Good video, I want this bike too as a starter but sadly no advisement or notice was given to any of my nearby dealerships of when this year's model is gonna be in. They only have the 2025 R7, R9, and R1's for some reason.
Hmm, that’s odd! My dealership were notified well in advance. From what I was told. It all depends on their sales. Understandable. Have you tried a little further out? Some other dealerships. I guess if you’ve tried the big ones. There’s no point in the smaller ones.
@@nvd-ix The dealership near me has the biggest inventory and has another store in a different city only an hour and a half away from home. They only have the 2024 R3s so if things don't go as planned I don't mind getting a different bike as long I get valuable seat time
Okay so I’m using the quad lock with the 5mm bolt method. The only problem is. The 2025 R3 has a stem bolt as opposed to a nut. So the quad lock with the bolt version does not work. What I did was drill and tapped through the existing stem bolt and screwed the quad lock through there with some loctite. I wasn’t a fan the other ways it could be done. Too bulky and out of position imo. Hope that helps.
It's too bright for a depressed teenager who went into an accident and can't get a new bike yet, because of financial problems lmao. Keep it up mate. Thx for the video. Ot helps me to sleep and relax. Audio is good. Just my suggestion is to fix that brightness problem. Thank you and ride safe!
I hope you’re all good and you get that bike sometime in the future. Definitely need to work on the brightness. I noticed it as soon as I uploaded and I couldn’t be arsed redoing it. Hahah, thanks!
Hey man. love the video. Im planning to get this bike in february. what are some complaints or dislikes you have on the bike so far? and what are the best parts about the bike as a beginner? Also what phone mount are you using?
Hey, as this is my first bike. I understood that I might get over the lack of power as opposed to other higher cc bikes. But the intention was to learn how to ride properly before I do. The r3 is one of the best beginner bikes out there. The 2025 model is absolutely beautiful. I don’t have any complaints. The r3 is actually known for its handling. So I’d say it’s a great choice.
Thank you, this is my first bike. So I’m not sure how much vibration is a lot. It all seems fine to me. My hand does go numb after a while. But that’s because I’m gripping too hard hahah.
Hey bro I'm just starting off riding and i got my 25 r3 as well, i was wondering when you shift down do you have to kick the shifter back up a bit to shift down again? is that normal with the slipper clutch???
As far as I know, no. The gears are in sequential form. You shouldn’t have to kick up at all to be able to shift down again. The slipper clutch just allows the gears to change more rapidly and smooth without bombing the revs. If what you mean is letting the gear lever return to its original point of rest before gearing back down, then yes.
Your tenth subscriber here, the new 2025 r3 is the best looking beginner bike hands down change my mind!
@@NiniLumine ah man, thank you! I’m going to have to agree with you on that. Definitely a meaner look.
Awesome vid, I need to go for another Warburton run, I love the roads there 🙂
It was my first time and I loved it! Will definitely go again

Change exhaust akrapovic 😊
Nice video!
Does it have a speed or RPM at which the vibration gets worse?
