Hi, twomoons_thies here;). I found your take on the deck interesting, I never tried Toro before. However, him not being an underworld unit is a big minus in this deck. Also I wanted to comment on the matchups, as Control is probably my favourite matchup besides Sabine. The key is to bazine them when they have 7 resources, as the only way they can beat you are with superlaserblast or snoke.
Thanks for the insight, it makes sense, but I think Toro is a decent alternative. I don't have a lot of exp in this MU so you could be right but if it's true then cad bane will be a strong contender in the meta!
As someone playing a bounty hunter heavy Cad Red, you definitely have to go more in on him for awesome results. Toro plus bounty initiates may not trigger Cad, but it keeps the board just as clear! You got any thoughts on the boba match up tho? I still can't get to 50/50 on him =(
Cad Bane has very good match ups against most of the meta. Unfortunately, Boba is one of the bad ones because the units have high health and Boba can race Cad in the midgame, which is when Cad turns to damaging the base.
Amazing video, it's really good to know you can play this game at a high level w/o having all the legendaries. I agree with the above comment, great decks for experienced people new to SWU.
This is such an important video for new players. Especially with clone wars focussed set potentially brining in more casual players who still aspire to do well.
The Tarkin deck is fine, but the reason why it's not getting results is less because of the piloting (though that is part of it), and more because it is too easily counter-able. Traitorous is really rough. Bounce is really rough. Most anti-space metas will handle it easily. Tarkin Yellow is a one-trick pony that can't really pivot. CoDameron got some great results at a point, but he made a LOT of modifications and had to add some extra spice to make it work as well as he did. Also, Triple Dark Raid is great when it hits the right targets, but whiffs way too often.
Thanks, great video. Which of these that you think are suitable for new players (ease to pilot). Any of them a bit too tricky for new players you think?
Unless you play hard control yourself, playing a restock is not gonna save you, a control deck has multiple plan to win the game. If you reach the point of the game as an aggro where you can play restock you've already lost the game a long time ago. Against aggro, control doesn't win by milling it wins by value fatigue. That's why nobody plays restock in aggro decks.
To be on the safe side, I went for a rebel-centric build close to what made top 8 in Manchester. Adelphi and Valiant seem like good options for sure but I did not test them.
Really appreciate this video. Budget decks (under $50 to build) are important for a wider audience.

I think they are all quite easy to play except the cad bane one requires clever sequencing.
What would be good additions to the Tarkin deck to upgrade it, and what would be good to remove for them?
I think the Tarkin is good as is, maybe you could have change of heart for the sideoard instead of prepare to take off
Thank you very much for this Video
Should u run restock since the hardcontroll decks seem to come back

No Adelphi or Valiant in Sabine Green?

Can I replace Maul with Fennec don't have any Mauls atm
you can but it will make the deck significantly worst
