Future video idea: could you do an explainer on the Osaka Metro? There are tons of videos on the Tokyo Metro, but not many on the Osaka Metro. Looking forward to your Kansai videos!
4:41 Online ticket booking is really convenient📲🤔👍! 12:00 1,240JPY Okinawa’s Goya Champuru’s very simple yet delicious cuisine is also a model of health😋👍! 18:06 kids are so happy to have such a cute bento box😄! 23:39 Saw Mount Fuji🗻😉👏! 26:18 What a cool coffee vending machine😎🚅☕️😋👍🇯🇵! 33:29 The place is so vast 😉👍! 33:47 🤦🏻♀️😂🤣👍👏! 36:08 200JPY cabbage pancake, quite big, my favorite Japanese cabbage is very fresh 😋👍! 38:07 Long time no see ~Namba Parks~😃👋! Thank you so much for Rion’s journey back home from Tokyo to Osaka by Nozomi Shinkansen🚄 and tips🤝!
Another comfortable Shinkansen ride this time with the bonus - Mt. Fuji with a snow cap in a sunny day. The temperatures are getting higher and higher in Japan but even here we have already got 25°C. I am looking forward to ful Sakura blooming and other spring adventures. I must say that I also like your longer hair but now it's both opportunity and time for a new shoter hairstyle in line with the current season. Wishing you in the end happy Easter together with your family. 🐣🐣🐥🐥 Till next video mata ne and GAAOOO ...🦁
I used Ex app to book my shinkansen tickets for April and it is easy to use :) Thanks for a wonderful video Rion. Can't wait to be visiting Japan again soon! Let's keep walking!
🙏👑 Every blessing to you Rion on resurrection Sunday. Another great walk 👏 well done. I'll be flying into KIX again in May 2024 and taking the airport bus to Osaka and then heading to my hotel via the Yotsubashi metro line. Thanks for the insight on Osaka. I've been through Osaka a few times on the Shinkansen and KIX but never actually stayed before. I'll stay and explore Osaka for 3 days before heading down to Mie, Ise-shima, for 7 more days. Let's keep learning together and let's keep walking ... Gaooooo 🦁👑
8:49 This restaurant is known for their tsukemen, and it was my first time trying it while surrounded by salarymen 😂 Line was shorter on a off-travel Monday 😋👍 I grew up enjoying my mom’s boiled goya in soup, but it wasn’t until much later that I also enjoyed drinking coffee & beer 😆🍻 33:50 🤣👍 Mt. Fuji 🗻 & Namba Parks ✨ It’d be sweet to see Sakuranomiya 🌸
Thanks for the really chill Shinkansen video. The Okinawan dishes looked hella oishii! I can totally relate to your comment with your pallette changing as you grew up. I was a picky eater, and I'm embarrassed to say I only ate cheese when until I was in late elementary school.😅 When I started college, I explored more, and that was when my taste buds expanded, and I ate a variety of meals from other cultures. If you open your mind and stomach 😂, you can learn so much from others. There's so much beauty that is involved with meals. I always love the night views of Namba Park. Looking forward to your new hairstyle😊
Arigatougozaimasu, Rion, for another Shinkansen travel adventure. I'm glad you're back in Osaka and I'm looking forward to watching your sakura and Universal Studios videos. I'm also looking forward to seeing your new haircut. I hope you have an enjoyable time visiting with your family. 👍🚅
Rion, some general information. I was at Tokyo station last 3/24 (spring vacation time) and the taxi line was the same. It took about 30 minutes to get a cab. The cost from Tokyo station to Haneda airport was ¥8,500 yen. The cab ride took about 30 minutes. Alternatives, there are no buses going from Tokyo station to Haneda airport, only the train as an option. Take care!!
22:08 A reminder however that during certain periods of the year (Golden Week, around New Year's, around Bon), *all* seats on Nozomi require a reservation. Without a reservation you will need to take one of the slower services. 25:22 Toica originated in the Nagoya area, but like Suica and Icoca it can be used throughout Japan
Hi Rion, I hope you and your family had a very Happy Easter! 🐣 Watching the scenery and seeing Mt Fuji through the Shinkansen window is so fun! 🤩 It’s totally ok if you don’t visit Universal Studios on this trip and the Donkey Kong expansion sounds exciting! 😊 Enjoy Osaka! Looking forward to all the videos! 👍
Rion!!! I don't have enough time to visit Osaka on my next Japan 2024 trip 😫 but... next year 2025, I plan on going and want to stay at least 3 days! Osaka seems like such a big city, with so much to do and see and visit, I want to make sure I'm spending enough time there! I'll always refer back to your videos and looking forward to seeing your adventures in Osaka 😊 Arigatoo ❤❤❤
@alfonsolara7917 ! Hey 👋 thank you for that info but because my mama lives in Yokohama I spend my time visiting her and my family but we did talk about Osaka and she wants to go too! Every year when I visit, I take her somewhere special! 2023 was Kobe and Kyoto 2024 is Sendai and 2025 is maybe Okinawa! I really want to go to Osaka but would love at least 3 days there! Japan is so small but yet soooo big! 😅
Thanks for all the tips! They will be very useful since we will be making videos for our channel in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in May, so we will definitely be heading to Tokyo Station!
I was at Tokyo Station that same day! I was telling my sons that I hoped to run into you during our trip. Too bad we didn't bump into you. But I must have said many times "Let's keep walking" to my family during our time in Tokyo.
At 1:20 this is where you can buy a Suica card! At the JR East Travel Office only, inside Tokyo station Marunouchi exit! But it is not available elsewhere including other JR Offices. I bought it recently in January 2024 after seeing it in another video. Goodluck!
Good to know that you're in Osaka now.😊 Hope you can walk us to places where we can view some blooming beautiful white and pink sakura trees. A blessed Happy Easter Rion and to your family, as well.
Hi Rion. First, Happy Home Sweet Home to you! Thanks for the detailed information on how to go Osaka by Shinkansen. But I guess I will travel during the day time. Afraid to get lost in the dark when the sun has set. Shall lookout more on how to go about Osaka and try those mecha-oishi food that you have recommended. Thank you!
Glad you are back to your hometown and have a great reunion with your family members. And I do hope you will cover Universal Studios. Planning a trip to Japan and will decide which cities to explore this round.
I believe Toica is an IC card from Nagoya. It was the only one available, in the fall of last year, when there was still the IC card chip shortage. We were able to get one for each of us traveling at Kyoto Station, from one of the JR Offices there.
JR pass now includes Nozomi if I'm not mistaken? Please keep your current hair style when you cut your hair. I see many Japanese movie stars with their hair part in the middle. 😎
I was in Japan a few weeks ago and unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch you around Japan 😢 hopefully I can ran into you when I go to Japan again next week year 😁
Rion, you should put the dates in your video, so that we can plan our trip around the same time. When you say a week before Sakura, a date would help in planning for next year.
Hi Rion, I really enjoy your videos they are very informative and fun. Could you please show what is around Nishikujō Station? I will be staying in a hotel nearby on november, and I would like to know what is around, Let's keep walking.
Hi Rion, can you travel using the Willer Bus (Night Bus)? I was interested because using the Willer Bus is very cheap compared to the Shinkansen and is suitable for travelers on a limited budget. If you could review it, I would be very happy and helpful
Is there any other way to travel from Tokyo to Osaka? I tried the night bus. It was around 9800yen. I didn't get much sleep. The bus stopped every 2 to 3 hours for a toilet break.
Hi Rion, what if we have big luggages? Do we need to reserve seats in Shinkansen? We are arriving Tokyo on 20 Sept at 6 am. Then we are planning to go Osaka by Shinkansen. Thanks
Hi! If you have oversized luggages (height+lenght+width=160cm or more), you'll need to reserve a dedicated seat before boarding on the Shinkansen. The other alternative would be to use Taqiubin service (maybe Rion could make an update video about this service?), it's so convenient and you won't have to worry about strolling from Tokyo to Osaka with luggages, they'll wait for you directly in your hotel in Osaka 😊
Do You know if I Can pay by pasmo passport card for Hiroshima shuttle bus to the airport ? Or I will have to buy a ticket for shuttle in the bus or in the ticket machine ?
According to the website, probably you can use the Train IC card (including Pasmo) but no guarantee 😅 www.hiroko-group.co.jp/kotsu/kousoku/limousine/unchin-jikoku.htm
I (not Chinese) felt some level discrimination in Japan multiple times during my visits. Specifically more local areas businesses. I thought some businesses generally don’t want to communicate tourists who don’t speak Japanese I guess. However over all experience very good. I have met kindest ppl there too.
Future video idea: could you do an explainer on the Osaka Metro? There are tons of videos on the Tokyo Metro, but not many on the Osaka Metro. Looking forward to your Kansai videos!

I only had 8 days but was able to squeeze 2days in Osaka. It was my second time. 2 days is just a sample but it was worth every penny.

@@yukiaguOn my first trip, 3 days was a good amount in Osaka. 👍 If you and your mom are interested, visit Osaka during the World Expo in 2025.
I like the food you chose today.many people are also concious about their health now ❤im your follower.
Japan is the only place that the pictures in the menu look exactly like what you're served. Loved everything in Japan when we visited.
Thanks for all the tips! They will be very useful since we will be making videos for our channel in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka in May, so we will definitely be heading to Tokyo Station!

Ye end up going to Namba parks,Osaka,Japan so I can tell ye love it as well as I do. cheers😅
Good video and information. Really help! If I'm from Asakusa, going to Kanazawa using Hokuriku pass, what station I must go from Tokyo? Thanks
Just subscribed on this other channel of mine too, been a subscriber for years and love the adventures you take us on, Thankyou rion! Gaaahhh! ^^
Hi Rion, I really enjoy your videos they are very informative and fun. Could you please show what is around Nishikujō Station? I will be staying in a hotel nearby on november, and I would like to know what is around, Let's keep walking.
Around the station it’s a bit quiet but area but in convenient place😊
RION!! can you please put the names of the apps you used in the description? thankyou

25:18 That 140 yen apple juice is delicious!
Hello Rion, how much is the fare of Shinkansen Nozomi non reserve seat, from Tokyo to Shinosaka?
Is there any other way to travel from Tokyo to Osaka? I tried the night bus. It was around 9800yen. I didn't get much sleep. The bus stopped every 2 to 3 hours for a toilet break.

SmartEx does not work when trying to register from the United States? Fail to validate any credit card I put in!
Worked fine for Canadian card, but not all of them. Had to try a few.
Hope you are having a good time with your family and friends! Happy Easter! 🐇🐣🌸
future video idea: please visit Nara Park
Hi Rion, which app do you use to buy shinkasen ticket?
“EXアプリ” in Japanese👍
It seems the weather is warmer ya
until when is spring break ? does crowd go less after spring break ?
Will be better after the spring break, it’s until end of 1st weekend of April!
Can you visit Denden Town soon? :D
👍👍👍
Hi! We sent you an email a few weeks ago! Have you seen it? Looking forward to hearing from you! 💜💜
Please make USJ Halloween horror night content
Tnx a lot rion always having ur UPDATE in Japan activities keepsafe, watchin hir in Davao cty PHIlippines(",*-*,")Arellano families
Let’s keep walking! 😆 my japn travel be like
Okinawa ! yes 🎉 😂
Rion, the EX APP has only 1 star rating as it’s hard to use Credit Card to pay. Is there another helpful App?
Can you make a video on where we can eat good Kobe/wagyu beef? In Osaka, Tokyo or Kobe, whichever has the best deal :D
I can never eat izakaya food with just plain water 😢
Can you make a tutorial on how to install the Shinkansen IC in the Apple Watch? So does that mean you don't have to have 2-3 tickets printed?
You can just download the SUICA app and EX app, you don't need to carry ticket but each person needs individual SUICA though ^^
For the discounted ticket, how far in advance can you buy one? Is it on the day or you can buy the day before?
Really depends on the ticket they sell (changed by season), but usually weeks before should be fine, but you need to make sure of the expiration date!
Do You know if I Can pay by pasmo passport card for Hiroshima shuttle bus to the airport ?
