orionzeden some people insist that you can't like one band because you don't like x band which supposedly is 'greater'. I, for example, don't like black sabbath, which, ironacly was very commerce oriented band. But not only that, I don't like how they sound. I didn't like Dio too. But I do enjoy motorhead a lot. I like sweden melodeath along with many other genres which do not even originate from metal scene (for example Enter Shikari) Anyway, some people think they can call me poser because I supposedly attempt to pose as a metalhead or deather or whatever the fuck they have in their minds, but do not like those particular bands. That's retarted. It's like they put a label on someone themselves and then judge you for wearing it. But even if I was that narrow minded idiot, who difines himself through the genre of music he's into, such judgment would be utterly stupid. Anyway, I find your opinion here which suggests that the OP would be wrong under your named condition to be somewhat familiar with the experiences I sometimes get myself into durning music festivals.
You guys seem to be very aware and intelligent in this subject matter, and both are correct. There's no need to analyzes our comment in such detail though, just listen to what you enjoy :)
Absolutely. But I've listened to British bands for a long time now dating back to the Beatles and Rolling Stones and Shikari is top of the heap for me at this point! Been listening since 2007 and they have only gotten better with each album
I can't believe I am 33 years old, been listening to most variations of rock/metal almost all my life and just TODAY I discovered this incredible group? what a GREAT day omfg
This band is a complete breath of fresh air. They are innovative and creative in their music. They are also socially aware. They preach freedom and liberty from the shackles of traditionalism and dogmatism. They admire science and its method. They are extremely human and seem to enjoy exploration and promote curiosity. Thanks Enter Shikari - a truly remarkable band.
they always have been. in my opinion the have never released one song that was below average! I love all their songs and thats saying alot coming from a classic rock/classic metal worshipper lol
i do have many songs i don't like by them, i feel like sometimes they go too far with the synths and i know they can do better but that's just my opinion, some of thier earlier stuff will always hold a part in my heart.
jacob rohland agreed..totally underrated...I'm American and they are one of my fav bands period..and I grew up a metal/punk rocker...these guys are one of a kind..unbelievably talented..this is one of the best records ever..
Can we talk for a sec how fucking amazing that 2:50 riff sound? Could easily listen to this part on a loop! oh and yeah I almost forgot this band is totally underappreciated. I guess tellin the facts doesn't grow much of a crowd these days.
Timeless for sure, their older stuff still sounds modern . No one has really tried, or been able to, copy them which is how they retain their unique sound and it stays unaffected by time.
It was so much fun being a scientist for you guys ;P YOU GUYS ROCK! I had so much fun being a part of this video! This is still one of my favorite music videos that I have been a part of :]
Rob is the most performing and experimental drummer I've ever known. His style is so badass, difficult and nice to hear :D Enter Shikari's drum parts are the hardest i've ever tried. I definitely love that band :D Speak of a drummer.
I have to disagree with you in terms of being the most experimental. His drumming is basic but clean with his trickier parts mostly consisting of paradiddles and off beats, definitely nothing to be amazed about. On a high note though he is without a doubt one of the hardest working and entertaining live drummers iv had the chance to see, and that to me is far more important that skill and technical ability.
chris nash Of course, caring about the listeners is, to me, the most important thing for an artist, and we can't blame Enter Shikari about that ! Just seen their live videos, i'd like to see them for real, i'm sure i won't be deceived
alexcuseME Seeing them live is well worth the price of admission, im not the biggest shikari fan but my god the atmosphere and presence the band has is astounding.
Still listen to this record every week without fail...this is their Master Of Puppets record so to speak. Their swan song of an album. It's absolutely AMAZING all the way through. This is my fav track on it. I only wish Destabilize was on this.

2:50-3:14 So good part. Best of the okay song That part elevates Should consider marking a remix revolving around that part! Soon you'll perform in Hungary. I hope I can attend!
How many of you blatantly miss the point of this song and most of Shikari's songs?! Start taking a stand against austerity poverty and en slavement by our governments. Th er y continue to make themselves obscenely rich at the cost of killing thousands in the M.E. Power to the People long live ES
+Shikari Wallabe what's wrong with killing the masses to make yourself riches, some people are happy with a little, some are happy with a lot, it doesnt effect you, let them get on with it
its not just targeting mainstream music, its more about how in music in general and as a whole the artists of a genre will make an exact replica of other artists and how very few bands actually have any unique attributes, so its not just pop/mainstream music, its the music industry as an entity
i hate that people say to me i shouldn't listen to this type of music cause i am half black when there are tons of white kids that get away with listening to rap
See what I really love about this band, is that when I feel like humanity sucks and theres no reason to even trying being nice to anyone cause theyre just egocentric jerks anyway, these guys give me hope. Hope in humanity and that you Can make a difference. That there are still smart people out there and that we have something to fight for.
I dont know how anyone could consider themselves a fan, but dislike the new or old stuff. Its called progress, no band always sounds the same, and enter shikari has just constantly put out good shit.
Listened to them many years ago and recently came back and found out they still make music, and then it turns out Enter Shikari are an amazing fucking band.
you know i feel the take it to the skies album is a hard one to beat (i consider it to be one of the best albums to date)... as much as i love that album i can safely say that i see how theyve improved as musicians i love there new stuff its different but theyve stayed true to who they are which is beyond awesome =)
One of the strongest songs they've ever written and probably my favorite on AFFOC. Which is really, really hard to quantify because the entire album is a joy to listen to in one sitting.
I will never stop being overly-obsessed with this band, been listening since The Zone. This is fucking perfect. I love seeing their style evolve in such unique ways.
I got into an argument about people ignoring thermometers so I UA-cam searched arguing thermometers and found this band. Luck strikes again. The universe has my back. This is proof.
amazing. The messages portrayed in the video are so powerful. This is why I am a lion. Shikari never fails to tell the truth and speak out. If we just all join together we CAN change the world.
It made lots of sense. It represents how the music industry forces out copies of the same old generic music which isn't as good as something original, and how we need to stop this.
In my opinion, the best british band of this decade - hands down ;)
orionzeden some people insist that you can't like one band because you don't like x band which supposedly is 'greater'. Sikth.
And they still are! My favorite band of all time after almost 15 years of listening!
Absolutely. But I've listened to British bands for a long time now dating back to the Beatles and Rolling Stones and Shikari is top of the heap for me at this point! Been listening since 2007 and they have only gotten better with each album

Holy balls i'd say you had a good month! Your neighbours also listen to Enter Shikari now ha
@@adammccormack4961that reminds me of their song No Sleep Tonight ! 😂
Enjoy my friend. I had a similiar epiphany in 2016 with these. My absolute favourite band.
Bro go from every album. I’m 31 but been listening since from take the the skies.
One of the best bands ever. Welcome brother
This band is a complete breath of fresh air. They are innovative and creative in their music. They are also socially aware. Still relevant to this day.
Samuel Lourenço Jacob i cant stop myself from crying when I listen to this album
The best description of Enter Shikari I have yet seen. Congratulations Sir!
i do have many songs i don't like by them, i feel like sometimes they go too far with the synths and i know they can do better but that's just my opinion, some of thier earlier stuff will always hold a part in my heart.
they have always been an under rated band.
Yes! I TOTALY agree! Im german but they are my favorite band!
i agree i was literally just thinking that when i looked at the subscribers
jacob rohland agreed..totally underrated...I'm American and they are one of my fav bands period..and I grew up a metal/punk rocker...these guys are one of a kind..unbelievably talented..this is one of the best records ever..
they are too gay
there is no such thing
This song still gives me goosebumps after all these years
good music never gets old
Absolutely
This song makes me so happy in so many ways.
Am I the only person who thinks this the the best Enter Shikari song?
Its criminal that this song isnt mainstream. At least we who know about it can enjoy it.

Screw off.
Have a nice day, you're amazing ☺

it’s tricky to play on guitar, but a ton of fun!
timeless band, i’ve come back to their music 8 years later and it feels like just yesterday
Timeless for sure, their older stuff still sounds modern . No one has really tried, or been able to, copy them which is how they retain their unique sound and it stays unaffected by time.
y do i always get chills, when the "flash flood of colour" bit happens :P
BOOM RAINBOWS!

2:50 I give you the best music enter shikari has ever written
the riff from 2:52 is life changing. glad this is the next single
nobody will ever sound like shikari
Still listen to this record every week without fail...this is their Master Of Puppets record so to speak. Their swan song of an album. It's absolutely AMAZING all the way through. This is my fav track on it. I only wish Destabilize was on this.
After 2:50 this song just gets RIDICULOUS! To this day I can't understand how Rory C pulls that riff out the bag
That riff was sensual.
This song actually makes me emotional for some reason, amazing riff😳😳
Enter Shikari wins the best song lyrics award. Seriously all of their songs are just. AHHHHHH
Miss the days vibing to these
felt this.. but at the same time.. still here vibin
@@timothycannon3841yeah same mate haha
I listened to this song on repeat pretty much the entire time I was reading the Blood Lad manga so now I can't stop associating them.

Going to see them March 23rd at the Roxy...I'm so excited!! Been a fan for 6 years and this will be my first time seeing them live. FINALLY!!!!!!
Roxy, as in Vancouver? If so, jealous!!!
In love with this song....and search party ofc
A Flash Flood of Colour, has to be, without a doubt, my favourite album of all time.

I went to their Chicago show that year. Super dope.
@@vancura71they actually didn’t end up coming to my city that year💀 I still haven’t seen them 😭
I've had this song on repeat all week, I don't think I'll ever have enough of it!
This song goes straight to David Cameron lots of love northeast England and scotland
Down with the child murdering pig fucker!
+Christopher Kendall The fact that you guys have a Head of State that has literally face fucked a pig kind of makes me happy in a weird fucked up way.
Our head of state is queen Elizabeth not cameron
jamie meskill I meant head of government, not head of state, my bad, really stupid mistake by my part.
Carson Troeh at least our head of state isn't a fucking reality TV star who got rich off daddy's money... lol
2:50-3:14

What about cold ones?
You meant: Walmart Waiters Not Make You Well Done There???
I've been listening to Shikari for like 5 years and somehow I've only seen like 2 music videos earlier than The Mindsweep. Time to binge.
Why does this song remind me of Attack On Titan? Hmph
Jordyn McCollum cause some titans have smiles but they aren't welcome
Ehhh not really
I was just scouring the internet for bands like them...there truly is nothing that can even compare to Enter Shikari. They're a whole new genre.
i hate that people say to me i shouldn't listen to this type of music cause i am half black when there are tons of white kids that get away with listening to rap
fuck them.
no matter black or white, listen to what sounds music in your ears m8
Thanks guys
Music transcends colour, it's all about soul
They put dubstep in with guitars, they are revolutionary.
And they're phenomenal live.

Known this band since 2007. They have changed over the years but still turn out to be amazingly good. Keep up the good WORK

So pleased this is their new single. By far the best song on the album!
It made lots of sense. It represents how the music industry forces out copies of the same old generic music which isn't as good as something original, and how we need to stop this.
