Many MANY frickin buckets.
But the Lakers need 3 point shooting, not more midrange and in. They get plenty of that from AD and LeBron. They need players who spread the floor. DeRozan would help keep minutes down for LeBron during the regular season, but he's not what they need in the playoffs.

Demar isn't a 3 point shooter, but a midrange assassin, clutch performer and can make free throws down the stretch Lakers definitely need that.

Lakers 3rd option averaged 18pts last season and broke the franchise record for most 3’s made in a single season. And their fourth option averaged almost 15 points. The only other teams with comparable supporting casts were Boston, Indy, and NY. Lakers paid for their star players already. They just haven’t gotten a return on their investment.
None of that matters if they can’t be consistent. Talk about what the other options did in the playoffs 😂

DeMar DeRozan is not going to the Lakers. Like Moss said LeBron would not take another pay cut. He did it before in hopes of the Lakers landing Klay Thompson which didn’t happen because he chose to go to Dallas. DeMar should feel insulted LeBron was going take a pay cut for Thompson but not for DeRozan. On top of that LeBron opted to take Russell Westbrook when indeed DeMar DeRozan was interested in joining the Lakers but this LeBron playing GM and failing at it. DeMar go meet with Pat Riley and join the Miami Heat!
