Ice cream and Cookie Scoop review

Hi I’m Dionne! Today I’m going to give a quick review of these Ice Cream and Cookie Scoops also known as Dishers. I use these to portion out cookie scoops. They are branded as Ice-Cream Dishers but we in the cookie making world definitely know and use these because of the variety of sizes they offer. You can buy these Ice Cream and Cookie Scoops on Amazon from many different manufacturers. Different companies OEM these scoops but I’ll leave a link company where I bought mine from. No affiliates and I do not get paid. I simply bought these and thought I would give my opinion.
There are 9 different color and portions sizes for you to choose from and the box shows a diagram for you and is marked from largest size in ounces to smallest.
Each scoop is designated by FOUR different Characteristics if you will.
A Number;
Diameter of the Scoop Size;
The capacity of the scoop in ounces;
And finally a handle color.
Here are the things I like about the scoopers -
Made of 18-8 stainless steel bowl and components to prevent corrosion.
Provide pretty accurate and consistent measurements. For me it beats scooping and weighing my cookie dough on a scale.
Definitely ideal for softer foods and batters. I like to chill my cookie dough in the refrigerator overnight for flavor development and you can’t scoop the dough right out of the fridge. I’ve broken scoops doing this before so they are not that durable. So after I mix my dough I scoop out, place the cookies on a tray and move to the refrigerator to set.
They store well in the box and can stack. This makes it easy for me to review the color coded handle and size I want.
Dishwasher safe although I hand wash mine but they state you can use in a commercial washer.
Price point is affordable
