What's better than fixing a dodgy water leak in the bulkhead... = mike doing another series of videos on refurbishment on the gear box and transfer case.. ha you a legend can't wait for the next series of making Land rovers better. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets inspired by you videos to get in and have a crack at making my land rover better too. 👍😀 great work .
Excellent job on the leak. Also, a completely rebuilt drivetrain will set this Defender apart from the ratty ones being peddled. Hope it brings you a nice premium!
I refer you back (again) to your comment when you bought it Mike, "Just a few little tidying-up jobs to do"... :) You're a man of conscience and a craftsman but you've definitely not mastered the art of flip-selling a vehicle old son. Great for the new owner though and brilliant for us!
Nice fix young felah,l tried to do the same on my hinges last year but couldn't get out those screws, even with a impact driver. Drilling them out when they start leaking will be the only option.
Thinking about it, if you don’t bother then we’ll have one video to watch as you put this engine back. If you do then there will be a video of you swapping the boxes, one putting the engine back and one of you rebuilding the Spanish box. Hmmmm Change it 😁
Well, the lucky new owner is getting a better 110 then from the factory. Great job !

You should offer exchange engine/gearbox/transfer case swaps. Drop off on a Monday, collect your 'new' defender on Friday, 👍
Not a bad idea

Hi quick question
Have you tried kilmat under hood and if you did what is your thought? Thank you
Mike. Wise words "Manuel's" drivetrain ! Could the 300Tdi/R380/LT-230T then find a home in a red Range Rover Classic ? V.
a film o naprawie turbo
How much is that thing worth with all that you have done to it. Is it going to bring in more money with a rebuilt trans and transfer case too.
Not really - not much money as you think - bit of time, but worth it to a customer who buys these dogs of imports unseen and untested
is this a $100K defender yet ?
Getting there!
