This gel can be used as a base coat, overlay and/or top coat because its thin. This is a wonderful gel, the ingredients are amazing. Its great for natural nails. I'm so happy this product is in a giveaway. Thanks Liz.
This product is amazing! It has multi uses. It can be a base coat, top coat and is the thinnest of the product line. I really enjoy your videos. I details. Your presentations are always detailed. Thank you sooo much.
I've learned that Light Elegance is a company I could stand behind! I love that they name their products after their family! Ive also learned that this product can be used multiple ways! So amazing! Another thing I've learned that you dont want to use this for long enhancements but instead for short active nails or overlay.
I'm a beginner nail tech and I've learned so much from your videos! I hadn't heard of this brand until I found your channel. Today you taught me that this product can be used for both base and top coat and that gels have different levels of flexibility; something to keep in mind when choosing the appropriate product(s) for each service!
Even though I'm just a DIYer, I greatly appreciate these videos. Liz, you do an amazing job of explaining everything: differences between products, when & why to use certain products, & other uses for the products (if any). So while I can't use the professional products, I now have a much better understanding of the products that I can buy/use. Thank you so much for sharing!!
LE Mani-Cure can be used for overlays, top coat, base coat, some short up to 1/2 centimeter extensions, and attaching gems & 3D pieces. I love LE gels and I'm glad to see that you've given so much info on their Mani-Cure gel. It's the gel that is overshadowed be all the others, but is so versatile in the ways it can be used. I see a lot of active nails and would love to try it out.
I am a huge fan of LE products! And my clients now ask for them by name! This video had great timing because I was looking for a hard gel top coat and was initially thinking of getting LE 1-step but now I learned that Mani-cure is the product to buy! Thanks! Love your videos!
I love to mix and use different products together, I used this line before, it works great with other lines. What surprises is that is so versatile and easy to use!!
I love using Mani-cure for natural overlays and love the fact it is so shiny! I have also used it as super thin base and top for gel toes. Thank you for this informative video. I always watch what you post and I always learn more details which I appreciate so much!
Manicure has a multipurpose and used as a top coat, base coat or overlay! I’ve never tried hard gel. I’m new to doing my own gel nails and have not ventured away from Gelish! This video encourages me to think outside the box. Thank you!
Thank you, Liz! I graduated from Phagans' in Bend, Oregon a few months ago, where we used Light Elegance products. I love the 1-Step, because it requires no base coat. I'm intrigued by the Mani-Cure, because the majority of my clients have active length nails that come to me for overlays. I love that this can be used as a base, top, or adhering stones.
Great video! Currently transitioning from gel nails to a more strong overlay. What I learned from this video is that it’s very flexible, can be used as overlay, top and base coat. Can be used under and over any other mani-cure line and can be used to hold on nail pieces.
I absolutely love that it can be used for overlays, extentions(if you would prefer so) and big bonus as top coat as well. I love the few LE products I got on my first visit to the states last Nov. My clients absolutely love them too!! Hi, all the way from Namibia 🇳🇦
I didn't know a soak off gel can also be considered a hard gel. Thanks for the info! Based on all the nailtubers, you are the most technical and eloquent with your words. I learn quite a bit and appreciate your openness to teach. ❤
Manicure is super shiny & can be used as a base or top coat with or without bonder. Can also be used for adhering gems. Best used on shorter nails that need more flexibility. Thanks Liz. Love your video’s. 💕
This is the first time I heard of the manicure product. I use light elegance gels in my salon and I like the fact that this one has that flexability and that it can be use as a base and top coat. I like.
I love how the Mani-Cure is flexible and can be used as top and base. Also for adhering 3D nail art. Great informative video Liz. Thank you. XOX Luna 💅🏻
I have been looking for a nail gel and I believe this is the best I have seen. You are a great teacher and I have really enjoyed watching this video. Thank you very much.❤️
Thank you so much for sharing! I like that it’s so multi use! I appreciate that it can be used for base/too coat, over lays, and even for gem application.
Never really have used the manicure gel but use exclusively all other light elegance hard gel. Now I know I can use it as a base or overlay or even top coat! Thanks
I learned that Mani-cure is great for natural overlays. I also learned that this is PERFECT for myself and my clients. I am for sure ordering some with my next LE order :) Thank you so much for the info!
Can be used as a top or base coat! I am transitioning from acrylics to hard gels, and I am finding I prefer gels. Thank you for these videos that help me understand the way they work and behave!
I have learned from this video that Mani-Cure can be used as an overlay product, base coat and top coat. This gel seems awesome since it can be used for multiple things.
It is so exciting that Mani-Cure can be used with flexible nails and for gem application. I cant wait to try it on one of my clients! Thanks Liz for another great video
Sound like the gel for me! I have naturally flexible, thin nails and Lexy Mani-Cure would be great as an overlay! I also learned that it is a hard gel, but because the product is not cured as solid as other hard gels.....it can be soaked off but will take more time than other soft gels.
I did know it could be used as a top coat but learned from the video it could also be used as a base coat as well. I also didn’t know it could be used with or without bonder! Love your videos and knowledge.
I love that I can use this my natural nail clients. I had a client that want a dry gel mani but her nail beds where a little thin this would of helped a lot to give that extra layer without having to use a thick builder gel.
I love LE products! I've never used mani-cure but love that it is great for overlays, as well as base/top and that it is uv/led curable. Thank you for all your amazing videos Liz!
Ahhh, Your contest finally got me to comment. I just purchased the cosmetic pink builder gel. I think this will be my next addition. Mani-cure can be used for overlays. I'm not so much into bling nails, but if I decide to give them a go, it sounds like this would be a great base for that.
im a nail tech and thought i had all the uses and properties of each of the lexy line gels figured out!!!! BUT thanks to ur video i have learned that i can use mani-cure for a top coat or to adhere gems, in addition to its other benefits in the techs arsenal such as its flexibility!! thanks for always teaching me something liz!!!! good luck to all those that enter the giveaway!!!
Since is so flexible, cures shiny and can be applied in thinner coats, Lexy mani-cure can also be used to make aquarium or encapsulated nail designs like dried flowers, wire or shells, rain drops, etc.
I love LE products, yet have never used Mani-cure before! Will definitely be ordering from CanWest soon to try for natural overlay, base/top coat, and can't wait to use for gems! Thanks Liz!! ❤💅
Just finished watching this video and heard your mention of the contest. What I loved that you mentioned about this product is how I can use it as overlay, base coat and top coat. Definitely love the size when it comes to wanting to use this as a base/top coat. Also like how it is able to bend with your natural nail.
Lexy line is multi-use and pretty cool. I like the fact that it can be used as a top coat. I actually used a similar product to secure Swarovski crystals, then I cured it.
My favourite thing I've learned about this product now is the multi purpose /use factors it has and how it can easily become a staple in any nail techs kit, having watched many of your videos Iam very quickly falling in love with LE products and as I've said above for me this would absolutely become a staple in my kit and Iam already able to think of a few clients this would be perfect for, especially a hairdresser client who prefers an overlay on her natural nails for strength but also needs the flexibility that manicure can offer! Thanks so much for the info! 💕💅
Perfect timing! Been wanting to learn more about LE hard gel line. Thanks for ALL you do!!!! ~ Thinned viscosity ~ Flexible - can be used as an overlay, base, or top coat ~ Self levels nicely ~ Since a builder gel, bonding agent is recommended ~ Perfect for adhering rhinestones!
One of the things I learned is this can be used with or without bonder, but on weak nails it's best to go ahead and use the bonder, especially if using as an overlay on the natural nail.
It's got flex to it, and its great for weak nails, it's thin, it's great for 3D art! I knew nothing about this; I've always wanted to see how this performs, thanks so much for the detailed benefits and features!
Hey Liz, Thanks for your professional breakdown of everything, you teach like I do and I love all the technical details! I'm a nail tech in Las Vegas with 25+ years as a cosmetologist who loves both hair & nails. I've enjoyed your series over the past year and I have learned many techie details that I now have added such as testing my properties so I can match up product to client needs. This product looks similar to the Flex gel I love from Young Nails but I've been loving the buttercreams you've featured on some of your other vids. Keep up the good teaching to keep folks who are addicted to con Ed, learning new things and better understanding the finer details of the products available and WHY & How to choose them! 👍🥰😉
I perfer working with gels , I tried learning with acrylic but my family members don't like the smell of monomer , so now I like using polygel. The manicure gel has multipurpose such as overlay, extending the nail, and base/top coat. Thanks for this giveaway.💕
I love light elegance! I use one step and extreme but I'm keen to try mani-cure for overlays. I learnt that manicure is the most flexible out of the Lexy line, and can be used for overlays or active length nails. Thanks Liz!
I learnt that it can be used as an overlay, and is especially good for flexible nails! I really enjoyed this video explaining the product, you are always so informative and they're so interesting to watch because I end up learning so much! 😊
You can use it as a overlay, or on active length nails or as a base or topcoat. I have more brittle nails so I personally would probably try it to do a sculpted mani with this product.
I've just got a tiny sample jar of mani-cure because I was looking for a super flexible gel that I could use on short natural nail overlays. I've only tried it a couple times but so far so good! I didn't know I could also use it for adhering bling! 👍
Since you gave us the great tip about checking gels I cure every one for the recommended time. As I only have one lamp sometimes I have to play with cure times. I so wish I could purchase LE products. I’ve seen so many great reviews on UA-cam and their colours and glitters are amazing. I too prefer a slightly thinner viscosity, after some practice of course😁. Thanks for another wonderful video Liz
I love that I can see how flexible the gel is without snapping! I can see how it may not be the best for longer extensions, but more suitable for overlays. I am excited to see you post more videos of the lexy line, as I have been considering looking into building extensions instead of doing overlays on myself. Some designs just call for full transparency in an extension and I haven't been able to achieve that with my longer natural nails.
Always looking for new products to try. 23 year nail tech from NH!! Love that you can use this for both base and top coat, I am so used to just using top coat polish love it . Thanks for great videos.
I love that you are going over Light Elegance products. You have triggered my interest in this line. I am more of a gel polish girl but recently have been using the P+ and so far loving it. I want to start offering overlays and using more builder products but I get scared of hard gels. This Mani-cure looks like it may be something to start with since it can be used for overlays, topcoat, or base coat. And even though its a hard gel, it sounds like if worse comes to worse it could be soaked off. Thanks again for all the education Liz!
You can use this as an overlay and you can also use it to adhere gems to the nail. I have been a licensed nail technician since 2010! Good luck to everyone that enters!!
I just used mani-cure, I absolutely love it! I literally used it as thin as a slip layer for the new LE colours. I love that I can use to give the illusion of a gel polish but the strength of a hard gel! I had no idea that it could be used for sticking on gems though! I'm going to try that next time!
ManiCure Gel is great for base coat. I think it works great on natural nails for an overlay and I really like it as a first layer gel with nails that are not as strong or in water a lot (like hair stylists).
I’ve experimented with mani-cure to create a few small volume custom glitter gels for myself as well as wear it as an overlay. Nice to know it can be used as a top coat; I hadn’t realized that. Thanks Liz for sharing your knowledge.
I love that it can be used to secure bows and other 3D nail art! My motto is there is no such thing as too much bling so this would be amazing to win to help clients get the most from their bling. I also love that I can be used as base and/or topcoat, & that it’s great for nails that need flexibility. I have 1 client that I really struggle with this problem so this might be just what she needs. Thank you :)
Thank again for another informative video! LE Mani-Cure can be used as an overlay for natural nails (protection), as a base coat for LE glitters or color gels. Also it can be used to adhere 3D nail art.
Hi Liz, thanks for all your great tutorials. I usually use hard gel for my extensions but I like this more flexible gel for when I just want an overlay or a thin base and top coat. Keep up the teaching, we are all like sponges soaking it all in. Thanks
Yeeessss! I'm happy you are reviewing Light Elegance! I love this brand, and this gel. I found out about the brand whilst watching your tutorials on your channel. I just recently started using Mani-cure, primarily as an overlay on natural shorter length nails. It files beautifully and I have used it with the color gels in the sandwich technique (on a short nail that doesn't need much shape added). I've mixed it with loose glitter (from Lecente) to make a gel, works so well! Such a versatile product. Thanks for all you do, Liz xx
I was just looking at this product on Sweet Squared so this video came just in time. I didn't realise I could use it as a topcoat and for embellishment so thank you so much for that info. Total game changer.
Ahh this self levels so beautifully! I loooove that it can be used to adhere gems and other art to the nail as well as secure it. Such a great product! I need to get my hands on this 😍
Mani-cure can be used as a natural nail overlays perfectly. And I see a potential uses as a glitter mix with the gel and as a encapsulate. Also since it cures shiny and can be used as a top coat, I would use as a overlay gel for bigger Swarovski crystals. 🥰
Love Light Elegance Products, started using them just a short time ago with the fiber gel which I love. I will definitely try the mani-cure Lexi line. The greatest thing I think this product would be used for is the flexibility, love the fact that is so versatile that it can be used as a top coat as well. Thanks for all your amazing tips Liz, I watch all your videos.
I love that it can be used as a over lay. I learned about all its versatility that it can be used as a base, a top, a builder or an overlay.also that ots the thinnest LE builder gel and its flexable.
LE Mani-Cure would be excellent for active/sport length overlays on flexible natural nails (like mine)! The hard gel is awesome to not worry about ruining your own nails while working on other people. Also this would be an awesome top coat for bonding stones/gems and lots of bling!!! 😍
Interesting product! I like the fact that is multipurpose. You can use as a base and top coat. It seems to cure pretty shiny, which is nice! Cant beat the flexibility, especially when your trying to learn a new product. Will check out this product.
I learned you can just about use it for anything; builder, overlay, top but you shouldn’t use it to build very long nails because it could bend. It’s good for more active length and no extension build. Also you use it to add 3D gems. And you don’t need a primer 🙋🏽♀️ this product sounds like it can do it alllll but even if I don’t win I think you have convinced me to switch over to this product. I love your content. It’s so much more than just tutorials or “how to do this look” and I’m not downplaying that kind of content. But I know when I click on your videos I’m about to learn something that sadly no one taught us in school
It can be used as an overlay, and a base. Wow, it looks really nice to work w, and flexible as u say.. that looks like an awesome product. I love that u test them first too. 😊💚
I've actually been wondering about this product since you're how to soak off hard gel on natural nails 2 pt videos. From this video I learned that it's multi-purpose. It's the thinnest of the light elegance builder gels and can be used as an overlay product which I absolutely love especially since it does have the possibility of soaking off.
This gel can be used as a base coat, overlay and/or top coat because its thin. This is a wonderful gel, the ingredients are amazing. Its great for natural nails. I'm so happy this product is in a giveaway. Thanks Liz.

A complete product. I like that it's versatile. Thank you for your time in helping us choose a quality product!!!
I will definitely try it as a top coat and as a base coat for uv polish. Thank you for the videos. I really like to watch them.
I love how the Mani-Cure is flexible and can be used as top and base. Also for adhering 3D nail art.
Great informative video Liz. Thank you.

I was looking for something slightly flexible but strong. This product looks perfect. The multipurpose function is a great bonus
Ahhh, Your contest finally got me to comment. I just purchased the cosmetic pink builder gel. I think this will be my next addition.
Mani-cure can be used for overlays. I'm not so much into bling nails, but if I decide to give them a go, it sounds like this would be a great base for that.

The flexibility! Use wise and physicality. I’ve been looking for the perfect ‘in between’ of a soft and hard gel and this looks pretty great! X

It's so good that it can be used as an overlay and top coat. I've never used a gel that is this viscosity, i'd love to try it
I’ve experimented with mani-cure to create a few small volume custom glitter gels for myself as well as wear it as an overlay. Nice to know it can be used as a top coat; I hadn’t realized that. Thanks Liz for sharing your knowledge.
I am excited to try mani-cure with my clients. I learned that it is the thinnest of their gels and can be used as a base and top coat.
I love at the end how you said it can be used to add crystals! I have a few clients that love crystals!
Overlays are my favourite. It's great it's multi-use. No primer necessary for natural nails has to be the best feature.
I've learned that be Mani-Cure is flexible and can be used in multiple applications such as base coat, overlay, and top coat.
I really loved Its versatility, I didn’t know it can be used as overlay, base and a very shiny top coat. Thank you Liz! I love LE GELS!!!
Awesome that it can be use as base and top coat even as overlay
would like to see how it’s on active length nails
I understand it NOW!! I have a sample size going to try is this week!! Thank you Liz for all you do!
I was just looking at this product on Sweet Squared so this video came just in time. I didn't realise I could use it as a topcoat and for embellishment so thank you so much for that info. Total game changer.
Love all the information. This is such a versatile product. I like that it can be used as an overlay to top coat!
Thank you for the show and tell. I love that it can be used for both a base and a top coat.
P.S. Loved your interview with Jim McConnell. Great Info.
Ahh this self levels so beautifully! I loooove that it can be used to adhere gems and other art to the nail as well as secure it. Such a great product! I need to get my hands on this 😍
I learned that this gel can be used as a base or top coat which I think is amazing. ❤
I love that it can be used for an overlay or a top coat!
I learned mani-cure can be used as a base and and top coat. I love the fact that’s it’s multipurpose!
I love Mani-Cure for my Overlays. Thanks for the Giveaway!!
I have really been seeking a product like this. Thank you for offering this Giveaway!!!
