and easier. I was looking at one of the Intex inflatable boats, only $199 for the 4 person from Costco. But the Big Duck looks a lot more durable and practical. I like the look of the solid floor and seats. I think that would be more comfortable than just a inflatable seat! Might see what's on Marketplace as well!
@@conwaylewis2300 yeah i would stay away from Intex brand, you need a real Rib so much more durable and build for the waterways, Big Duck was our first choice also but looked on marketplace and found a family selling their Bris inflatable still brand new just that they thought it was too big for being a tender for them, we saved $400 which was a good find👍. You need one like ours so it can handle a motor on it and not be too heavy they are so stable i love it, bcf also sell one at the moment thats on club price, whitworths also sell one, just depends on your price range and size you want. We bought a portable battery powered ozito inflater from bunnings, easy and quick, you really dont want one that plugs into car as you might need to walk down to beach and then blow up like we do. Hope this helps but i recommend going for the real inflatable boat not an Intex, just my opinion 👍😊
@@fishingwarriorz Yeah, we did notice the Intex Kayak isn't the most stable or comfortable. I wonder if one of those electric Watersnake motors would do the job on the Big Duck? I didn't realise how expensive even little 6hp petrol outboards are! The canopy is a great idea too, keeps the sun off everyone!
@@conwaylewis2300 yeah depends on how far you want to travel in one, i think the saltwater watersnakes shafts are too long, sits too deep in the water so hard to scoot over shallows, and the shorter shafted ones are suited to kayaks then they arent powerful enough i think, thats just what we got told , you would have to do some research on it i guess, we got our 3.5 hp for about $1400 which is pretty good i thought 😁
We were prepared to pay $1100 for a Big Duck brand from here on the Gold Coast brand new but was hunting around on marketplace and come across a nice family selling their Bris Brand inflatable had never used it for only $700 we saved ourselves $400 bucks and still managed to get it as new👍👍. Winning, we love it 👌
We have a 3.5 hp Tohatsu . Its ok, gets you from A to B lol. We dont travel far anyways. Of course it goes a bit faster with the two of us. If we had the money we would of got the 5 hp would be much better i think 👍
@@MyTyeman yeah she was hoping for a big one! We use 1/0 or 3/0 depending on what size bait we are using, i use a 3/0 more when we are fishing off the rock wall, we do get bream on the 3/0 too 👍😊. I had on a small whiting hook and got all those fish using it and the 51cm flatty on it too👌
@@robdogj yeah the convenience of it is great, i guess limited to where you can launch it need to be careful but we always find easy sandy spots! Definitely needs min 6 hp to move it along, we have aluminium flooring which is quite heavy, if there was an option for blow up floor we probably would get that second time round, but overall its to easy and sturdy which i love easy getting over the sandy banks a lot of fun thats for sure 👍👍👍. Hope info helps 😁
@@fishingwarriorz if I had the funds.. I would buy a bigger version of it. Which I will one day. Great quality so far. I’ve put an 8 hp Yamaha on and she flys!
@@arfeentube haha geez i bet it would😁. We love ours too it does the job and gets us out on the water, we don’t have boat licence so thats what we decided on and keeps costs down also 👍
@@fishingwarriorz I use 25ph on my inflatable if i am carrying a lot of people 2 people 9.9hp more then enough! You can go upto 40km! 25ph double the speed of your alone or with just one person! Here in Melbourne you need a license for all powered vessels even if it’s 5hp

Use a portable fast air blower pumps the air fast in 5 min then hand pump to get correct pressure. Well done sarah very nice flatty
Oh yeah, we bought the ozito as it was cheap and we already had the batteries to match 😁
That was a nice day fishing. It's great that you can pack the boat in the car.

Lol, was so funny, would of liked to captured the whole thing 🤣🤣 👍
Just a little hint guys. from an old guy
When netting flatty's come in from behind that way they don't see the net and take off.
Ok cheers for that 👍. It was a little hard to see in the water on that day, was moving everywhere 😆
What bait do you guys use we go fishing some times so just wandering what bait u guys use
We mostly use prawns. We buy our prawns from Dreyer’s Bait Shop. They have a facebook page check em out, they are in Eagleby if you are local👍😁.
Thank u so much hopefullly we’ll get something goood
