  • Get ready for a long one; today is the 35th anniversary of my all-time favorite movie, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" And so it seems only natural that I have my fursona partly inspired by that movie, private toon detective fox Sam Valentino, play the 1988 "Storyteller" album for you all (on a vinyl LP record, or course) and compare it with the actual movie, including using some alternate and/or deleted dialogue tracks, even including the infamous "pig head" scene! He also reminisces a bit about the movie and how it inspired to get him into the private detective business, along with a few other bits of trivia relating to the film.
The Big Bad Wolf (with his version 2.0 head) also makes a brief appearance.
You can hear the original HERE:

Happy 35th anniversary to who framed roger rabbit! This movie walked so bonkers, Mickey’s toontown at Disneyland, space jam, Disney’s house of mouse, toontown online, looney tunes: back in action, and space jam: a new legacy could run.

Yep. From the bits and pieces I saw of "The Thief and the Cobbler," the animation really gave me a "Roger Rabbit" vibe, with that ultra-smooth flowing look.

I think I use to have this on audio tape, as well as A graphic novel ironically published by Marvel at the time.

Amy Irving is the singing voice of Jessica Rabbit. She is best remembered for portraying Sue Snell in Brian De Palma's big screen adaption of Stephen King's Carrie.

If a mixture of turpentine, acetone and benzene erases toons permanently, I wonder how Toons in Toontown are born/created? Paint, perhaps?
Since Disney and Warner Bros. are suffering financial losses these days, I hope they are still around in the year 2088. Let’s hope kids of 2088 will still be able to access classic Disney films, especially since it’s most likely that DVD players will be no longer in production by then. If cinemas are no longer around in 2088, a simple tax write off would lock post-22nd century kids out of films made in 2024 onwards.
I once asked how you’d feel if Looney Tunes were erased from existence, so I bet you’d hate to imagine what would happen if animation were erased from existence forever.

@@ZakWolf Well unlike the vinyl LP version, the CD version had digital audio.

@@ZakWolf Well, my dad had a collection of CDs (mostly the songs of the 1960s).

@@DennisTamayo And I, too, have a collection of CDs, in addition to records and cassettes. A big advantage of CDs is how they are easy to rip into MP3s. I can do so with vinyl records, hooking up my phonograph to the audio-in jack on the Thunderbolt 3 dock connected to my MacBook Air, and recording the sound off the record in Audacity, and then I apply noise-reduction and click-removal filters to clean up the sound.

Now that I supposedly expected this post to be made right around the time of my 35th birthday, this Family Guy clip should serve as a reminder on how I was provided with the name Sara when I was born right around the time of that film's release:

I have a great idea what you could do on your UA-cam channel Zak Wolf! You should have the Big Bad Wolf play this game called “UNDERTALE”♥️💀 I think he really might like it. And who knows, he might even think this video game should get a Disney movie.🏰✨🐭 just like how sonic the hedgehog🦔🔵 and Mario👨🏻🍝 got to be on the big screen.🎥 And FNAF is going to be on the big screen too.📽️🐻🐤🐰🦊🍕 so if the Big Bad Wolf is reading this comment, I recommend that he play Undertale. Hi Big Bad Wolf!🐺👋😁you’re my favorite Disney, villain!🐺❤️ Thanks, Zak Wolf! you’re the best.🐺😁👍
