Please note Mani-cure has been discontinued and I would actually say Build is more flexible than Extreme. 1. Build 2. Extreme 4. Cool 5. 1-step 6. Fiber
Liz, I absolutely love your tutorials! I'm a new nail tech (after a 27 year nursing career) and I just love learning. Your videos are so incredibly informative and I have learned so much from them.
A new Nail Hub video always makes my day. So tempting to buy all the LE 10 ml options available now, but I'm trying to control myself. I love LE, and know you have been working with them more lately, but I have recently been dabbling with Akzentz more, as well. Would you consider doing updated Akzentz line videos? I have watched your older ones, I'm just always greedy for more :) You and Katie Dutra got me into trying Trinity and the Luxio polishes, and I have been loving it!
@@TheNailHub That color is influencing me to purchase this line. I really appreciate L.E. for being inclusive! Now I need to decide if I'm going hard gel for my overlay. I was considering Jimmy Gel, but hard gel seems to have its advantages, I don't want to ever soak in acetone again if I can help it!
Love your channel, but I dont know if I missed you mentioning it ever: Do you still work with kokoist? You used to have a bunch available on your website and had more info coming out about them on your channel? I think I originally got their products because of you
Thank you Mz Morris for this video. I visited the site the products are very affordable I look forward to using hard gel for the first time. My salon offers Orly builder and I’ve been looking for a hard gel to add to my salon. ❤
Hello, I have two different issues that I am hoping that you can give me advice on. What type of gel do you suggest for pedicures? This year, on two other occasions, my big toes had moisture damage that caused the nail to detach from my skin. I got a traditional old-school gel at an upscale salon. I thought that the issue was with the technician's application. Outside of being rude, he rushed and, in my opinion, didn't use care. So, of course, I never returned, and it took four months for both toes nails to grow back. I went somewhere else and the same thing started to happen again. So I the gel removed after a week. The most recent pedicure I got the technician used regular polish on my big toes and so far nothing happened. Next issue is the condition of my regular nails. After removing the last two regular gel applications my nails are thin and brittle. I would like to use a gel on my regular nails no extensions that will help them grow. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks
I’m a DIYer with nail lacquer and I’ve been wanting to get into making pressons with tips. I’ve watched your videos on allergies and gel curing. I’m wondering - 1. Where do you suggest purchasing a good lamp? I noticed that the nail hub website said it wasn’t for DIYers. 2. When you say not to mix products, do you mean gel color from one brand and a top coat from another brand? What if I used nail lacquer on tips and just used a gel top coat for longevity?
She has an excellent class for advanced DIYers. During which you can purchase an LE lamp too. 😊 I have the mini and love it!! It's small but powerful. She goes into detail about allergies, lamps , curing, etc. Then you can purchase some LE products afterwards too.
I would highly recommend taking our gel nail basics course. It will teach you everything you need to know as well as soak off application techniques which are best for beginners. www.thenailhub.com/pages/at-home
Hi Liz! I am a die hard for Gelish structure gel in a bottle, which I think may be similar to LE 1-step. I want something slightly thicker than Gelish Structure for short/medium length nails, but still easy to work with. What would you suggest for my first Light Elegance product with that in mind?
Hi Liz, which of the LE hard gels would be most comparable to Akzentz Trinity in terms of self-leveling, would it be 1-step? Is it still thicker than Trinity? Also, which of the LE hard gels would be the most flexible for long, but flimsy nails?
Are you guys hema free? Just developed some allergies from other big brand that advertised itself as hema free… not so sure now. I will become your customer for forever if your product fits. Thank you.
Hi please watch my videos on allergies. HEMA-free is not a very meaningful statement because companies often replace the HEMA with something similar that is also allergenic. Also your lamp is extremely important in preventing allergies. I have lots of videos on my channel about the topic. Light Elegance and ATTAIN are both brands we carry that are actually hypoallergenic. I would highly recommend you try those. thenailhub.com
(Linda) Hi Liz, omg, i am so addicted to your channel. Every time I see explanations about products..i am just gidi-happy and run to your YT channel 😊 Like @anatashaplummer1287 said, we become greedy, wanting more videos loll!
Great video! I've learned so much from you

3. Build

Glad you liked it!!
I love the diversity of colors in the LE line!!

Akzentz videos are being filmed right now and will post soon. Takes a while to create and edit them. :)
I’m really looking forward to the Akzentz videos! I’m just getting started with them
Great to know all this info on the products 💜
I LOVE extreme and builder! I wish they made Jimmy gel in a pot/jar. Ideal pink is by far the best pink on the market!
Thank you so much for this video! I had so many questions answered! And yes, I have found it overwhelming.
Awesome vid as always thanks Liz!
Ooh. Beautiful Colors...In love with Cashmere!!!❤❤❤❤❤
It's so good!

I will be posting some tutorials soon with this Lexy Line hard gel so stay tuned. It's a great brand for many reasons.

Sounds lovely!

Hi I would recommend Extreme. It’s slightly thicker than 1-step but still self leveling.

Hi 1-step is going to be the closest but it is a tad thicker than Trinity.
Do you have have to put 1-Step under cool gel, extreme, or builder? Or is tack sufficient?
No, you would just use one of the base coats I mentioned like Tack or PowerBond.
