Thank You very much for the clear, informative tutorial! I'm doing apartment maintenance in Norman, Oklahoma. We have compact GE washers that look very similar to your LG. I was called to check out a tenants washer that would cycle just fine until it came to spin. Would never have considered that the fault may be with a short in the water intake solenoid. Now I have a fix to try.
I don't have a multimeter at the moment and I wanted to test my solenoid. You gave such a good advice is to bypass the solenoid and start spinning mode. If the drum start turning it means defective solenoid. Thank you so much.

Check the piece of magnet fix on the lid wich use to send the door closed signal. When it loos this error could occur. It is a common problem for this machine.

Bro excellent job N nice language and presentation i am going to subscribe you. U deserve it. I am also doing some maintenance of equipments. Same LG unit almost same fault am facing now. When i was not in my house, someone attended the issue 2 time and bribed 2000 twice still there is same issue. While washing several times its stopping. When i refresh the connection or reset the wiring again its running. Could you tell me what will be the issue.
Thank you. Check bothe water intake valve solenoid and the water level sensor one by one. This knid of errors could occur due to both components.

Hi Ravi,my LG top load does not take in water during rinse cycle and there isvoice coming,spin cycle works fine,.water intake is fine during soak or wash.what could be issue.

I have the 8.2Kg machine which is almost identical and does not spin, when carrying out the the same test at 3 the drum does not spin but I get a DE flashing on the display - is this the same problem with the water level switch?
Hi Brian mine is doing just that. Flashing DE which means distribute evenly. Did this with no success even when machine is empty. Did you end up fixing the issue. Thank you in advance

Hi Ravi! when the machine is in wash, the bottom makes a lot of noise like bearing sounds and the wash sometimes doesnt move. But during spinning it spins ok. Any idea why? thanks
First check the belt tention which spin the drum by a motor. And check washing parts inside the drum which is use for wash cloths by rotating. Sometimes they might be loos.

Hello. I have Samsung top loader 7,5kg has the same problem. If the water in take valve is not the problem what else could be the problem. Thanks.
If other functions work properly, problem might be in water level indicater switch. Just reset it by removing it's small hose from the tub end and blow it by mouth, if you hear clicking sound that mean switch is ok and reconnect it to the tub. Next look for the drain hose and the filter is it blocked, if so clean it, these two options also can cause to stop some option in a properly working washing machine.
My LG washing machine has been out of order since its door magnet lost; a "dE" warning in its indicator has also appeared..Sir, could you show a video on how to repair it? Thank you very much and more power!

This is a simple case you can fix it by yourself.
If you have the piece of magnate replace it in the socket on the door where it was and tape it on to avoid loos it again. Otherwise you have to find same size of a piece of magnate to hold on the door.
Otherwise if you have a removed speaker which has magnate behind it or bit bigger other piece of magnate you can use to put on the door affter close it. Just put it on the edge of the door where original magnate was placed and move slowly left or right until dE error gone., but don't move too far from the middle of the door. when dE error disappeared, that is the point where you must put the magnate evertime you use the washing machine. But best way is replace the piece of magnate in the original place where it was built. Best luck

After removing the wire from the Water intake valve solenoid, the spin still does not work. Does that means the Water intake valve solenoid is OK ?
Water level sensor may cause this issue.

Hello I have I problem with my LG FUZZY LOGIC. THE PROBLEM OF MY WASHING MACHINE IS THAT WHEN EVERY TIME I WASH THE DRAIN MOTOR IS PULLING THE DRAIN PLUG AND IT WILL NOT MAINTAIN THE WATER REQUIRED to wash spin.. but when I disconnect the hook on the drain plug. It will wash and I put i back again so that it pulls the drain motor to drain so it will continue to spin....
What is the required step to fix this

Mainly this error could occur due to Bad water level sensor. Better you replace it first as it is not so expensive. But this error could occur due to bad drain valve motor or bad mother board too. But mostly my experience with this machine with the bad water level sensor.

Check both water intake valve and water level sensor, they could make this kind of faults. Also drain valve or pcb, stuck drain hose could be. Check one by one.

Check the water level sensor, drain hose is not clogged and check drain valve too. Hard to say what it is exact without inspection.

Rotation speed depend on the washing option you select. Fuzzy mode or gentle mode like that.
Check it with different washing mode and different watter level without clothe to get an idea. If it is too slow just check the motor belt tention underneath.

Machine vibration could occur due to cloths twisting during the spinning. Just untwist cloths and start again the machine.

Yes, but sensor might be faulty with short circuit, then it affect for the other functions like wash and rinse. But it fill right water level eventhough . If you have a multimeter you can check it.

This might have a PCB error, disconnect power from main and leave it 15 20 minutes, and try it. Otherwise look for any small water leak somewhere in the system toward draining system after you re installed wich can make water level sensor confused.If not any issue, check the PCB by a professional person.
