The best part of these products to me is the versatility. I love that you can go from thick and not self leveling which is great for nail art to a thinner consistency which is great for using it as a gel polish. I also love how you explain products and processes. You break it down to where it's so easy to understand and absorb 👍🏼👍🏼
I know this video is old as heck, but thank you and all the gods for this. I was wondering so hard about the differences in properties of the Buttercream and Color lines 😍
Our video giveaway starts today! All you have to do is subscribe to our email list here: eepurl.com/gQsep1 I'll choose 5 random emails from the subscribed list on Friday April 10th and the winners will each receive one random set of Light Elegance Buttercream. This giveaway is open to anyone anywhere in the whole wide world...and it is NOT affiliated with UA-cam nor Light Elegance. These are gels from my private collection that I am sharing the love with.
Hi Liz! As a diy nail enthusiast I have been sifting through nail tutorials for weeks. Your channel is the best by far, my absolute fav! Thank you for helping me keep my sanity through this lock down mess with the art of nails. I love your passion for what you do. keep it up!
I am a student nail tech, and have been very confused by the range of products out there. I found this video very helpful in understanding that it is not for structure, but for color and decoration. Beautiful colors, and marshmallow fluff is a good description! Thank you for the education you are providing!
Wow, the coverage is amazing! Thank you Liz, your videos have been invaluable and really helping me a lot while I'm in school...I'm trying to slay the gel portion lol.
This is so helpful! I recently bought my first buttercream “female and fabulous” a beautiful white but was having a hard time applying. I will try this!! Thank you!! :)
I saw your video using the gold buttercream and just loved it...but I'm a DYI-er. I know there are some really good ones that might compare, but as a cake decorator, that name really got my mouth watering and I LOVE LOVE LOVED the texture and consistency this gel displayed. Wish I could get it!!
Thank you for doing this video. I struggle with the light colors. I find them to always be so streaky. I have no problems with the dark colors only the light. Now that I’ve watched you apply a light color and explain the two viscosities in the product. I’m sure I can overcome this problem now. I really appreciate this video. Thanks again 😊
Can you please make a full tutorial on how to do your nails at home and what products to use??? I am stuck at home in quarantine and am clueless! Can't find any tutorials that are from a pro like yourself and include products that an unlicensed person like myself can buy. Thank you and keep up the great videos!
I love working with Light Elegance Buttercreams! They go onto my client's nails so nice and thin but the colors are rich and so pigmented. Love your videos!
Gorgeous demonstration! I would really like to know what product you used to create the filigree style art on your other nails. The gel I am using now doesn't keep the shapes I create. It falls or flattens. Suggestions?
I'm just a diy'er right now, working towards getting my license. One of my nail tech friends let me try the buttercreams one time and I was amazed at how easy they were to use. Can't wait to get certified so I can buy them.
Thank you so much for sharing these type of videos. I have been a licensed Cosmetologist for almost 14 yrs now and am getting back into nails on top of doing hair. I am new to Light Elegance and was wondering what the difference was between color gels and buttercreams. Not many techs around where I live use LE so I’m planning on taking the LEU Bachelors program so I can bring these into my salon.
Carole
This is Great Liz!! I was really skeptical about the buttercreams because every time I would apply it was streaked to much around the cuticle. Now that I know I can see the difference when it is stirred. Also, the difference with the color gels. Thank you Liz for explaining the buttercream. Stay Safe and Well.
Amazing!! I'm so jealous of ppl that can get a clean cuticle area. I've been doing my own nails for almost 10 yrs and still can't do it. I don't have a steady hand 😔
Oh dear nail gods, watching from afar, I have done the thing for the chance to win one of these amazing products, and I have proven, “I am not a robot”! Oh pick me, pick me! Definitely love your videos, keep ‘em coming! Thanks!
Do u know what the ingredient is that makes them like this? I’ve been mixing and I noticed that if I mix gel and acrylic paint it turns out a lot like buttercreams? Ty for videos ❤️
Can you do a video for the LE color gels? AND I have a quick question, could you put a soak off gel on a natural nail prior to you using the LE color gels to give you an option to soak of later????
I have a question I have never used any gel products like this. Do they smell like fingernail polish? I want to start taking care of my nails but the smell of fingernail polish makes me get sinus infection.
Wish wish wish good products were available to people doing their own nails at home. Kind of discouraging that we have to try our best with sub products. This buttercream is gorgeous! And consistency looks fantastic for beginners.
I am thinking about switching to potted gel colors in my salon. Which do you prefer, LE Buttercreams or Kokoist Color gels? I typically use luminary for my base. I am going to buy a couple of colors from each, but I figured I would ask your opinion as well! Thanks! :)
Hi liz!! I am a big fan of yours I have watched all of your uploads in youtube and instagram and facebook since I discovered you about 3 monthes ago. You are amazing and tought me so many new things!! I am a licensed nail tec but I became alergic to acrilic and just recently discovered the hipoalergenic products. Since it is so expansive I cannot allow myself to purchese it and I continue to use cheap nail jels from ebay and wish and have the alergie. Will be very happy to win your givawey so maybe I'll have at least 6 colors that wont make my fingers eachy and swell. Love you!! Inbar from Israel (:
Not on the topic, but what are thouse decals/under the paste strokes/ you have used for the nail art? If you start making nail art tutorials can you consider showing how you've made this and with what products. Thank you in advance!
Can you do a video showing proper technique for removing encapsulated metal like when you do stream punk nails? Or if you have done it already can you post the link? Please
Hi Liz. I have a quick question. I have tried some LE products and love them. My question is for some reason the area around my nail gets really itchy when I use buttercream. It doesn't do it with Jimmy gel, p+, glitter gel or the topcoats but only with buttercream. Do you know why that could be? I had only used buttercream once before and had that experience so I decided to give it another try yesterday morning and I am having some itching. No swelling or rash just a little itchy. Thanks girl!!
Hi Chantal, can you provide a bit more information? Please send me a list of all the products and steps you are using including cleansers, lamp, any prep agents, and all layers of gel. Are you using a brush that has touched other gels? Please send to me at sales@thenailhub.com so I can review! Thanks!
awesome vid, is the giveaway still on or is it over already I have been wanting to try out light Elegance for ages now, I am a qualified nail tech for years and trying to also grow my channel on you tube, I also supply nail products in South Africa so would love to try the butter creams out.
I recently tried to follow the jimmygel instruction video but for some reason the next day 2 of my nails completely peeled off!! It was the strangest thing and im sure there was something i did that must have been wrong. Has this happened to anyone? Thanks
Does watching all of your and Nail Career Education’s videos count as training?! Because I want some of these sooo bad! I’ve been doing nails for 6 years and as a mom and an RN I don’t have time to go back and get my tech license 😕 I love your videos!! You have helped me SO much with my nail art and application!

Aw... I am too late for this give away ...just start to look at your video to see how it works. I am a new nails student. And just perchased only one color because it is $15.95 each + brush. :( ..
It’s called RBF. Resting Bitch Face and it plagues introverts and nerds. Haha. I actually am a goofy person but does not show on my face. I have RBF big time. Makes me look very serious/intense/angry but I’m not. 😇
Thanks for this excellent tutorial. I'm new to LE , I've been trying to find a gel that doesn't give me allergies and I'm doing well on this brand. I've just swatched this product, it's so different , but so amazing! ❤
The best part of these products to me is the versatility. I love love love LE colors. thank you for this video. I am 64 and a Diy and you show perfectly how to do things. You are the best ! ❤️❤️🌈
Love it. It doesn’t add bulk to the nail even if you have to apply several layers. Tfs Liz. Good luck to all the students and techs
You definitely provide motivation to become licensed. Such a nice product. I love the shades in a few of those collections. 🙂
I love how you shape your almonds!
Thank you for the great content, Liz!
LE Buttercream products are a dream. I wish they were available to DIYers 😭
Me too! I would love to get my hands on the whole LE line.

Thanx so much for the informative video! I was having trouble applying buttercreams and had no idea you needed to agitate them!! Udabesss!!! 💚

I love working with Light Elegance Buttercreams! They go onto my client's nails so nice and thin but the colors are rich and so pigmented. Love your videos!

This was so important to know !!! I'm a fan of the butter creams, I always used to stir the whole pot, now I know not to do it 💗🙏
Purchased my first Buttercream set about 6 months ago. Love them
Goodness gracious, the colors look so beautiful 😍
I'm obsessed with LE and love your videos. ❤️ Thanks for sharing!

Merci beaucoup Carole 🥰
I'd love to try this type of gel out once, they always look so good whenever I see a swatch video or design made with them :D
I have been looking at videos of the butter cream on youtube where techs are using these and the look sooooo perfect for my nail art 😍 months of envi.
Always ❤ your videos Liz - I am very cognizant of that! I had to look up cognizant - Nail and English education in one 🤣
Haha. That’s me when I watch telenovelas. Have to have a dictionary handy so I can look up words. Entertaining and educational! 🤓
This is Great Liz!! I was really skeptical about the buttercreams because every time I would apply it was streaked to much around the cuticle. I would love to see how you did that 3d on your nails . I love the look
Just painted with a thickened mixture of buttercream and a bit of acrylic powder mixed in to make it a thicker paste sort of texture.
Amazing!! I'm so jealous of ppl that can get a clean cuticle area. I've been doing my own nails for almost 10 yrs and still can't do it. I don't have a steady hand 😔
Really informative! Thank you!
stunning!
I would love to see a video on the nail art that you have on your ring finger. Thanks
Sorry if you answered already can this be used on natural nails or only on top of acrylics?
Oh dear nail gods, watching from afar, I have done the thing for the chance to win one of these amazing products, and I have proven, “I am not a robot”! Oh pick me, pick me! Definitely love your videos, keep ‘em coming! Thanks!
Awesome video!! Great info
Loved it!
So is buttercream a soft gel? Can it be soaked off?
This whole video made me hungry 🤔 mmm buttercream 🤣😉
Haha i know! Makes me want 🍰
Do u know what the ingredient is that makes them like this? I’ve been mixing and I noticed that if I mix gel and acrylic paint it turns out a lot like buttercreams? Ty for videos ❤️
So the normal light elegance colour is like a coloured builder gel ?
Can you do a video for the LE color gels? AND I have a quick question, could you put a soak off gel on a natural nail prior to you using the LE color gels to give you an option to soak of later????
Can you make a video on how you did your nails in this video!
Thanks!
what is your fav gel brand, and which collection from le do you like the most ? and why do you love le ? im looking for new brands myself

Are these soak off gels or do I need to file off?
Can you do a video showing proper technique for removing encapsulated metal like when you do stream punk nails? Or if you have done it already can you post the link? Please
You have made me fall in love with potted color gels. My tech used only bottles but I love the idea of pots better. Easier for art!
what if we have already been signed up to the email subscription? or is this a different one?
Hi Liz. I have a quick question. I have tried some LE products and love them. My question is for some reason the area around my nail gets really itchy when I use buttercream. Has anyone used a buttercream for stamping? Seems highly pigmented, will it work?
What is that bent brush your using for clean up
Hi it's a smile line brush. We have them on our site. www.thenailhub.com/search?q=smile+line

Do you need a base coat?
Not if applying on a finished nail. Buttercream is usually applied over a finished overlay like hard gel.
Buttercream is a non-Newtonian fluid :o?
Aw... I am too late for this give away ...just start to look at your video to see how it works. I am a new nails student. And just perchased only one color because it is $15.95 each + brush. :( ..
i struggle with this product i have one jar ill keep practicing
I wish I could afford to get licensed. Paycheck to paycheck at the moment. Can't get debt!
I have considered becoming a licensed nail tech so I can get LE butter creams 😭😭😭😭
gosterholt yes! Light Elegance and Nail Hub videos made me enroll in nail school.
That’s why I became a nail tech! Just to buy from here!
Another product I swear by
Wondering if you've ever laugh or smile? Its been about a year or two since coming across your channel and I've never seen you laugh or smile.
It’s called RBF. Resting Bitch Face and it plagues introverts and nerds. Haha. I actually am a goofy person but does not show on my face. I have RBF big time. Makes me look very serious/intense/angry but I’m not. 😇

Light Elegance has the most confusing product categories/names I've ever seen
Really? 🤔 this is interesting. What do you find most confusing?
Beautiful!
