Love & Rockets is one of my favorites of his. That song "Animal Style" was so pioneering and the beat is crazy.
Murs and Dee 1 have a whole album together, I'm the Christian, he's the Rapper. It's great. The cover is a fun spin on Jazzy Jeff and Fresh Prince, I'm the DJ, He's the rapper.

Its sad that souls like Dee-1 & Lacrae don’t get exposure because of the message they offer. Honestly glad Kendrick made many of us, me included conscious that there are goated rap artist out right now that differ from the modern nonsense that has become hiphop. I will be tuning in to both for sure

Lupe Fiasco introduced me to Dee-1 when he brought him on tour in 2013. A no named Dee-1’s performance was amazing! He definitely outperformed the other artist(who had some industry buzz) that Lupe had on that tour. I immediately became a fan

For those that don’t know she entered the industry 20+ years ago in a blaze of glory and faded away disheartened by the industry. Returned two decades later with a new message in alignment with the PLATINUM PLEDGE before its incarnation; minus the Christianity.
