This is really cool. The build is amazing and it looks amazing. However, I'm unconvinced with the position of the shield, since it's usually used on the side, but I guess it's accurate to the original figure. Nice work!
Oh yea you’re right. I actually came up with an alternate design for the arms after I uploaded the video. I may post a short as an update. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Absolutely! I’m still pretty new to this and since those are far more complicated than these I want to get the video format and audio down first, but they are 100% on the way.
UA-cam you finally had a good recommendation! This channel is a hidden gem and I can't wait to use some of these techniques in my own mocs! Keep up the great work!
I actually just started working on him last night and boy. Let me tell you. He has been a challenge but if things keep going well, the end result will be insane. Stay tuned.
I like how kopakas torso looks a bit bulkier, almost as if he’s got some insulation for the cold. The sword arm feels skinny below the elbow, otherwise this is fantastic.
😂😂 I left them thin on these to get the most articulation out of the mini ball joints, but I’ve got a new version that I’ll Share that makes the arms much more bulky
Your builds are awesome, but your audio needs work. There are several instances in your current videos and shorts of improper audio ducking and mastering. For example the little sound effects at 0:10 are much too loud and drown out your voice. Sound effects should add to, not distract from or degrade the viewing experience. Similarly, the sound effect you’re adding in post for the bricks ‘click’-ing together is inconsistent at best, and frustratingly distracting at worst. Which connections you apply the sound effect to seems random, which makes your content so far feel sloppy. The sound you use reminds me more of the Nintendo Switch advertisement ‘click’ than what LEGO connections sound like most of the time. The ‘click’ feels more appropriate for LEGO Technic peg connections. Because of how ‘bright’ these fake sounds are-and because their timing often does not perfectly match when the parts are actually pressed together on screen-they really stand out and I find myself focusing on that almost more than the actual build… I would strongly recommend referencing channels like ‘Brick Bending’ for examples of how satisfying the ASMR of LEGO connections can be. 90% of the time it’s more of a softer and almost crunchy sound. If you cannot use the live audio from your build process, but feel that your content needs sound effects there, please consider recording a wider range of foley sounds of various LEGO connections and be consistent with their usage-If nothing else please either add sound effects for all of them, or none of them. I hope you continue growing your UA-cam content and never stop improving.
Onua would be interested to see in this Style
He's up next week! Keep it locked. The community has been begging for him.
I'm calling it, we're gonna get a System-built Makuta one of these days! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Lol yes we will. I just started the build last night. Will be a couple of weeks but man, it's gonna go so crazy.
@bkhbricks YOOOOOO
Gali was always my favorite, so it might be fun to see your take on her next.
Coming soon!
@@bkhbricks Can't wait!
This guy might be the new MitchBuilds
Awh man you are way too kind! I hope i'm as talented as Mitch one day.
These keep getting better and better!!
You keep getting better and better!
This is now my favorite UA-cam channel! 🔥🔥
Thanks Bro!

Bro casually flexing his Mata Niu in the back
I’m pretty sure it’s the glatoran one that unfortunately doesn’t have the pearl gold mask of life
Hahaha you know I had to do it for the chat.
I knooooow - I've got that one on my Christmas list.
@@WorstHour a mask of light is a mask of light
Looks good! I do think the arms could be longer and more built out though
Yea the more I play around with it I think you're right. Let me see what i can cook up and I may upload a short on the updated design.
Kopaka is Cold as Ice 🤣
Lolololol
Another job well done on Kopaka, i think the next toa should be lewa or onua
Yo thanks so much! I just finished the designs for both, so they're on the way!
Sweet, can't wait and see what their designs may look like!
"what good are lats if you don't have the traps match" 📢
Lol I thought of you when I wrote that part into the script.
Thats the stuff!!
Thank you!!
Maybe a bohrok to fight the toa?
Oh that's a great idea! I'll get working on a design. I wonder if I could get it to fold into a ball like the originals.
@ a lot of people have done it. But if you’re doing a system base then definitely invest in the tiny ball joints, large ball joints, and curved parts
Would you consider making full videos for the Takanuva or Rakshi builds?
Absolutely! I’m still pretty new to this and since those are far more complicated than these I want to get the video format and audio down first, but they are 100% on the way.
It would be SO cool to see EVERY non matoran bionicle character
Genius idea. I couldn't resit and just ordered all the matrons. I'll get working on them as soon as they come in.
Beautiful mocs dude, can't wait to see Pohatu and Onua
Thank you bro! He's defiantly in the works so keep it locked.

Please make a system built makuta please

Good feedback, I'm taking notes for the next builds! Thanks for watching!
My man, keep up the good work!
Thank you bro! Will do!
ahhhhh, nice pun about him being cool.
Lol thank you bro!
Do Pohatu next. I'm interested to see how this style works with the upside down body design.
Def on the list! Stay tuned!
Great inspiration here. Had bionicles in my childhood, nowadays im ordering from Temu/Ali and mixing systems with CCBS
Ooo that’s cool!! I bet that looks great!
I'd love to see you try to build Pohatu. could be fun to try and invert that custom torso build you made!
It’s on the list 😎
Cool man ❤️🇦🇺 really looking forward to the future of you❤️🫡
Thanks for watching and commenting! Much more in the works 😎
We needdd the whole Mata team in this style!! (Pweas :3)
I couldn't agree more 😎
This looks really great! Is there a way to make the neck just sliiiightly longer? I think at the moment it is a little bit too squat.
Thanks!! I’m taking notes so I can improve!
I challenge u to build the black toa the one with the awesome claws and I know ull make that look awesome u really will dude
That's a lit idea! I'll add that to the list for sure.
you should do a lewa one
He's already built and ready to go. He'll be the week after next.
Can you make Onua next?
He's up next week! The community has gone crazy for him.
I wonder how you'll do Gali like will she have hands unlike her g1 figure?
She is in the works 😏 not totally finished quite yet!
Why do you keep leaving out the forearms that normally hold the weapons? Is it for a pirate or transformers esthetic?
😂😂 I left them thin on these to get the most articulation out of the mini ball joints, but I’ve got a new version that I’ll Share that makes the arms much more bulky
gali next please?
We've got Onua up next currently, but Gali will be right after! Thanks for watching and commenting.

Yooooooo this is incredibly helpful feedback! I sincerely appreciate it! Audio is def an area I want to focus on going forward
@@bkhbricks very happy to hear! I look forward to seeing your work progress going forward 😁
Do…..ONUA
He’s dropping next week, make sure you are subbed 🫡😎
@@bkhbricks already did!
The arms are too short
I’ll take that into consideration for when I work to improve upon my builds 🫡
