Cotton Boll is the whole cotton blossom on the plant, with the leaves still around the cotton.
Cotton Boll definition : The boll is the rounded mature fruit of the cotton plant. It is made up of separate compartments which are called locks, in which cotton seeds and lint grow. These open at harvest time.
Beauty Museums. Gotta love the way things change over time….
Thanks again for taking us along on Route 66 Guys 💕🥰🇨🇦😘🫶😍♥️
Loving this Route 66. The abandoned towns and buildings make me sad 😢. And love all the Elvis spots 😊
This was one of the best Rte 66 days! Wow. The Elk City "museum" was amazing. So glad to see what they've done with the "town." And that '30s Diner and plaza was such a blast from the past and in fabulous condition. Route 66 could make a comeback for families and retirees, to visit what Route 66 once had been. Hopefully they'll stop tearing down our history and instead, repurpose and restore the buildings. Great day!
The dude in overalls saying take all the pictures you want. Awesome. And dropped some knowledge. Most excellent.
26:14 This is one of the most gorgeously painted art murals I have ever seen. The Roger Miller 5-portrait scene with Rt 66 shield, an outstanding piece of artwork. THIS IS A MUST-SEE in PERSON. A++
Thank you Jordan and Scott for this vlog! My great-great grandma lived most of her 98 years in Shamrock. Such a quaint and historical place!
This was one of the best Route 66 videos yet . We enjoyed every minute. Thankyou Jordan and Scott !!
Really enjoying these longer episodes. Once more, there was an amazing amount packed into one vlog, from Roger Miller to John Steinbeck - Jordan and Scott you are truly 'Kings of the Road'.
Wow. All near where my Dad grew up. He calls a lot of his family pics the grapes of wrath era...
This was my favorite episode by far of your Route 66 trip, the Elvis booth at the U Drop Inn was awesome, the terrible demolition of the Motel where Elvis stayed made me sad but I'm looking forward to the next vlog from Texas.I'also enjoyed seeing a different side of Scott.
I started to watch this when I woke up this morning, but was distracted with terrible family drama.
I’m back to watch before I hit the sack. Thank you for helping me unwind. ❤️Jodie 🇦🇺
You’re hilarious, Jordan!! Thank you for your sense of humor!
A excellent view! Much appreciated, what a blast we are having watching this tour with Scott. Cheers!🙂✌🏼
Love it!! FYI ... here in the South, Conoco is pronounced Con-Uh-Coe!
That’s Reed Timmer’s storm chasing vehicle!! He’s fantastic.
Already in TEXAS! Wow!! Everyday is so exciting and interesting. I feel like I’m right there in person with you! Thanks, again!!
Sure enjoying tagging along on the Route 66 trip and seeing a bit of old Americana. Stay safe on the road.
Lots of awesome historical stuff to see in Elk City! That museum was really something. The one room schoolhouse was especially cool!!!
The Route 66 museum rocked it! I don't think anyone can top that video.
I want to go home with the armadillo good country music from Amarillo & Abilene!!!!!!!!! Loving this leg of the trip Jordan & Scott. Fine job.
What a cool trip, loved all the museums and old gas stations the Route just keeps getting better, Ty for all the wonderful finds, be safe jordan and Scott 🤗🐾😎
Thank you Jordan for sharing your trip I hope your Grandpa is doing well 💖
That cafe was beautiful. I hope route 66 is kept up and not let to go in disrepair. True American history.
Loved seeing all the old cameras. My aunt and uncle have a huge collection of old cameras starting from way back when they first came to be.
It’s true Jordan, parts of the old Route 66 towns that once were are so sad. Thank you for this greatest blog trip ever!!
Usually you do ALOT of research on certain topics which is great because I learn stuff but watching you guys do this is so fun. 👍🏼😎
Great great tour. Enjoyed the Elk City museum and that general store was awesome. Also cool was eating in Elvis's booth❤
Route 66 is amazing😊
Amazing how much Mater sounds like Harley 😀

Good morning from Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park Mr Lion 🏞️🐻🌄
Thank you
Jordan, really enjoying watching your travels down Route 66. It’s in my bucket list. Done some but not all. Great video editing and commentary.
Bill Mack wrote the song "Blue" that LeAnn Rimes recorded in 1994. Mack had originally written the song for Pasty Cline.
Great museum you toured. I love this trip so much, thanks. and please stay safe.
Lol a cotton "boll" is the cotton still in it's seed pod (usually still attached to the cotton plant). :D
It's so good you are doing these videos. We lose so much history every day. I loved this one too. Thank you for doing this for us. Can't wait for tomorrow's video. Take care.
I think in my opinion this was THE greatest vlog day in all of history. Thanks so much.
Hi Jordan and Scott. Really enjoying route 66 videos. So cool
Really enjoying your vlogs throughout Route 66. That’s great that you included an old clip of the Trade Winds Inn. That’s why your buddy Adam the Woo reinforces filming things for posterity. One day those places could be gone
That Camaro! What a beauty! Fun Video- Thank You
It's hard to point out one thing in this vlog. Everything seemed so neat to see. Especially the Rt 66 museum. Harley there, with his collection of memorabilia enjoying a Jack Danial's drink.
Loved this installation. The storm chaser vehicle was surprise +. I love those old motels. Reminds me of when I was kid. My Dad would look for those old places because he was to thrifty (cheap) to stay on the interstate at a chain motel. Thanks you guys. You are brightening up a recoup from surgery.
I enjoyed this one so much, I watched it again right off the bat 😀 thanks you guys. Scott it was nice you talked more this time. Have a good and safe day.
I had good mexican food in Shamrock Tx about 50 yrs ago
Hi Jordan and Scott, Day 12 in the books was an awesome look back history it was so cool, y'all sat and ate where Elvis visited and ate. Also sad to see site disappear where he stayed. Y'all made another awesome day in the journey. Ty for having me along.
Cotton "boll" is the fluffy cotton part of the plant. Cotton ball is what they call the manufactured cotton balls. But cotton "ball" is acceptable when referring to the plant as well.
It's a "boll" as in the boll weevil, a beetle that feeds on cotton buds and flowers. If you're interested, there's a boll weevil monument in Enterprise, Alabama.
A cotton boll is what grows on the cotton plant
Best summer road-trip ever!
Thanks for all of the vlogs on 66!
Fabulous stops. Welcome to Texas.
I loved the movie cars nice to know that the u drop inn was in the movie cars good.vlog.jordan vickie napa california

Love your roadtrip.. please get a good shot of the Buckaroo motel which I think is in Tucumcari. Thanks Ricko😅
Love it , I’m still watching. Keep on trucking!
This is fun! Thank you! 🌈🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸
The boll weevil (Anthonomus grandis) is a beetle that feeds on cotton buds and flowers. Thought to be native to Central Mexico,[1] it migrated into the United States from Mexico in the late 19th century and had infested all U.S. cotton-growing areas by the 1920s, devastating the industry and the people working in the American South. During the late 20th century, it became a serious pest in South America as well. Since 1978, the Boll Weevil Eradication Program in the U.S. allowed full-scale cultivation to resume in many regions
Grew up in Amarillo,,TKU 🙂♥️🙂♥️J&S...Safe ,Fun Journeys
A cotton boll is what is the bloom with seeds and cotton is called.

Dynamic duo. Thanks again
Another great video. Thank you Jordan and Scott!
Tucumcari can carry better than one can!! Lol! Old family joke when driving through Tucumcari
Been there done that and you have to do it too! Love the feeling I got seeing all these places. I consider Route 66 as the world's largest theme park only its for real.
I love the theme of this museum 😊
Enjoyed again Jordan , and Scott 😊
Jordan, luv the channel and follow it up with it. The 66 trip is awesome.. one minor correction on that the SS Camaro it's a '69 that happens to be on 66. Enjoy the Vlog very much. Thank you for making the days brighter !
Very good vlog thanks
The U Drop Inn was the inspiration for the RAMONS tower gas station in the Disney movie "CARS ". Big Vern's Steakhouse is unfortunately permanently closed. The U Drop Inn is my favorite service station in the U.S., amazing architecture! Happy Trails cowboy!
Cool
I grew up in a small town in South Carolina and we had a club called “The Do Drop Inn” ❤
Who knew Elk City had that lol I will have to check it out.
WAIT!!! Did I see Scott smile???
Thanks I enjoyed the video keep up the great work
Great video. Enjoyed it.
Love this. Just a note: not sure if we had it wrong growing up, but we lived in Texas and pronounced the Conoco gas stations like you say Domino, only Conoco.
The U Drop Inn is Luigi's Paint Shop in the Disney Cars Movie
Dang it, Jordan! Here you are right down the road from me again. When are you gonna pop in for a visit?
Binge watching love it ❤😊❤
I’m really enjoying your trip! So many interesting places.
Love the Elvis facts!! 😃
We have seen the BEST old gas stations on your trip
That '69 Camaro was sweet.
Wow! Lots more cool stuff...Is there a significance to where the museums are there like are you at the halfway point or something maybe...How many times have you done the Route 66 trip and do you drive it both ways like if you came from California did you drive Route 66 to Chicago and then back home again...Thanks for sharing your adventures. This stuff is awesome! When are you finding time to cut the footage together sharing it while you are on the trip...like today what actual day of the trip are you on...
You should stop at Clines Corners,New Mexico
Moose Knuckle Tavern lol
That museum was top-of-the-line! How long were you guys there? I would have a hard time leaving at all.
Keep it up ❤❤❤❤the videos😊
Hello my name is Spencer..Hey loved the video… 😊👍 that’s my home town we’re you were at at the UDropinn in Shamrock Texas .. I wanted to correct you on one thing the uDropinn in the movie cars was Ramone's automotive body and paint shop not the V8 flows diner .. just letting you know if you didn’t already..

Love this one!

Hey I got family in shamrock Texas!!
Thanks Jordan and Scott. This was a Awesome Vlog. I've enjoyed this one as well. Both my twin and I have watched. Agree, this will be worth stopping for. We watch on our own, compare notes. We pretty much know the places we want to spend time at. The Museums, the places to eat, which don't have much to see 👍. So Thanks, we both also subscribe to Scott Dearly Departed. Watch his vlogs as well. Take care, you guys be careful in those tall grass areas and the run down abandon buildings. I'll be filming, so will my twin. We will have our own videos. Again thanks for taking us along.Scott don't talk much, seem quiet.🙂. I know he's enjoying this road trip. It's nice to have a friend along to share the experience. Love, respect and positivity always. Vee.👍✌️🖖🕯️💕🙏🦋🌻🌠🌷🙂👋👣. Next week we shall start our trip down route 66.😁.
Do get the hippie van the master cylinder is hard to replace 😊
I really enjoyed this one thanks guys! That cafe in Texas was amazing to see. So much to see today. I loved Roger Miller's music as a kid!😎
